The sky was overcast with low clouds, ones that a young mare could have just soared straight up to touch them. Hooves dragging in the soft beach sands and her wings held close to her sides. Many wandered the edges of the shoreline looking out at the gray and blue water that lapped close by. Seaweed laid scattered over the beach from when the tide had retreated, also leaving a few creatures stranded on dry land. Mindy stopped a moment as something snapped at her blue hooves, stepping back she spotted a small red crab, its claws snapping at her angrily. "Op..." she muttered moving to step around the crab and continuing on. "Seems everyone is mad at me for some reason..."
Ears laying back, Mindy looked back towards the ocean, her steps taking her closer until she was splashing ankle deep in the foamy waves. The subtle cold shook up her legs and out her wings before she stopped again. Here she just stood and watched the horizon, light colored eyes just gazing. The clouds rolling lazily, the air smelt of rain and salty sea and drying seaweed. It felt like a storm was brewing, one that was making Mindy ever edgy... Then again everything made her edgy...
