Premise: With half of the participants remaining, GTB is now halfway through with a few more rounds until its conclusion. Through a series of three rounds, fighters have proved themselves of their prowess and ambition to win thus far, and move one step closer to their destination: the championship. However, as the numbers dwindle down, the competition increases, as the best are narrowed down and each comes with an equal amount of skill. It is going to take experience, intelligence, and even luck at this point to determine who goes on and who goes packing home. Midus Sonners has also decided to increase the presentation of the fighting arenas that the fighters are going to be taking place in for the duration of the tournament. While keeping with the Colosseum theme, Midus will be including variations of themes to keep things interesting and not as boring as a plain sandy ground with some walls and people watching you. That is why he has sent all the fighters to another venue for their fights. This time, with all fighters on board a plane, the crew flew themselves to the southern coast, a place caused Myamu Beach. Normally a vacation resort, the entire span of the beach has been reserved for the entirety of round four. People will be scattered around each fighting site to watch the fighters go at it in a nightly beach arena. While to them it seems like entertainment, to the fighters this is life or death. Description: The sun has set, bringing about the darkness of the night over the entirety of the beach. Instead of artificial lighting being used, natural fire has instead become its substitute, bringing about a constant changing hue of orange overlaying the beach and its occupants. The beach spans for a good amount of distance, so each fight will take places in its own "section" which will make it seem separate from the other far away fights. Each fight takes place in a ring of fire, which is basically a large circle of the sandy beach. Outside this fire, spectators watch, either standing or sitting in chairs, laughing and talking as they enjoy their drinks, food, and conversation. While this may be a competitive tournament, this scene of "entertainment" has placed increasing obligations on the fighters themselves to keep the audience entertained. Unlike the normal arena, the people are closer than before and their boos, cheers, and comments can be heard a lot clearer and louder. This means the fighters will have the psychological element added to the fight, much like the closely watched fights such as wrestling and boxing. Expect a noisy atmosphere. Field Measurements: The ring of fire has a diameter of 45 yards, which is 135 ft. For those who need a comparison, just look at a football field and see the distance from one touchdown line to the 45 yard line. On the boundary of this circle is a series of lit fires on wood, which are as tall as only one to two feet. Spectators are spaced twenty feet away from this boundary in order to avoid possible injury from the fight. Ten Count Boundary: Going outside the ring of fire will result in the starting of the ten count. The flying rule remains intact. Added Penalty: Harming spectators is a no-no. Any intentional action against them that ends up hurting even one will result in a DQ. This can be either direct (going up to one and hurting them) or indirect (using a very dangerous attack that has a possibility of hurting the spectators). Accidents will be gauged to see whether it counts as an accident or was considered recklessness by the user.

The scar left on his left abdomen still ached briefly, despite it being mostly healed in the aftermath of Round 3. A wound that was a reminder to the swordsman on how his skills have diminished greatly these years..
Even the change of scenery - another terrain advantage to the swordsman - couldn't lift the more depressed mood he had for the remainder of this tournament. Not that it was anyone's fault that he was getting rather rusty, but still, the feeling wasn't something that can be ignored or shrugged off that easily. Furrowing his eyebrows to focus more on what the battlefield would look like, he frowned at yet another sandy arena, reminding him of his first round against the earth user. While there was the addition of salty water nearby...
The surrounding fires did little to make the swordsman feel any better, it's uncomfortable heat already starting to make his cloak feel warm, despite his...attuned element.
"Hm..."
The long flight to here gave quite some time for the swordsman to think about some things, as he walked to the center of the battlefield to get things started. Under the undeniable fact that there was a need to re-work on his basics... Should he stick to just plain physical combat, in order to retrain some of the foundation he lacks as of now? Getting first place isn't a possibility anymore, with Tenkai - the man that gave him the scar, taking the winning spot...
Should he, as a result, just take things more easily then? No more need to worry about getting a win every single round and finding himself troubled with each new problems. No more need to be frustrated or win at all costs, even if he contradicted himself in the last round... Is it all right if he just played casually, for once?
His eyes glanced up a bit at the stars starting to appear, the face more forlorn in expression.
Entertain himself, perhaps...?
"....Why not?"
The swordsman immediately drew out his Halberd from behind him, holding it with both hands and having the axe held close to his left side. Placing his left hand close to where the back of the axe was, he elevated the weapon up so that the axe was held just above his head, as his right hand was placed in the middle of the staff - pointing the end point of the staff in a downwards slant to the ground a few meters in front of him. Similar to a person holding the sword above their head for a downwards strike...the swordsman took that similar stance and applied it to the Halberd, waiting for the foe to appear and ready themselves for the fight ahead.
His left foot shifted back a bit onto the uneven sand, putting the swordsman into a slight right stance while he waited, taking in a deep breath... And beginning to gather in some water in the humid atmosphere, stocking up some energy for use later.

Bishop would bump into a few of the audience members as he pushed his way to the arena. He loved the view of the beach at night really, it was nice a cool, it was quiet except for the bitching of the audience since he was showing up to the match late. A girl ran after him and shouted for him, she was kind of half naked but wrapped up in a sheet of some sort. He would simply just turn around and bark at her.
"Get the ******** on! I might call you!"
She cried. And she ran....wah wah. Bishop continued to the arena as he still listened to the spectators mumbling and yelling insults to him for not showing up on time for the fight. He didn't care, he just carried that cocky smile and pressed on by. Leaping swiftly through the ring of fire would allow him to escape with no problem and gain way into the new area. His opponent already set in a guard.
Bishop would move his hair from his face and well, this time he already showed up top less, just his pants, boots, and gloves. But he did carry his spartan looking shield and his upgrade item. He would pull the shield from his back and equip is on his left arm. After securing it it took a slight stance that led with his left unlike his opponents right. His right and would then bring forth the custom morning star, and his palm would grip the handle tightly, his thumb itching to mash that button for some added effects. Now, Bishop was ready, and if the opponent refused to start, then Bishop wouldn't mind doing it himself.
"Aight' Home boy, I hope you ate your Wheaties this mornin'."

It isn't too often that the swordsman fights against someone with a shield. Much less an unfamiliar weapon like a mace, for that matter as well - but having been put through things much worse than this, if there's anything that he should already know about -
Is that things that look ordinary, most likely aren't. Especially in a tournament setting like this.
The swordsman would turn towards the opponent who had finally shown up, aiming the end point of his staff towards where the foe stood. With the staff being roughly more than six feet in length - not including the axe, which was an additional two feet by itself - it seemed that the swordsman is adopting a different style to use for today, already in a poised strike with the axe held just slightly above the left side of his head.
Keep it simple...
A lone orb - nearly transparent but giving off a dull blue glow, materialized near his presence by then; a single charge of energy that he had gathered while the opposition was late in his arrival. Chock full of condensed water, it would float lazily around the swordsman's figure as he kept his mouth shut, raising an eyebrow in question at the term 'Wheaties' that the foe was talking about.
What the hell was wheaties anyway? Some kind of drug or candy that made people go high or something? Strange words it is.
The end point of the staff would still be pointed at the foe's general position - particularly aiming at the foe's chest as an interference to a possible rush or offensive attack. As the swordsman would continue to charge up a second orb for use, narrowing his eyes to get a better look at the foe's situation...
He eyed the shield on the left... Mace on the right...
"Hm..."
Some of the swordsman's experience gave him some rough ideas on how the foe would act with that combo. If he is using those types of weapons...and if his hunch is correct... The axe held to his left side started to move a bit further away from the swordsman, giving him more room to swing from the side as he shifted from an implied, poised downward strike to a poised diagonally downward strike.
"In any case."
His grip tightened for a brief second.
"Let's get started, shall we?"

Bishop's narrowed hazel eyes would study the man before him and mostly absorb the staff and the orb at hand. This wasn't good. A magic man like that jedi.....damn it. This match was going to be tougher than expected. He would compare that six foot staff with the two foot axe at the end to the reach of his own items. And honestly due to the hand placement on the staff to have 'proper' balance, the staff wouldn't be much of a b***h to get around.
He would poner about going right on into the fight seeing as to how his opponent had that orb, charging might be a bad idea, But standing here could be just as bad, that energy seperated from the man's body could presumably be long range...Meaning that whether Bishop made the first move or not, he could end up attacked at the same time Decisions decisions.
After debating enough, that awesome chip at the base of the skull would begin to function, pumping electromagnetic waves through Bishop to send messages between the brain and the nervous system at a way faster rate than before. This would ultimately begin and cause a bit of a higher adrenaline rush as he prepared to attack. He too would've begun to charge up his electroplaques that were implanted mostly in the torso. So that way if he were to deliver a shock in this fight it would be one of a bit more control instead of impulse and he would be able to hold it longer, though the creature the feature was based off of could already host a discharge for longer than a couple hours.
Son as his opponent said 'let's get started', Bishop would begin to approach at a battle pace leading with his shield, presumably not too fast or slow as to allow his opponent to get some sort of jump on him as speed could control a factor of leaving one's self open. As Bishop got withing the staff axe's striking range, he would flex his left arm a bit more, ready for impact should it come. One the other hand, the right hand, Bishop's thumb was located near two buttons, read to press either if he found a opening or a reason to use such a special feature the opponent guess on the weapons abnormality.
Long story short, Bishop moved in and remained silent, and would allow little time to gauge his opponents moves and try to read him in order to not screw up his first full on attack.

His other weapons - dual katana blades, which was hung on both sides of his hips rustled slightly with his motion as he start to finish his second charge, the foe taking the initiative in the fight. Seeing the foe lead with the shield, it wasn't hard to fathom that the tactic would probably be...
Deflect using the shield, followed by a swift counter by the mace. Or....shield bash? Perhaps shield bash followed by swift counter initiating - ahh, ********. The swordsman's assuming too much right now.
Taking a readied stance already, the swordsman only knew one thing; In terms of distance, the swordsman himself has the edge at landing a first strike with his staff. It'll leave him to a possible counterattack, most likely but... Brief flashbacks of his fight against Tenkai, followed by the feeling of loss after that round flooded his vision for a split second. And, with that overwhelming his hesitation...without further qualms anymore, the swordsman suddenly delivered an attack at Bishop immediately after he got into his staff's range.
But not with the axe. No. Instead, it was the end point of the staff that was thrusted forward briefly, aiming downwards to smash at Bishop's left kneecap when he moved in, above the boots the foe wore. As the foe was most likely attuned to keeping his awareness at the shield he held, aiming for a low blow to immobilize him should be a bit unexpected for the mace-wielding opponent. Besides, the short thrust should be fairly unseen, especially with the shield blocking most of the view from the opponent's gaze. (no given size of the shield)
It also gave the swordsman some quick follow-up methods he can use after the attack, depending if the thrust was successful in hampering the leg or not.
Meanwhile... Two orbs would be floating around the swordsman, glowing a bit more brightly as if foreshadowing a possible use of them soon.

Bishop was ready, ready for anything, or so he thought.
Crackup!
It would be obvious at the beginning of the fight already that the swordsman was experienced in combat, much more that the street fighting thuggish thief introduced to weaponry. This guy was more a match for Elliot honestly, but this was a tournament, and Bishop wanted that damn money, and beggers can't be choosers. Once that staff hit him it would be as his leg raised in his moving forward, the left leg precise which was a stroke of luck and bad luck all at once.
The thug grit his teeth as the staff hit below the knee, on the upper shin, in which was still unprotected by the boots worn. He would stop his movements on that note as he simply would try to ground his leg before a follow up occurred. It would seem based on his last fight, Bishop learn that it didn't matter how aggressive of a fighter you were here except for the fans, you had to smart, agile, and strong to properly compete. Now as for further reason of the hit landing, Bishop's shield guard covered from the bridge of his nose to just below the belly button, a pretty wide shield. This through of depth perception for the attack that he almost literally hadn't seen coming, but came it did.
Once his left foot connected with the ground he would actually shuffle to his opponents right, assuming the blade was more to the swordsman's left, in order to try and keep tabs on the axe end of the staff. His guard resetting as he still gauged his opponent, and a second blue orb appeared now. It made Bishop think of final fantasy but he was sure effects of such 'magic' were not the same. And judging by the blue hue, it meant in his head something to deal with water, ice, or electricity even. Almost needless to say that Bishop too would continue to charge as even with his cpu chip his sped up thought process seemed hindered by the change of pace of the opponent given to Bishop in this match. However, Bishop remained not so discouraged as the fight unfolded, and so far his fans seemed to host wtf faces, and a few were already clapping at the jut of the staff to his left leg. With this in mind he wasn't so sure what meant more, fame or fortune? Did he want to go out with a blast or still win the money with last minute dirty tricks that would possibly get him nowhere? Or did he really want for people to huddle around him like a star just to tell ******** off, give them the finger and bounce on out? Regardless to accomplish his goal, he had to beat this guy, yet not just for these goals, but to stay in the tournament longer than Elliot as well just to say he was the better fighter despite round one.

Landing a successful strike on the knee, the swordsman continued on the offensive as the end point of the staff was further pushed to tangle and be placed right between Bishop's footing, right after the attack. Adjusting his footing to follow Bishop's movement to his own respective right, the swordsman would have anchored most of his weight onto his left leg, using his right foot to glide along the sand and keep himself mostly faced towards the mace-to-shield wielding foe.
With a quick shift of his right hand however, the staff that would be between the opponent's legs would suddenly be flicked upwards - as if aiming for an upward strike right at the opponent's groin. But that was not the swordsman's intention.
Instead, one of the already charged orbs would disappear, being drawn into his Halberd, giving an insight on what the swordsman has in mind before -
A bright blue color shot down from the top of the Halberd towards the end point of the staff like a pulse. Making sure that there is contact of the opponent's unarmored flesh on the staff... A burst of razor-sharp ice erupted from the bottom part of the weapon like a thorny vine a split second later, bursting out of the condensed orb that the swordsman just channeled into his weapon. Used with the intent to impale and dig deep into the opponent's inner thighs at point-blank range, the swordsman would take a quick step back quickly by pushing off with his right leg, using the spikes like a hook to further tear through the flesh and maim the opponent's ability to move.
While he is unsure as whether or not the attack would actually go as planned, regardless, the swordsman would be increasing the distance briefly between himself and Bishop from the step-back, the weight now anchored onto his left leg. If this wasn't exactly a planned retreat, then the pose which the swordsman took gave him another good follow-up, either for a heavier strike with the end point of his staff, now bristling with sharp, jagged ice growing out of the bottom...
Or the axe, his left hand secretly tightening its grip around the back of the Halberd.

Bishop wouldn't really see this attack coming till he noticed on of the blue orbs had poofed. By the time he was going to react, it would seem his opponents fluid movements would prove quite the challenge.
Shink!
A slight tearing noise from the stab as the ice penetrated clothing and stabbed into the leg of Bishop, though from the looks of it, it wouldn't stop Bishop from moving, though it would hurt like a b***h to move. But this was the interesting part, when this staff would have ice spire connected to the steel weapon, Bishop would use his electric ability this time out of plan and strategy as apposed to innate ability or reaction.
SNAP CRACKLE POP!
The electrical current at hand was bordering .02 amps and would be complimented by the steel and water/ice combination. Since Bishop had about two charges saved up by now, its common sense that he would naturally loose a bit of that in this maneuver, though, the loss of the charge was for not. As the opponent would be receiving the shock, even if it didn't get through, Bishops form would twist to the left a bit as to where his shield wouldn't be in the way but the guard it had not much dropped either. His right arm would come around as if he would going for a hook to the face of the swordsman, as his wrist would snap as if he was performing and one handed baseball swing...and as it all happened Bishop's them would hit one of the aforementioned buttons.
PSSSSSLINK!
The mace head would launch out from its three foot handle, reaching an extra two feet on a chain that held the two together. Now with the timing of the attack the ejected mace head would be aimed for the left mid section of the swordsman, his left arm seemed the most available from this swing as about to the gut of the side in a jab or thrust. Not too mention, this was mainly a followed up intended to hit as the shock erupted, he dried to use this to break his opponent down instead of going 'straight for the kill'. Working the man down would give the audience more a show and would look better to the judges one would hope. Not to mention the fact that Bishop was actually into this fight quite a bit already, simply due to this man seeming a bit more mysterious and displayed wizardry with his weapons. By the time the wing would complete the shock would end, and one would think this was in conjunction with the ice stabbing into Bishop, before the opponent would be fully ready to move back.

Thankfully, the swordsman had decided to use ice instead of the more fluidic water for the previous attack. Having sent his energy into the weapon prior to the release, the Halberd was left brimming with a layer of ice coating all over the staff - and not to mention that the opponent's electrical charge was sent from where the icy spikes has struck the flesh.
If there's one thing with ice that electric users should be aware of... Ice doesn't work well in conducting electricity.
An immediate, slight tingling sensation erupted from where his hands held the staff, revealing how the ice was severely hampering the transmission of the charge to the swordsman's body. While it significantly toned down the result of the shock, it did however alert the swordsman to one thing;
"!"
Shock user!
His sense of touch, mainly his arms, stiffened a bit from the effects of the shock. But not too preoccupied with the fact that he's fighting a shock user, the swordsman was more preoccupied with the retaliation that would be coming any moment now, from the opponent's mace. Though the sound of the chains breaking loose gave the swordsman something to be concerned about, as he adjusted his Halberd to face the incoming -
Was the mace that long before?
CLANG!
Something impacted the staff he held, the Halberd's own length being used to intercept and block the swinging blow. Striking close beneath the upper portion of the staff, the swordsman fended the blow off that would have landed onto his left torso/chest section, noticing the chain binding some round object under the flames, being kept moderately away, to his left at bay by his staff. It wasn't hard to figure out that the mace had an extra extend function, now that he saw the trick. But if the weapons - and the opponent's body were all electrical based... The swordsman didn't think any further, already taking a sudden window of opportunity to discharge his second orb right into Bishop's mace. A brief glow followed suit as the orb impacted the opponent's weapon, disappearing from view.
The swordsman would continue on with the step back as planned, yanking the spiked end point of his staff out of the opponent's inner thigh, just as the orb that he discharged onto the foe's mace would - literally, in a split instant - blast off, a high stream of water bursting from behind the mace head, causing the head to fly backwards with quite a bit of force.
Towards Bishop's own unguarded right chest/torso area.
Originally, the orb was intended to be augmented onto his weapons to accelerate or redirect a strike back to target. In this case however, the swordsman instead augmented Bishop's own weapon to redirect the strike - or swing - elsewhere, turning his orb into a guided rocket nozzle to blast off. If it were simple blades or staffs, then perhaps disarming or knocking the weapon out of the foe's grasp would be a more suited role for this idea, but in a less successful manner. The problem here is the chains though.
Those gave good leeway for hurling something back, especially with the chains' flexibility.
To leave that as his parting gift, the swordsman would use that timing to quickly increase the distance between him and the foe, the mace that now became a weapon against the foe being a good enough distraction for the time being.
By then, the swordsman would have raised the end point of the staff to point at the foe's central chest once more once he acquired proper distance, using the length of his Halberd again as an impeding factor to stall or interfere with a possible rush at the swordsman. Water that would have gotten onto his cloak from the discharge would freeze to become ice, revealing areas of glitter where the trail was made by the departing mace head.

OOC: So how did you go from ice spikes at the bottom of the staff to covering the whole staff in ice?
Also, the mace head was move coming around which is why the left arm was the primary target as apposed to your chest.

(( The pulse beforehand. There's no way that steel can have ice burst out from itself without anything on it - so the ice has to be coating the steel beforehand. I also had the orb channeled from the top of the axe down to the bottom part - meaning that I injected my orb onto my weapon, and had the surface coated with ice during its travel downward before the majority of the ice on the bottom burst outwards as spikes. Of course, since the spikes were the primary concern to the attack, I didn't find the need to mention the staff being coated with ice since it was passive - which, now I think about it, I should have mentioned just in case. >_>;
As for the mace head, I assumed that you were attacking the mid left section of my body, since that's where I thought you're aiming...but even if it is aimed for my left arm, I quickly adjusted the position of the Halberd so that the upper portion of the staff - beneath the axe - would be in the way of the swing. Hence, placing the upper portion of the staff in the way of the swing - impact - followed by me discharging my second orb onto your mace head while I made my retreat.
o3o Does it make things a bit clearer now? ))

How unfortunate that both fighters plans would falter. See, Bishop's attack was defended as to where the opponents was a bit less thoughtful. The swordsman would pull the staff back causing what the spiked had done to be a bit worse, but Bishop would move his legs in order to try and not completely slice open his muscles. However something else happened at a sudden moment with an instant blue flash that lasted very little time at all, it was hard to even know it had even happened to begin with.
SCLASH?!
The sound rang out to the audience as the second orb would splash off of the mace head in Bishop's already uncoordinated footing. This hit would cause the thugs body to twist to its right following the mace as it would come near and miss. This wasn't planned but the laws of inertia would save the day for this gangster, but how long would god grace Acheron before casting him to his fate, maybe he was meant to loose this match, but he believed different.
Finishing his shuffling with a 360 in order to regain his footing, Bishop would draw back on the mace head by pressing the same eject button that shot out the mace head to begin with. But this approach was a a bit slower than ejecting it of course. Bishop also in the mean time instead of upping his charge more he would stall as his opponent would back away from Bishop. His eletroplauqes giving off a small voltage of electricity in order to stop his legs bleeding. Those same hazel eyes as before would show a bit more determination as he would speak to his opponent.
"Damn it man! You sure don't waste no time, you just get right to the point. I like that."
Bishop schemed in the short time allowed.
