The sweet breeze nipped at the mare’s mane as it swept is chilling embrace across the newly budded curls of grass that waited their chance to grow to the long wavering grass that grew there every year. Spring had taken over the Kawani lands in full grace and nothing made Kanti anymore excited then being able to hunt down the soon to be ripe luscious apples that hung from the branches of the trees. The silliest grin of happiness slapped itself across Kanti’s face as she sucked back a breath of air and looked towards the cerulean sky to watch another puff cloud in a shape of a funny looking soquili sailed by.
Today so far was going pretty good for her, no leaping stallions with purple manes or tails, no loud noises of shrieks of the new foals that now happily played around the feet of her mother and brother, so far it was a morning filled with peace and quiet. Shaking her mane for tune of her beads tinkling against one another, Kanti made her way from the small top of the hill towards the small river that caught the glimpse of her eye.

Frowning, Konoha just left his teepee after arguing with his father. He was always so irritated when he went home and he always tried to stay away for as long as possible. He loved his family, he really did but sometimes he couldn't stand them. They were way too restricting.
The stallion stood underneath a nearby oak and closed his eyes taking deep breaths. A few seconds passed and Konoha felt much more relaxed. He cleared his mind and began listening to the animals around him. There was a stream nearby and he could hear the stream bubbling.
Opening his eyes, Konoha noticed a mare in the distance. He didn't feel in the mood to talk to anybody right now. Regardless, Konoha wasn't exactly the most talkative soquili anyway.

Despite the fact that the hill was somewhat small and well bore a gentle rolling slope, Kanti could feel her four hooves gaining speed as she pounded her towards the small arch of trees that neatly like rows of little two leggers lining themselves to protect the water. She kept her head forward, her eyes steady and a somewhat bizarre grin on her face as she readied herself to leap into the tree line, but something else caught her eye, it was larger and blue in color and somewhat reassured her it wasn’t a flower swaying in the breeze.
Kanti quickly slowed her pace to stop nearly gazing the branches that protruded forth from the trees as she eyed the leaf the unfurling leaf that fluttered in front it was a little close for comfort. Shaking her mane again she looked around in the direction she had seen the blue blob and caught a glimpse of a blue and white feathered wind stallion. He seemed more so disinterested in what she was doing or either was refusing to acknowledge that she was there in hopes of ignoring her. Kanti’s brows perked in curiosity, she didn’t mind being ignored by others it, but something about the stallion’s expression reminded her more so of a nephew that she had at home. The stance of something that had bothered him but seemingly guarding the feeling inside with the symbolic silence of drop it and leave it alone.
Ingoring the fact that the stallion probably wished the same, Kanti edged her way forward her ears flattened and eyes questioning.

Konoha's mind was wandering but he wasn't thinking about his father anymore. What was she doing? He had noticed her moving through the trees but he turned away. He didn't want to bother with other soquili right now.
The stallion closed his eyes again pretending he couldn't see that the mare was moving towards him. He hoped that she wasn't getting any closer but he wasn't going to run away. Konoha was tired of walking away from people. When would they start running away from him? But he didn't have the heart in him to be nice.
Turning around, Konoha kept his eyes closed and kept concentrating on something else.

Kanti furred her brow quickly as his back now greeted her. The resemblance was striking, stubborn and anti-social just like Tsela and in all honesty annoyed her quite a bit. True, she had no idea who this blue colored stallion was in front of her but he could have at least acknowledge her presences and given her a nod, a grin, something, but being ignored was much more infuriating to her even if there was something wrong.
Fine then Kanti thought as a small grinned appeared on her face, if wanted to ignore, she wasn’t going to allow him to.
Looking around she quickly picked up her pace to a light prance until she was a few feet away from him. Shaking her mane again with her blue eyes narrowed her head lowered, “hello.”

Furrowing his brow, Konoha really hoped that he wouldn't hear the mare's voice in a few minutes. He had no problem with other soquili but he really wasn't in the mood. Who knew what kind of person this soquili was. She could be the most annoying soquili he's ever met for all he knew.
And for some reason, mares always ended up more annoying than stallions. It was just in their nature he had guessed. Konoha heard her hoof steps getting closer and closer to him. Shaking his head tiredly, the stallion turned his head to look at the mare. "Hello."
He said no more hoping that maybe, just maybe, she would go away. Weighing the pros and cons of talking to her, Konoha was beginning to see that this mare wouldn't go away without some encouragement...

Finally! The stallion had turned in her direction, the somewhat halfhearted hello was better than nothing, however something was still unsettling to her. He was still, somewhat anti-social like, his head hanging tiredly, his shoulders somewhat apprehensive but sluggish, he wanted to be alone and she could tell by his body language that was what he had wished for. She paused for a minute wondering if she should continue on her way and leave him to be on his own, however, something about her own nature refused after going this far to do so.
Now what? Her brained asked her now that she had, somewhat gained his attention. She wasn’t sure, usually Tsela just made a face at her and would attempt to run away, this stallion remained where he was his eyes closed unfocused to the sky.
Allowing her head to lean to one side she replied, “is something wrong other than me Sir.”

Turning his body around again, Konoha looked her over curiously. She seemed... normal enough, nothing evil at least. And his kunai was tucked in the wrappings around his leg, so there really wasn't anything to be worried about. Konoha had run into his fair share of not so nice soquili.
"No, there's nothing wrong with you except for the fact that you're still talking to me." He wasn't bitter or trying to be mean. He was just annoyed by the fact that she was there. He could tell that she was going to be a stubborn one and that this might be a very long day. Konoha really could be an amiable and kind stallion but he really didn't feel like talking to anybody right now.

He was a purplish to almost bluish color, brown and white mane and tail and the white wings that ruffled when the breeze still lightly made it was through the plain. He bore an odd silver looking wrap on one leg and bandage wrappings on the back leg. Nothing about him seemed familiar to her as to markings of a family that she would have had recognized. As she figured, he seemed harmless, lack or more so the will to kill, or at least never bore the inkling to do so towards anyone. Kanti gave a warm smile that she could put on her face, reassured it was probably more so a silly grin but nevertheless.
“Pfft, me talking to should have been more or less the least of your worries, it could be worse……” she paused trying to think what could be worse than a mare hassling a stallion who somehow refused to be somewhat chatty, “well it could be much worse, besides I can’t help being somewhat nosy to someone who looks like their sunny day started to rain on them.” She kept her blue eyes on him reassured that for whatever the reason he didn't want to talk she would simply pester him until he was at least break a smile.
