So yeah, do you guys have a favourite? biggrin If not, do you have a genre you like more than others?
For myself, I really like comedy, romance and action, so my favourite film is probably Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I also really liked the Matrix trilogy, even if the end was a bit...overboard. Bruce Almighty was awesome too.

♔ Ugh. . . Hmm. . . I love Pride and Prejudiced, Becoming Jane made me cry, Emma. . . Lol, I'm listing almost all the Jane Austen films, lol. [*Tries to come up with other types.*] That one Irish film with Tom Cruse and Nicole Kidman was really good. Really sad though, I cried a little. There was supposed to be a "part two" though, so I'm looking around to see that.
As for types, well - romance is my favorite. (I also like Vampire movies, but I'm homophobic, and ones that are really scary are too scary for me. I didn't like Twilight that much though. But it was better than the book, and I don't like the book that much at all.) Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a good movie!
[ Ps - Thank you so much for making this thread! I'm trying to get more people to make threads. Thank you again! I like this one!!! biggrin ]

 C:
It's a religious based movie, it's very good though.
I'm not going to tell you the whole thing, just what matter's. Old religious Welsh traditions called for a Sin Eater after they died to take their Sins away. After young Cadi looks into the Sin Eater's eyes, she must get him to take her Sins away, in belief that her mother with forgive her and her family's hurt will be know more.
It's about truth, and such. I'm not real good about summary's or anything but you should watch it. There's also a book to.

No problem. C: Great movie, not very big. But I still like it.
A little, but then again the main character is only 10. There is what little bit between her and Fagan, who happens to be 15. Who, if helps, happens to be really CUTE.
It doesn't have it in the film, but in the book they get married. heart

♔ "Far and Away" with Tom Cruse and Nicole Kidman. A movie about a young Irish man who's father was killed by the land owner, and his house was burned. He goes on a journey to kill the landowner, but ends up threatening his life and becoming the landowner's daughter's escort to America. They both are after the free land America is hosting a race for, but their relationship builds with every day together, and is threatened in their change of attitudes caused by the fast paced American Lifestyle. ^^

Good Irish and/or Irish-made movies -
The Commitments, The Field, My left Foot, Excalibur, Lamb, Michael Collins, Ryan's Daughter, Widow's Peak.
Those are all pretty good "Irish" movies, without horrible accents (except for Julia Roberts in Michael Collins) and not too much Hollywood stereotypes biggrin
My own general favourites -
Schindler's List The Colour Purple Lord of the Rings The Birds Life is Beautiful The Birdcage Benny and Joon Remains of the Day Silence of the Lambs Ladyhawke
About a thousand other, I could go on for ages lol
