One of the most dangerous places in the South Blue. This grove is uninhabited by humans, it is a land that has not changed since the time of ancient beasts. Dinosaurs among other creatures roam these lands. Somewhere in the center of the island lies a grove where Devil Fruit grow freely. Although getting to them is very difficult because of the exotic and aggressive animals that inhabit these lands.

- This is where Devil fruits can be obtained
- You must have 100,000 experience or more to enter this island
- You cannot ride the ferry or swim to this island. You must have a boat
- You may not return to this island unless the fruit you take is extracted.
- PM a mod when attempting to post here.

Kale arrived, hopping off the boat and onto the island. She looked around, things seemed calm at least for the moment. Glancing around, she tied up the boat and turned towards the island again.

The island was calm however, a human had just entered. The beasts of the island were unfamiliar with the smell and they all moved towards it. Vicious Dinosaurs and other strange monsters made their way to the human's boat. The grove was not to be disturbed, the beasts would make sure of it and in the process hopefully get a meal out of it.

Kale took a breath and retrieved her weapon. She didn't know if she would have to fight, but she needed to be prepared for anything. Taking a step forward, Kale glanced back a second. She could leave now, not risk herself for what she knew was out there; but she was brave. She giggled, "Nah, I came this far." She told herself and slowly started towards the center of the island, completely un-aware of the monsters that were heading her way.

Rednal quietly sailed into the Bliss Grove... and it appeared that somebody else was there as well. How interesting. Well, maybe he could use that person as a diversion for any animals on the island. Or work with them to reach the center; they probably weren't after the same Fruit, and it made sense to cooperate if you could. With that in mind, he began moving forward, ready for whatever decided to come his way. It didn't take long to find the other person; she must have just gotten there. "'Sup?" he inquired.

[Since I didn't say anything about the amount of people allowed on the island you two have the option of sticking together, splitting up or doing it individually. In any situation since Vanity was here first she will get first shot at a fruit followed by Rednal when she is done.]

As the beasts rushed thorough the island their massive legs breaking trees and smacking into each other as they made their way towards the humans. The rush to the food caused some competition and the only animal to emerge from the deep forest was a large basilisk emerged. It stood before the two with its mouth wide open and dove in for the kill, trying to catch both in his mouth in one swipe.

Kale had glanced over at the new comer and offered him something of a smile. "Hi," was her simple response, taking 'sup' to be more of a hello, than a question. As the basilisk emerged, Kale's eyes widened marginally and with it an enthusiastic. "That is so cool!" She even we as far as to think it was cool when it swooped down to try and kill herself and the other.

However, not wanting to die at this moment (and deep down inside; ever) she attempted to dodge the large 'monster'; that felt she and the other, might make a delicious meal. Realizing that this was probably not the best time to continue slight conversation with the other, she allowed the medium length red blade to snap into a whip, and cracked it. First time to use it; but those people down at the Forging Pot definitely knew how to make a girl's weapon; nice.

The red shine of the whip attracted the beast's eyes and although it hadn't caught either of its prey it knew which one it would try to eat. The basilisk roared before it charged towards the woman. The monster's size would have been enough to crush and grind a human's bones.

Being of chicken and snake descent the creature was unable to fly. However it planned on using its massive claws to rip the prey apart.

Kale kept her eyes on the large basilisk, yelping outwardly as it turned it's direction towards her. Of course Kale didn't think it was because of the sword; and said this while she snapped the whip in the direction of the over-sized snake...thing. "Hey! Just because I'm a lady doesn't make me weaker!" She warned, then for a moment pondered if she really thought threatening this monster would work.

Deciding that trying to do so, would just be silly; and probably death resulting. She cracked the whip again, allowing her wrist to go limp. Jumping backwards, she twisted her wrist out; a simple strike of the whip to the basilisk, maybe she could weaken it with a few good hits, and then move in to finish it off.

Inwardly, she was fighting with herself about the 'dark' undertone her thoughts had taken when she realized she'd have to the kill the monster. Part of herself liked the idea; the other was sort of appealed. The earlier was winning. Logic on that side after all.

After the first whip attack, she re-coiled the whip, planning another.

<I apologize for the long-winded-ness of my posts; btw! :3>

The beast seemed to enjoy the retaliation of its prey. As the weapon hit it a wide grin appeared on its face and although it was a mindless killing machine for a slight second it appeared as though it possessed some sort of personality.

As an animal it didn't understand what the woman was shouting. It just seemed to entice it more. The main weakness of the monster lay in it's chicken like limps. Attacking those would be dangerous due to the fact that the legs were also one of the primary weapons of the beast.

As the woman retreated, after the first attack the basilisk slammed its beak into the ground where the woman was standing.

Kale was taken surprised by the grin that slowly spread to it's face but that seemed to interest her. "Oh I see how it is!" She yelled, though part of her guessed this thing had no idea what she was saying.

As it slammed it's beak into the ground; Kale was taken off balance -- knocking her back just a bit. She kept her footing, and ran back towards the beast. Planning an attack was just has she had learned it to be, quick. You couldn't stand back and wait; you had to get in there and go for it, plan as you went and all of that.

Looking over it, she decided to do just that. Dangerously attacking the legs; though not so much as a main target, but as almost a capturing mecanism. She didn't know if it would work, the beast was large; using such a technique that she had just learned.

Flicking her wrist, she spun the whip, then released; It was almost as if she were throwing a ball underhand, but the whip curved. She was trying one of her own moves, one that if was success could bind arms or legs; in this case -- Kale was going for the legs of this chicken-snake abomination. Maybe she could use it's bound state, to get an upper hand.

A few kicks to the head, release the whip, and while it's still trying to make it's come back, finish it. All of this was well in good in her mind, but she had to get the animal almost immobile first.

The beast's head which had just been slammed into the ground was rather heavy. As soon as its head was lifted up it tried to move towards its opponent. However due to fact that it took a moment for the creature to raise its head, its opponent was able to wrap its legs in the whip.
It was now immobile and one of its most useful weapons was no longer usable. Out of fear the beast began to wildly shake its head in a frenzy hoping to make contact with the woman by some stroke of luck.
It was a sitting duck if the woman played her cards right.

[ I encourage the long posts XD. Lets wrap this one up so you can get your fruit]

<Fruiittttt~~~ :3>

Kale was going to congratulate herself for pulling off that move so quickly, but she decided against it; the time was not for celebration for living, and taking care of what needed to be done. Eying the abomination, Kale quickly decided on a plan of action; her thoughts strayed back to the kicks; Getting an idea; Kale quickly went on the offensive.

Still, managing to hold the whip; she ran for the large beast and jumped into the air, putting all the force she could muster behind the kick. Normally; she had been taught that this kick would be best suited for the neck (hence Trachea) but this monster seemed to be a whole lot of neck -- so when she used the powerful kick she aimed for just below, the head; the neck on a normal person, animal; and hopefully this thing.

It was quick, and she could feel the connection; but she wondered if it would do as much damaged as she hoped. Just enough. She needed it to be just enough to either and preferably kill the creature; or knock it out long enough that she might make a quick getaway.

As the powerful kick hit the top of the creature's neck it screamed in pain, a loud enough scream to make the birds of the island fly off the tree branches. The monster fell to the ground unable to rise again. It was knocked out.

Although it had been defeated large vibrations could be felt on the island. It would be best for anyone near this creature to try and make their way in towards the center of the island where all the fruits were, before its mother could arrive.

Kale watched it fall, and jerked her head towards the birds that flew away. "Wicked!" She was pleased in herself, snapping the whip back into sword form and putting it away in it's sheath.

Feeling the vibrations, she squeaked and took off at a run, towards the middle of the island. Whatever was causing those vibrations, she really didn't want to stick around and see.
