It was another day, and the dew from the leave of the trees above stripe dripped onto her head, waking her up. She shook he head looking up and wondering where it came from, another dripped on her and she grumbled at the tree and it's dripping leaves, removing herself from underneath it, she shook herself off and looked around, no-one seemed to be around, so she headed toward the clearing. For some breakfast in peace or maybe to meet another early bird.

Abloec wasn't usually an early bird, but he hadn't slept well the night before. He really needed to find somewhere that made for a good resting place. Stretching as he walked, still yawning, heading to part of the clearing with long juicy grass. His mouth watering as he reaches the patch he had seen the night before, smiling this beeing a good start to the day. Begining to eat from the edge.

As soon as stripe reached the clearing she didn't look ahead, just at her hooves as she walked, soon a lush patch of fresh grass was squashed under her hooves, she looked up at at green horned stallion, in front of her, she felt too close form comfort so she backed away, knowing not to interrupt strangers feeding.
She didn't take her eyes off of him for one second,"Hello",she swallowed heard, tilting her head to one side like a playful foal,"I am Stripe, who might you be?" She whinnied nervously, still eyeing him. He wore glasses and beads, here eyes winded as they rand over his feature,"sorry for my staring",she shied away and bowed her head to eat some grass, her ears turned back. .

Looking up soon spotting the young mare he finished the mouthful of grass he had and smiled. "Hello, I'm Abloec, its nice to meet you." Noting that she seemd nervous and uncomfortable he made no move to get closer or anything. "Good grass huh." Trying to put her at more easy with his natural friendly manner, not really minding the stairing, he had gotten used to being looked at as different. "Nah its ok, I know I look a little odd to most."
Getting another mouthfull of grass letting her relax a little, not liking to upset others.

Stripe nodded and laughed nervously,"Nice to meet the Abloec. Wow nice name." She relaxed a little, he didn't seem to dangerous, She munched on some more grass looking up,"lovely grass, can't believe that anyone could miss this spot, usually later on it's so crowded,"she finished feeding and decided to eat more later as it was rude to eat and be involved in a conversation at he same time," Oh I'm sorry. Yes, I've been told it's not nice, I shouldn't be one to stare. My great cousin told me what it's like. Her being a cerynei and all. She was the first cerynei foal in these lands since their return." Stripe shuffled around,"but people only stare because you look awesome. Seriously",she smiled,"I've never seen shades on a soquili, hehe, you must be cool."

Tilting his head Abloec took in what she was saying. "I'm going to sound like a stupid idiot here but whats a cerynei?" Expression sheepish, he was foreign here so was still unfamiliar with many of the expressions and breeds of animal. "If you prefer you can call me Ab, I know Abloec can be a bit of a mouthful."
Having stopped eating himself as she now seemd more relaxed and open to talking. His smiline becoming a litle embarassed at her complement. "Yeah I've not seen any others with shades here, though they are common where I come from. We need them to protect our eyes from hot bright sun and sand alike."
Giving her a quick once over, taking in her appearence, trying to not seem obvious about it but thinking she was pretty, and finding her markings interesting. His eyes soon back on her face, not an oogleing kind of guy, he could appreciate looks but usually did so subtlely prefering personality. Besides he usually tried to be polite.

"I'm short, the Cerynei are another soquili breed, they posses the qualities of a deer",she nodded, blowing her hair out of her face.
Stripe sniffled through her nostrils,"Hmmm, figures, that's a good logical reason, not many soquili like sand whipping around, and those who know not to look in the sun are better off that way",she winked,"are you desert folk?"
She had the urge to play tag with the new stranger but kept quiet, finding just the conversation interesting. She flicked her pierced ear and smiled at him, now with both ears targeted on him.

"Deer soquili..." tilting his head as he thinks on this, a variety of possible mixes coming to mind, though none totally accurate to the truth of what a Cerynei looks like. Shaking his head to clear the images before he got lost in them.
Grinning and nodding. "Yes I'm from the desert, though I don't know how I got from there to here." Shrugging a little not having spent allot of time focussed on solving this little mystery.
Looking at her pierced ear, leaning a little closer to get a better look, not having seen something like that before. "Doesn't it hurt?" It looking like she had been stabbed a few times and the metal left there. Leaning back, quite tall himself not wanting to overpower or intimidate.

He saw him shake him self out of his thoughts and giggled. "The dessert, I've never visited it before, because it's too hot, but we have one north of here or something",stripe's smile grew wider.
"My earrings? No. Well I don't remember when I got them, but it was long ago. But apparently, it hurts when you get them done, but I don't remember when I got mine done? Maybe as a foal or something like my great cousin",stripe flicked her ears,"it's up the who ever, to get it one if they like though, but it is supposed to hurt." She rattled the beaded anklets on her, and shook her long mane, settling down to eat more grass.

Grinning at being caught in his own thoughts he nods. "Yes its very hot, which means this lovely summer day to me is cooler than I'm used to. But I think I'm starting to get used to it being cooler." This actually more wishful thinking than the actual truth, not looking forward to the winter.
Letting her eat some more, not able to look away from the impaled ear, unable to stop the slight wince at the thought, one of his ears twitching in reaction tothe thought of something being put through it.

"My dad loves the cold. He very much hates the warms, but I'm versatile. But something as hot as what you are used to would probably cook me to death",she said flatly.
She stopped eating and looked up at the green stallion, "are my ears bothering you", she asked slightly pouty, she flopped them down and shook her head to hide them under her mane.

Abloec goes a greenish pink as he blushes. "No not bothering me... Just fasinated and entranced." This being true, not having been able to look away from the sparkling hoops in her ear. Though now he was looking away as he felt embarassed that he had made her uncomfortable.
"Much like the cold, the hot is something you get used to bit by bit, though neither are ever really comfortable. There were days I'd feel well cooked and I gew up in the heat, though the warm rains we would sometimes get in the winter were nice."

Stripe saw him blush and her smile returned, and her ears stuck up again,"okay, what every you say",she giggled.
"True. I have yet to get used to it, but I'm sure to be able to take it fine, the heat would just be attracted by my dark pelt, white is versatile for both, but darker colours aren't. I like the sound of warm rain." She started to imagine it, falling and smiled again.

Abloec looked over her markings and nodded. "True your darker markings would make the heat harder for you, but chances are you would adapt in some way. But as I don't think your planning a trip to the desert I don't think thats a problem." Smiling at her again, still blushing slightly but it was fading gradually.
Looking around he spies a fruit tree on the edge of the clearing. "How would you like some cherries?" Sometimes able to snag a bundle using his horns. Though it usually had some small hickup when he did because of his bad luck, but mostly it was either he got covered in juice of tangled so no one got hurt. But it was worth it in his mind because cherries had become his favourite treat since finding himself in this place.

Stripes ears perked,"Cherries? I've never tried them before. I'd love to try some." Her purple eyes averted to his horns,"is that what you use them for?" She nudged him gently,"to get cherries?" She was deeply intrigued.
