Story




The City of Briar was build around Lake Marava by the humans. They chose this spot because it was in the valley filled with hills and grass, surrounded by many mountains and isolated from the outside warring worlds. They thought that war could not possibly reach such a peaceful place but they were wrong. As the city began growing, the war grew closer and closer but the naive people of Briar believed they were safe but it wasn’t long till the first spark of trouble arisen. Fires began breaking out throughout the mountains and as the monstrous beast of men, mutated with powers and abilities, called the Aaron raided the city, the people became scared, they had no way to defend themselves. Many were lost and killed, their bodies thrown into Lake Marava, turning the lake a dark red color from the blood and spirit of the people.

Generations and generations have past since then, the people of Briar had fallen to the Aaron who now controls the city. They had split the city into different statues. The Briar, what they called the generations that descended from the original people of Briar, was the lowest status. They were treated as slaves and peasants, and the Aaron, of course, of the highest status, nobles and Lords. But the Maravans, named for the bitter bloody lake, even now after it had grown once again clear, were those of a mixed blood. They were rejected by all society and now they are fighting back

No god modding. You are not all powerful, you must have weaknesses.

Respect other role players, your characters can fight but you may not. (take intense arguments and cybering the pms) we want you to enjoy yourself and have fun.

Do not kill off other role player's characters without permisson. If you plan on leaving this role play, please announce it to us and either plan with someone on getting rid of your character or get rid of it yourself so no one is stuck in a conversation that will never continue.

Powers:Control earth and plants, (including making them grow), and controlling/creating winds.
About you: Lily was the result of her human mother's affair with one of the higher ranked Aaron. She was born blind but this never stopped her from trying to live a normal life. After her mother died of illness, she was left in the care of her mother's best friend. She is usually energetic, cheerful and very outgoing, but she's also very catious and serious when he comes to certain topics.

Powers: controlling water and turning invisibility, sometimes also being able to turn transparent and disappear completely. Though she cannot yet control when this part can happen because of the amount of energy it takes.
About you: Haruna was raised in the upper ring of the city with her mother and Lord father until a year ago where she was married to Edwin and became queen. She is quiet and is expected to be "seen not heard." She often just stands besides her husband during his meetings and looks pretty but sometimes she prefers to escape.

About you: no one knows anything about him other than the previous kings adviser had found this baby on the steps of the castle and took him in all he had was a nameplate engraved was his name he was sent away by the king when he was 5 and returned a 13 years later to be in full control of his powers and himself probably the only man in the world the kings have feared and still do his cold stare and his ability to always know whats going on have always baffled the high royalty. (he always seems to give off a soft glow)

About you: Samiel was the b*****d child of a Briar and an Arron. When his mother died, and there was no proof he was part-Briar, he started to act like he was full-blown Arron. He is a good friend who looks out for those who he cares about.

Lily sat in the Myrtle Valley beyond the hills and a few miles away from the city. She sat there practicing her ability to grow and control the plants.

as taibhreamh looked out his masters window on the rainy day he wondered why he could not do something to change the weather tho he was adept at using various types of magic and elements he was not great like his master was it wasn't that he didn't try it just wasn't his gift he is very good at manipulating dreams tho one day he remembers that he summoned a fairy for lily it made her so happy and he was glad that she was happy ever since she saved him from drowning he has looked out for her which reminded him she was supposed to be here 10 mins ago where is she?

Michal sat there listening to the king drone on to the court how the slaves must be found since a few days ago several slaves escaped from the palace he has been very upset Michal doesn't care why he never did he knows the king doesn't order him to search for them the king is scared of him and so the king keeps him as close as possible most of the time tho he is the kings adviser he is also the most free man in the city he does what ever he feels like and he like that feeling of being detached from destiny but he gets feelings now that tell him change is on the way.

Lily felt the rain begin to fall and suddenly remembered she was suppose to meet Taibhreamh ten minutes ago. she stood up and began walking back to the city, the plants guiding her way.

Haruna rolled over, curling up next to her husband. "Tell them to come back later, sweetie." She pouted.

taibhreamh started to worry about lily so he sent one of the shadow dreams he had conjured to look in on her it reported back seeing her in the Vally he breaths a sigh of relief she knows that place better than anyone it doesnt matter if she is blind. he sends the shadow back to keep a close eye on her and help her should she need it.

Lily continued walking over past the valley and in towards the city til she reached Taibhreamh's master's home.
