Mokosh laid in the sun happily. It was a breeze like this that made him love the days. Though he wondered where his little follower had run off to.

Aldrinada sighed slightly as she stepped outside. It looked like yet another warm day was upon them. It wasn't that she really minded, especially with the breeze to help her cool off, but with all the ribbons and the mask that she was wearing, she often heated up to several degrees higher than anyone else. And she will happily assure you that that is not a pleasant feeling.
With a long stretch, she proceeded out of her den and looked around for something to do. Far in the distance, she could just about make out a hazy shape. A lion perhaps? Either way, she would explore. Changing course, she headed proudly towards it.

Mokosh noticed the fem he had talked to before walking towards him. Though she was still quite a ways off, he layed still. The only muscles moving were that of his tail flicking back and forth to ward off flies. Aother yawn escaped him and he got up to walk towards her.

With a wry smile, Aldrinada saw the shape move in the hazy distance. Definitely male. There was something off about him though. He looked... oddly familiar. Where had she seen those markings before? Why did he have features that didn't appear... quiet right? As the two padded towards each other, everything clicked into place. The odd features came from his Da'lin nature, and she vaguely... remembered bumping into him before. This certainly perked up her day, she finally had something to do.
Increasing her pace, she soon drew close to him. Casting a glance up and down, she decided she liked what she saw. Very very deliberately, she sat herself down and proceeded to flick her tan-colored tail out behind her, the pink ribbons fluttering in the mild breeze. "You look familiar. Have we met?"

Mokosh came to a stop when he reached her. Noticing the soft voice leaving her mouth his mouth twitched with a smile. As he nodded, his elegant mane shook with grace. "I do believe we have. Just after I came to live here. Though your name escapes me at the moment..... I am Mokosh." A slight bow before he sat in front of her.

Corners of her lips turning upwards in a grin, the lioness looked up at him from under her eyelashes. Her eyes followed his mane as he shook it gently, admiring the colors in it. She could see that he was trying not to smile. That was a good sign, he seemed to be friendly enough. And he didn't look as though he minded that she was a Zahina lion, which was another plus.
As he said his name, she suddenly remembered their previous encounter. "How could I forget?" She purred, "I'm Aldrinada. But if that's too much of a mouthful, feel free to call me Aldri." She looked around at the landscape, eyes tracing over the features passively. "Settled in well?"

"As well as a lonely lion could. Though I guess not too lonely since I have Mosi... But he isn't really the type for big conversations." He gave a slight laugh ahd looked at her. "How have you been doing since we last talked?" His face got a little solomn as he asked "I hope your ribbons haven't been getting caught in things."

Pausing for a second, Aldrinada titled her head to one side. Who was this 'Mosi', another female? But no. He said 'he', not 'she', so what? Another male? A cub? Shaking her head slightly to clear it of such thoughts, her pink mask caught a glimmer of sunlight and shone out like a pink beam. Wincing as it reflected in her eye, she managed to keep her face pleasant.
"Who's Mosi?" She asked, her voice soft and innocent. "And things have been alright. You know, a little bit here and there but nothing too exciting." She couldn't help but chuckle as he mentioned her ribbons. "I've lived with them for a while, they're not getting caught on anything anytime soon."

Mokosh looked at her blankly for a second "Hmm? Oh, hes some kit that follows me around... he can be kinda annoying sometimes =__=" His mouth twitched a little again "Though what cub isn't, I guess. You know, I haven't really seen him lately.... I hope he's okay." His mind switched to what she was saying about her ribbons and he nodded "I'm glad. I'd hate to see someone like you trying to wiggle her way out of a bramble bush."

Aldrinada almost exhaled in relief. No females, no males, just a cub who wasn't his. Noticing his blank look, she quickly tried to cover up. "I was just curious, and that's a very sweet thing to do." As he almost smiled again, she let out a low laugh. Her soft voice was pleasant as it tinkled through the air. "I guess they are, not that I've any experience with them."
As he mentioned the bramble bush, she attempted to look shocked. "Me? Wriggle out of a bramble bush? I've never acted so undignified in my life!" She wrapped her tail around her paws gently, keeping the ribbons just above the ground to avoid getting them dusty as if to emphasize her point.
