Toxin yawned and stretched as he decided to begin his day. It was near the end of the day, but during the night was the best time to hunt. He had figured this out by following his mother around one night while she was hunting for his siblings and himself. Toxin knew one day he would be far better than his mother at hunting and just about everything else. He smirked at the idea. He looked up to his mother very much, and the thought of him being better than her made a smirk appear on his maw.
Toxin licked his lips, which were as dry as his throat. He growled at this then twitched slightly. Where was the blood? Most thought Toxin was insane, but he knew that he was simply... different. Where was the fun in being sane and normal? Far too boring for his liking. He flicked his fluff tail as he looked around the cold forest he was hidden deep within. Most mothers warned their cubs not to go into the woods at night, but Toxin knew well that he was one of the reasons other cubs didn't go near the forest as their parents had told them. Was that something to be proud of? Toxin thought so.

Belynda smiled to herself, noting that the sun was now working it's way around the world. This meant that soon, the forest in which she reclined in would grow black; the prime time for hunting. Lyn licked her furry little lips at the thought of sinking her teeth into a smaller animal, the warm blood seeping it's way out of the puncture wounds. Just thinking about it gave her a sense of self-satisfaction and joy.
Continuing to recline in a particularly large, but squat, tree in the forest Lyn gazed out upon the forest floor. Not much was scuttling around in the fallen leaves. Yet.
