Nyx stood by the information booth of the park, shifting her weight from one paw to the other, obviously nervous.
People and random foxes passed by, some casting glances at her, but she avoided everyone's eyes, trying to find a particular pair..
She could hardly believe she'd let her housemates talk her into this. Seriously, a date? With another female? Sure, Senna was very nice.. They did get along great, shared some interests... but Nyx wasn't sure if she could think of her as a potential mate. But Artemis and Jackie sure seemed to think so..
But now that she was here it was too late to bolt. She'd already agreed to this... date... that her two friends had set up for them.. and to her surprise Senna had agreed too. Maybe her feelings were as mixed as Nyx's were?
She kept looking around, flicking her tail about in a nervous manner. When would Senna arrive?

After looking around through the crowd of people and foxes she spotted the one she was looking for and rushed over with a big smile on her face.
"Nyx!" She stopped just in front of the other fox with a slight blush on her face. "Sorry I'm a little late. Shall we go in?" She looked at the other fox and waved her paw towards the park. She waited for the other fox to get up and follow her before she walked over to the ticket booth to purchase their tickets. She bought one for each of them and picked up a map of the park so they wouldnt get lost on their first date. She then turned towards Nyx, handing her her ticket, before walking next to the other fox into the park, tail swaying back and forth happily.
As soon as they got in the park she looked around. She figured she should be nice and let Nyx decide where they would go first since Senna already knew where she wanted to go. She smiled at Nyx. "So where do you want to start first?" She swished her tail behind her while waiting to see where her date would like to go.

Blushing under her dark fur, Nyx smiled sweetly at Senna when she arrived. "It's okay, I haven't been here for that long.. let's go", she said lightly and swished her tail from side to side excitedly.
She followed the other female inside the park, looking around, trying to decide which attraction they should go to first. "Um... maybe we should.. um.. go to the haunted house, or perhaps the rollercoaster?" she suggested. She hadn't been to the park since she was a kit, and she wasn't sure what Senna liked - apart from the ferris wheel, which Nyx was somewhat afraid of.
"Heh.. Nana and Popo would probably be thrilled if I brought them here", the dark female thought then, but shrugged off the thought since this was supposed to be a date. She could come with her housemates and the kits some other time. Today was supposed to be an opportunity to get to know Senna better.. and she wanted to grasp it.

Senna gave a big smile and jumped around a little. "The haunted house sounds great." She stopped jumping around and came over next to Nyx and blushes a little. "If thats okay? We can do the roller coaster after that if you want to?" She looked at Nyx with a small smile, waiting to see what she would choose. She really didnt want to choose the whole date for them and wanted Nyx to do things she wanted to and have fun as well.

Nyx smiled a bit wider now. Since they were in an amusement park, who would stop her from enjoying it, as if she were a kit once more? Wasn't that what the parks were for?
"Sure thing", she said then, taking a few steps to the direction of the haunted house. She'd never really been afraid of ghosts or anything, but.. she liked a bit of thrill and chill every now and then. Moving her tail playfully, she walked with Senna through the crowd, until they reached the waiting line to the haunted house.
"I'm pretty excited", she admitted to her date while they waited. "It's been so long since I was here last."

Senna smiled, happy her date was having fun, but also happy that they were in a place both could enjoy themselves.
Her tail swished anxiously, she was excited to be here. She looked around at everyone and everything, barely able to hold in her excitement, then she looked at Nyx and blushed lightly. "Im excited too." She still couldnt believe she was on a date, but it was going good so far.
Looking at Nyx again Senna wondered something. "Umm, you live other foxes, dont you?" She felt awkward asking but she figured she should start up some kind of conversation as they stood in line.

Nyx smiled at Senna's question and nodded a little. "Yes, there are four other foxes in our house. Two angelics, and two kits that I've been looking after. I'm kind of like an older sister to the two since they have no parents.." she explained, her ears flicking back and forth in a mix of nervousness and excitement.
"What about you, Senna? Are there others where you live?" she then asked as they moved forward in the line. There were still some people before them, so why not carry on the conversation until it was their turn?
She'd always considered herself "straight" but.. somehow she felt a lot more comfortable around Senna than any male she'd ever met or talked with. Maybe her nervousness around them had just been because she felt awkward?
