If there is one person that decides the outcome of a whole season, it has to be the main referee. People hate them, and for good reason. rarely do you ever see game changers ever called correctly by referees. Go back to (outside of MLS) the 2006 world cup. In Group E, there was a big game going on between the US and Italy. Tied 1-1 the US has appeared to have scored the eventual game winner, but instead the referee decides it is offsides on Brian McBride, who granted was offsides, but had nothing to do with the play. The US goal is disallowed, and if the correct call had been made Italy (the eventual champions) would have never advanced out of the group stages. So I decided to make this for three main reasons.
1) Referees constantly have the habit of really ticking you off, so why not let off some steam?
2) Opinions of maybe a certain referee and/or his certain assessment of one match, but don't forget about posting any sort of officiating theory you may have.
3) to discuss the quality of MLS refs in general.
4) (my reason) It seems that too often I feel that refs cheat my team out of something and today while watching the Houston-Columbus game I felt that again. I won't get too much into it on this post.

If I ever cross paths with the jerk-off ref who did the home play off game for Houston/Seattle, and did the SLC/Chicago game today, he better run. Fast. He is a terrible ref who doesn't listen to his AR's and needs to be banned from the MLS. He ruined our game, and is waaay too card happy. I can't stand him mad
