I know it's a bit early, but I was wondering if any of you have plans for Halloween yet? My bf and I already know what we want to do, it's just a matter of getting everything together by then. I want to go as a Silent Hill nurse, my friend even offered to help me with my costume, hurray! (She was the one who gave me the idea too biggrin ). My bf's is going to be a little harder though, as it requires my lack of sewing skills. He wants to go as Raistlin from the Dragonlance books (the red-robed Raistlin). The cloak he might buy, but I get to (attempt) to sew the robes. I am more than willing to attempt it, as I figure I might learn a thing or two along the way, just a bit daunted because I don't know how complicated the robe will be. Then again, I did sew my kimono, and that was easy peasy. So yes, any plans as of yet?

Actually, yes. My mom let's me have little parties at my house once a month. She really likes my friends, so she's willing to do this every month because we're well-behaved and we clean up after ourselves and never make any big messes anyways. However, we always make sure that the Halloween party is the biggest bash of the year. First year was Harry Potter(Because that was th big movie) and we designed the whole house as Hogwarts and made it into a giant scavenger hunt. When the other, littler kids went home we watched The Ring and turned it into a dance party. Last Halloween was a Vampire theme. Because the big movie that year was Twilight. This year is Masquerade.

Hey, Entervixen. I'm damn curious how he plans to do the eyes for Raistlin. I have never seen hour glass shaped contacts before.
Does he plan to make a Staff of Magius as well?

He actually found a place online that does contacts for it. they look pretty awesome. As for the staff, I'm not sure what his plans are yet.

I am a little old for Halloween, so I just sit at home and wait for the 4 or 5 kids to knock on the front door. Yeah, we don't get many kids in our neighborhood. Last year, they actually moved trick or treating to the 30th, because Halloween fell on a Friday and that conflicted with the high school football game. Can you believe that? They moved Halloween for a football game! Scandalous!

That is so weird. I've never heard of a place moving Halloween like that. Last year I didn't do anything, but this year my friend is hosting a Halloween party, and I hella want to go 'cause she's a good friend of mine.

If my school lets my classmates and i dress up,that'd be cool.We could be the Scooby Gang,since i look like Shaggy w/ my goatee and my friend could be a passable fred.the tricky part would be getting a Velma and a Daphne since i go to an all-boy school...

My friends & I are going to be steampunk this year. 8D I was a Level 5 escapee from Heroes last year. Worst. Costume. Ever. I think I might do masquerade next year. It'd take me forever to make a dress like that. @.@
@Bill: xD Is there no school for the girls in your neighborhood to go? Or you could... get guys to dress up as Velmo & Daffy? *shot*

This will be the first year we have given out candy. Now that we have a house in a really cool neighborhood there will be kids coming round. Maybe I will do a jack o lantern too!

That's cool you're giving out candy this year Uma. I like to, but our neighborhood is less than desirable, so the kids go to the rich part of town, heh.
@Roses: oooh, sounds cool.
