A fairly modern and busy town. Pirates flock here because it isn't very "Marine Heavy", meaning not to many marines are stationed here. This is almost a lawless zone where fights break out quite often, Black Beard and his crew are usually drinking in this area..

Rednal quietly wandered into the area, and careful to keep well back, he settled down to meditate again. Though his meditation was an active one this time, focused on body movements he was copying from those below. Enough with the thoughts on Zoan and Paramecia. What about the powerful fruits, the Logia? The Moku Moku no Mi was said to be among the stronger ones, allowing the user to use and manipulate smoke or some such thing. Being Logia, it was inherently gifted with a whole lot of power, and he could see how it might come in useful.

The Mera Mera no Mi strongly appealed to him; Rednal had always liked fire, and he thought it would be a useful power to have. Certainly, it wasn't something that anyone could beat easily; a firestorm would devastate almost anybody, and if that didn't work, he had enough tricks up his sleeve to make other sorts of victory possible. He simply needed to use his head and work hard to get them. Yeah, the Mera Mera no Mi was definitely something he wanted.

The Suna Suna no Mi, a Logia Fruit of Sand, was relatively famous for who had used it, and not many people wanted to mess with such nasty powers. Unfortunately, its weaknesses were relatively well-documented by now, and if someone was smart they would still be able to beat someone who used this fruit. It might have been fun, but he would have to avoid it, instead going for something a little more mysterious. Always better if your opponent didn't know how to beat you. He shifted into kicking movements, like those he'd practiced before.

The Hie Hie no Mi, an Ice Fruit, was said to be in the hands of the Marines, and that made it something he couldn't obtain despite its power. Apparently, it was actually capable of working on seawater, which went against most of the rules of the Cursed Fruits. That was one nasty power, and not something most people had any intention of messing with. It was a shame, but he couldn't go for that one. Had it been available to a loner like him, he might have actually tried.

The Toro Toro no Mi, not to be confused with the Tori Tori no Mi, seemed to allow the user to turn into a non-water liquid. He didn't really know much about it other than the fact that it existed, but it seemed surprisingly powerful, and not to be messed with. All Logia were like that; only a fool would be willing to mess with their powers unless heavily armed with seastone or an equivalent sort of power. Maybe the world needed more fools, though. His foot arced through the air once more, then settled down to rest.

The Ame Ame no Mi would allow one to turn into some sort of candy syrup. According to the histories, this fruit was actually amazingly powerful, and even less deserving of being laughed at than other Logia, which was really saying something. He didn't like the type of power, though, and couldn't see how it was truly something he wanted to use. He needed a different sort of power to be as strong as he could potentially be, not candy. Rednal began punching again, this time much harder.

The Sumi Sumi no Mi was a more interesting fruit, but most useful for someone like a clerk at the Marine Headquarters. Official infomation was that it allowed the creation and manipulation of ink, which while interesting was hardly on the level of Logia powers that could control nations. No, he wouldn't be on top of things from consuming that fruit either, much to his regret. There were so few good choices of what he wanted to have as a power.

The Yami Yami no Mi... a Logia that didn't let the user phase through attacks. Talk about strange. There were exceptions to every rule, though, and this Fruit had power over other Fruits by no small degree. With a power like that, even other Cursed Fruit users would find it difficult, if not impossible, to defeat him. A dark, chaotic power that could consume even the might of the curses... it was worth serious consideration as the power that he would choose.

The Basa Basa no Mi was the perfect complement to the Sumi Sumi no Mi, paper to its ink. If you could eat both, you'd be an unstoppable, one-man records keeper for the Marines, and even apart, they could probably forge any order they wanted and take down the Marines from within. Never underestimate the power of things like that to work from behind. Not so great up front, in many situations, but truly powerful under the right circumstances.

The Pika Pika no Mi, the Light Light Fruit, was the one Rednal wanted the most. Unfortuantely, it was also kept by the Marines. However, it was noted as being excessively powerful, allowing the user to attack at the speed of light. Rednal had studied the sciences somewhat, and he knew just how impressive a power like that could be. It was a deep shame that he couldn't acquire it; he'd have to go for something else instead. Le sigh magnifique, as some said...

Well, he'd meditated long enough. He'd picked up a few techniques, thought about the Cursed Fruits and what he wanted to do next, and it was pretty much set. He needed to set sail for the Bliss Grove and go grab himself a Cursed Fruit. Rednal let out a heavy sigh. His life was about to change forever. With that thought and done, he got up and began walking away. Time to go make his mark on history, and succeed he way he wanted to.

Walking into Carmine town Jesbero saw a man who was tap dancing around the streets with joyfulness in his steps. Jesbero sighed as he saw this man, and said," Wow such enthusiasm." Laffitie who was the tap dancing man, said,"Thank you I try to make every step count." With his clogs on Jesbero saw him as less of a opponent, but he still said," Well sorry to say this, but I can see your tattoo." Jesbero then swung his leg towards Laffitie's head just so he could block the swing. Jesbero then said," Pretty tough for a cane." Laffitie said," True, but maybe your kick isn't the strong enough thing."

Laffitie broke the clash, and jumped back. He then began to tap dance which pissed Jesbero off, but when he ran to throw a punch Laffitie practically jumped to the left, and to the right like he could see Jesbero's moves. Jesbero laughed and he then said," Stealth walk." Laffitie smiled, and said," Soft step." Laffitie moved faster then Jesbero and then kicked him in his gut, and then whacked him on the head with his cane. Jesbero stood up, and then said," Damn why are you so fast."

Jesbero felt like he was weak as hell compared to this clown, but he laughed as he jumped back up onto his best attitude, and he said," Seriously you're ******** with the Violet Fang, and you won't live after this fight." Laffitie smiled, and said," Oh really well lets just see then." Laffitie began tap dancing again before using soft step to get behind Jesbero. Jesbero could barely hear the clogs while Laffitie moved, and he said," s**t he makes to little noise." Jesbero began throwing punches and kicks in random directions, but failed to hit Laffitie.
