Kinyago was out by herself, as she was most often. Her brown eyes stared out before her rather blankly as she moved forward rather mechanically. She was heading towards the river to wash up just like her mother had asked her. She always did what her mother told her, when she was told to. After all she had to be the perfect child.

She trotted forward with her back straight and her head held high just the way that she should. When she reached the river she paused at the edge and looked down at her reflection annoyed by ripple of the water distorting the image. Frowning she shook her head before taking a step into the water effectively destroying the image as she let the water filter across her fur, which was rather clean, to rid her of any unwanted dirt that was visible.

Working to clean herself rather thoroughly she focused upon the fur above her paws ignoring the fact that it was destined to get dirty only minutes later. Once deeming herself clean she stepped out of the water and shook herself to rid herself of the extra droplets of water that she could. Then deciding that she wanted to be dry before returning to her parents she moved up the back towards the sunniest part before settling down on her belly.

It couldn't hurt to wait could it?

Gzifa didn't know where she was, then again she never did. Since she'd struck out on her own--her own with her traveling partner anyway--it had never mattered. No place was home, no place was off limits. She belonged no where, yet belonged everywhere.

The loss of her best friend had been dwindling. Just not enough to depress her for more than a day. There was probably nothing in the world that could. Gzifa was radiating joy today same as the others, quite literally dancing her way to the river. She shuffled her paws around one direction, then another, span, and swayed to the side.

When the reflection of the water shined in her eyes she dove right in. Her idea of a bath? Rolling around, getting soaked (both with water and dirt), then jumping out and shaking off wildly. Unfortunately for a certain little leopon, she picked the spot next to her to stop before doing so.

Kinyago hadn't seen the canine otherwise she would have continued on her way. Unfortunately when she did see the female it was too late. Water came splashing upon her and she instantly jumped to her paws completely startled. "Excuse me!" She stated whirling around to face whomever it was that had so rudely gotten her soaked.

She struggled to remain calm and under control as she slowly shook her fur out. The young leopon let the anger vanish from her system as her rather annoyed expression was replaced by that of a calm, collected...neutral expression. Manipulating her emotions and expressions were something she had spent a lot of time on and now was something she had perfected.

"Excuse me, but I do not think that was very polite."

She pointed out trying to remain polite as she spoke. She didn't elaborate on what she thought was rude, she assumed that the older female knew what she had done. When she looked down at her paws, as well as the rest of her fur, she inwardly groaned. There was not only water but mud everywhere.

Great she needed another bath. That was definitely not perfect.

Gzifa had close to now idea what she'd done. That special kind of dense where after three minutes of conversation you may as, "Is she for real?" is the kind of dense Gzifa was plagued with--or perhaps, blessed with. Ignorance is bliss, as they say. Sometimes, though, it's also troublesome.

She looked over her right shoulder, her left shoulder, at the leopon, then around. What in the world was she rambling about? Gzifa decided to muse it over as she shook the remaining water off, unaware she'd just committed the same offense twice.

"Hi!"

As she waited for the other to say something she stood there just observing, studying if you will, the wild dog unsure what to make of her. When the canine looked over both shoulders she tilted her head just the slightest indication she was confused. What was with this female? Was she insane? More importantly, why hadn't she said anything.

Frowning with just the corners of her mouth she let out an in audible sigh before water struck her again. Jumping back she narrowed her eyes in a glare to the other. She had done it again! Clearly she had no respect for her. Then again she couldn't expect her to respect her but she honestly couldn't believe that she had repeated the offense.

The words, or word rather, that left the dog's mouth were not the ones she had been looking for with upset her even further, although she did her best not to show it.

"Hello."

She replied with iciness evident in her tone. She was not happy and she would get an apology. At least that's what she planned.

Gzifa had the uncanny ability to overlook or possibly just ignore any level of bitterness directed toward her. She may have just been too out there to notice, but more likely, she just didn't care. Life was too short to be bothered! Although nothing really took longer than living, come to think of it...

Hm...

That was deep.

Too deep for her. She shook her head and decided not to stress over it. No more than she would the bad mood of this... Wait.

Now, wait a second, what was this?

Gzifa trotted around her in a circle curiously, ears held high and eyes wide in wonder. This didn't look like the lionesses she knew, and not quite like the leopards she'd met either. "Are you a leopard or a lion?"

If there was ever a person that could aggravate Kinyago, it was definitely this female. It was clear that she didn't care about the consequences of her actions and if she did she didn't show it. To put it simply the young hybrid was baffled by the canine. What was she trying to get at?

When asked a question, completely off topic to her, she said nothing at first. It was an extremely rude question yet at the same time it wasn't. It was very likely that she had never seen a hybrid before, something she could not be angry about.

"Neither."

She replied trying to think of a way to twist the conversation back the way she wanted it to go. Her mind raced as she struggled, internally, to think of a way to bring the topic back to the other splattering water, and dirt, not once by twice on her before she could ask another question.

"Excuse me miss but did you forget something?"

It was the politest thing she could think of to get things to swing her way but she had a feeling it would have no effect at all.

Neither?

Gzifa was now beyond confused. She looked like a lion and a leopard, but she wasn't a lion or a leopard? She scanned the juvenile over again, trying to determine any other possible creature she knew of that might be the right one.

"Hm?" Forget something? Uh... Oh! Crap! The puppies! "Oh, I did!" She thought hard about where they might, for the second time looking in every direction. "I did forget them. I better go!"

Her daughter was going to be so mad.
