The vampiric wish lay upon a slate grey rock, piercing blue eyes gleaming in the moonlight illuminating the valley. His tail slowly wagged back and forth, his head resting on his crossed black paws as he patiently waited for the black, red, and silver female vampire, Eclipse. He and this female were... Close enough to be called friends, both being vampires and sharing the bloodlust that came along with it. He smiled inwardly; Eclipse was quite a charm to be around as well.
Altair rolled on his back, gazing up on his stars. They were beautiful little specks of light dotting the sky indiscriminately. He let out a sigh. He would be able to hear her footfalls when she came...
If she came...

 Eclipse watched her new friend for a few moments before making her way over to him. "Do you have an interest in the stars?" she asked, tilting her head back to look herself before looking down at him.

A wry smiled formed on Altair's face when she spoke, his eyes closed, reopening a few lengthy moments later. "Indeed I do," he replied, rolling over to face her, icy blue eyes looking directly into her red eyes, eyes the colour of blood. He felt a pang of hunger with the thought, but dismissed it with ease. After all, he wasn't too hungry, and he certainly would not attack another vampire like himself. "My name means 'star'." He looked back up at them. "I may detest light almost as much as any other vampire and rival the God of Shadows, but stars... I don't know what it is about them. You can really use your imagination with them, connecting the dots to make various images." He looked back down at her. "It's quite entertaining when was is waiting for a lovely female to arrive for a hunt." He added with a smirk.

"Interesting... I never gave much thought to them... I guess I will have to look at them more closely and more often from now on." She said glancing at the stars again. "So... What are we hunting or does knowing take away the fun?" She asked, her checks glowing a faint red.

Altair smiled, standing up and leaping to her side in what seemed like one graceful motion. "Do you desire anything in particular, my dear?" He asked, blue eyes looking into her red ones. "There's plenty of fresh blood lurking about in darker hours," he added with a toothy grin, fangs gleaming in the moonlight. He noticed the tint of red on her right cheek. Her white tribal marking betrayed her this time, for the black fur on the rest of her face obscured the blush everywhere else. Not that he cared; he found her markings very pleasing to the eye, as were the colours on her fur in general.

She shook her head. "Nothing in particular. What about you? Im sure there is something out here that you favor the taste of." He was staring at her again. She tried to force the blushing down to a minimal amount. His eyes sure were nice though.. as were the colors and pattern of his fur. "He must be an excellent hunter." she thought. "He looks as though he could blend in with most surroundings.."

Altair cocked his head to once side, contemplating what he was in the mood for. "I'm not quite sure, ma-" He cut himself off, chuckling lightly. "I forgot you prefer to be referred to with your name rather than formal pronouns." He turned his gaze to the valley around them, scanning it carefully. "I think I would like a nice hunt, as in whatever we come across. Are you okay with that, Eclipse?"

She nodding. "Thats fine with me.. In a way, doing a hunt like this holds a bit of a surprise.. You could run into anything..." her voice trailed off as she pondered what they would run into. Snapping back into reality she blinked a few times. "Uh... Er... Ready?" The blush was back.
