Connecticut (and New England in general) is liberal, almost always, and a good Democrat stronghold for the elections. After Obama was named president, a loosely organized party were banging pans together and walking around campus shouting, "Obama!" or "Yes We Can!"

I'm very happy to be in a liberal state. Connecticut does have that redeeming quality.
