The RP Takes place in the same land as always. So the same places are here: Snowy Mountains, Desert, Jungle, Swamp, Volcano, Forest and Hills, Tower, Town, Great Forest and any other area I miss.
Story:
As the profession of the hunter has become more popular, the guild put a ban on the hunting of certain species. Numbers of Rathalos and Rathian dropped to near extinction and almost all species besides the herbivorous creatures and Neopterons became endangered. As a side effect to this hunting limitation, the creatures came back and in greater numbers after the hunting ban was lifted. Now the species are venturing out of their zones and into the zones of the more dominant. And to make matters worse, a new subspecies of Tigrex and a subspecies of Nargacuga have appeared and both creatures are larger and more volatile then their brethren. With the rise of monsters and strong hunters numbers dwindling, the guild has allowed the usage of trained monsters to aid the hunters. Though met with criticism, this choice has saved many a hunters life.

ACCEPTED CHARACTERS: Username: Trueblade Z Character Name: Zachary Bio and Traits: Hs father hated the ban, plain and simple. Long before Zachary was born his father and grandfather hunted many monsters and even managed to slay a Chameleos. When Zachary was born, his father vowed to train him to hunt even though it was illegal. Eventually, Zachary's father was caught and thrown in jail. When he was released, he and Zachary left for the jungle. The two lived there happily watching the monsters in the area grow and breed. The father and son even bonded with a female emerald Congalala. Eventually, a Rathian came to hunt and the wyvern targeted the Emerald Congalala's young. Zachary's father grabbed his Wyvern Blade 'Leaf' and attacked the Rathian. The hunter and the congalala almost defeated the Rathian but when her Rathalos mate attacked the two were killed and Zachary's father's katana was the only thing left but it was broken. The wyverns left and Zachary found the only cub of the Congalala, a normal pink Conga with bright green hair. Vowing to one day destroy the Rathian and Rathalos that killed his father and his pet Conga's mother, Zachary wielded his Iron Katana and donned his armor. When his parents died in a horrible Rathalos attack World famous hunter Jaz token took Josue under his wing and trained him in all things hunting. Jaz had taken Josue to pokke with him while he set out to capture and confirm a new species type on the snowy mountains. On that dreadful evening the village received word that Josue's Master had been killed by the very monster whom would come to be called Kushala Daora. His Gandfather refused to hunt even a single thing after the ban was up, despite the sight of his wife, son and grandchildren growing thinner by the day, his Red Tail lance just sat near the fireplace a thicker layer of dust everyday. Finally after his Grandfather passed away and he was of age, the ban was lifted and he took up hunting to bring honor, and more importantly food, back to his house using the only set of armor he could afford and his Grandfather's old Red Tail. He also had a fair little thieving escapade in his early teen years which ended him up with a loyal Kelbi, the monster whose 'family' had provided the only meat he had ever eaten ironic huh? Tigrex were not docile and tame creatures and during mating season they were even angrier. Bob was sent to kill one Tigrex but the possibility of a second made Bob reflect on his own mortality. He was confident he could get one but if a second Tigrex showed up, he knew he would surely be killed. As you can see this poster made it as if they were reading a story, not narrating something happening. Incorrect Poster Bob looks out from his tent. As you can see even though the two stories are the same, the second one makes it seem you are in the present/ future tense. It also sounds like you are giving a lesson on Tigrex ecology. A boy who looked to be in his mid-teens walked into the gathering hall, a heavy dark red shield that looked to be made from large scales was strapped to his left arm and a similar, yet beat up looking lance was strapped to his back by a harness. He wore what was clearly second hand leather armor by the small rips and tears and a hesitant look on his face as he walked over to the receptionist behind the counter.
"Welcome to the Pokke Village Gathering Hall! How may I assist you today?" The girl behind the counter greeted him cheerfully with a warm, well practiced smile.
"I-I just need a Gathering quest in the Snowy M-Mountains." Leion stuttered out as he held out his identification proving himself a Hunter, for the woman to see.
"Alright then, would you like to put up a request for other Hunter's to join you?"
"W-Well, I g-guess I cou-"
"Okay! It will be taken care of, please have a seat while you wait for someone to request to join you!" she said happily dismissing him to attend to the other Hunters who had formed a sizable line because of Leion.
He again hesitated before walking over to the tables that stood in the middle of the Gathering Hall, looking around for an empty table. At last he found one right near the request board where another attendant was already pinning his quest up, though he couldn't tell that they had listed him as 'Hesitant-looking boy'.

Zachary finally got to the desk and talked to the girl there. He was finally going to be a true hunter. He had hunted Velociprey illegaly before the ban was lifted but now he would be considered a true hunter.
Hi there. My name is Zachary. I would like to sign up for a quest.
The girl looked at him oddly.
Sorry but this is not the area for you. This is for G-Rank hunters. From the look of you I'd say you'd be a rank one hunter. The hunters that get quests here are like those hunters.
She pointed over past another youthful hunter to a group of hunters wearing High-Rank armor and powerful weapons.
Zachary shook his head in shame and went to the low rank desk.
Hi there! You look new. Maybe a nice 'Slay the Anteka' quest will work?
NO! Anteka are not what I am after. Ugh... fine give me that quest.
Sorry. That quest is taken already. I can send you on a gathering quest with that young man.
She pointed to a boy with a red lance. Zachary nodded and sat down near the other young hunter.

Josue entered the gathering hall ready for another day of blood sweat and tears. He walked over to the girl behind the counter and smiled sheepishly at her
Hey there miss, I'm looking to join a group. Are there any open requests?
We'll there's a group heading to the snowy mountains, care to join them?
Sure! He replied quickly, Without his master around he had no choice but to take what he could get
Josue walked over to the table the girl had pointed out to him where two young hunters seemingly no older than him were sitting and slammed his gear on the table hoping to get their attention
Hey, my name's Josue! what's up? He always tried to be friendly towards hunters he hadn't met

The other hunter hadn't said anything but a new hunter walked over and said hi.
Hi. I'm Zachary. I do not know who he is. So are you here to join us? We're going to the Snowy Mountains. I wish they would have given us something to hunt. A giadrome would have been fun! Sorry, I am just angry. My Conga, Bongo, and I just got here and I wanted to hunt. Sorry for venting. So what are your names.
Realizing he had been whining Zachary said to himself to stop. He had just joined a group. Maybe the three of them would one day bring down the Rathalos and Rathian that killed his father. Zachary smiled at the thought.

"I-I'm sorry for choosing such a boring quest, but thank you for deciding to accompany me." The boy stuttered slightly indignantly. " My name is Leion, and once we leave the village you can meet my monster partner Beilk. All I'm really doing this quest for is some good fruits for my family, but if you two want to go off a do some actual hunting you don't have to follow me around." he muttered as he stood up and readjusted his lance before heading to the exit of the Gathering Hall. ready to go on his first group adventure.

Well, Zach -If you don't mind me callin ya that!- It's not that bad, besides If a monster were to show up we would have to defend ourselves wouldn't we?
Then turning to the other hunter who had just announced his name
Well, we could still try to make the best out of things, maybe we can help you?
That we we could find something to hunt when were done!
Just then a small felyne poked it's head out of Josue's rucksack

No I don't mind Zach. Maybe some giaprey will give us some problems. Listen to me, wanting to get attacked! Haha! What's your Felyne's name?
As Zach looked at his two companions he heard the G-Rank hunters scream in disgust and saw a brown cloud of gas. An unpleasant odor filled the air and Zach saw Bongo, his Conga munching on one hunter's bag. Bongo bit through the fabric and pulled out a mushroom and grabbed it with his tail. Bongo was OCD and carried something around with his tail.
Bongo! get over here!!!
Bongo yawned at Zach and fell asleep.
Umm... I am going to meet you guys outside... That's Bongo, my conga...
Zach quickly ran over to the passed out hunters and pulled the Conga out by the tail. Bongo slept as his claws scratched the floor.

A boy in blue Kut-ku armor rode into town on a lumbering Apceros that was loaded down with supplies and the remains of a Gaidrome. The boy looked tired and cold but altogether fine despite his earlier battle with the leader of the Gaiprey. "Good haul eh, Tank?" the boy said, patting his faithful mount's shell. The behemoth grumbled in reply and kept lumbering forth along the road toward their house by the hot springs.
Shiloh still couldn't believe he lived in such a beautiful village on the mountains. The air was crisp and cool and smelled of food and steam. But he still missed Kokoto village and it's warm climate. Although he lived next to the hot springs, he still felt the chill whenever he went hunting. Be was passing the guild when something caught his eye. It was a higher-up hunter Zach bulling his Conga: Bongo out of the guild by his tail. "Lemme guess, mushroom cravings?" Shiloh guessed.

Zach recognized the hunter but could not remember his name. They had talked a couple times but no details came to Zach's head.
Yeah. He went after the G-Rank hunters and gassed them. He got his mushroom though... Your name is Shiloh right? I am Zach and this is Bongo.
Bongo lay on his back snoring quite loudly and scratching his stomach. If he wasn't so attached to the creature, Zach would have found him embarrasing.
So you got a Giadrome I see. Was it hard to get?

Shiloh rolled his eyes in exasperation. "I didn't even land a single hit." he laughed. A smile split over his face as he patted Tank's head. "My apceros, Tank got him with one swipe." Shiloh laughed. "So yeah, it was sort of easy. Say, would you mind helping me out on a quest? A family friend needs some help and I couldn't say no." Shiloh explained. "There's a 9000z reward for it." Tank lumbered closer and sniffed Bongo curiously.
