Kayla's tail flicked out behind her as she walked down the road. She felt good, her last meal was a fun challenge. She was satisfied at the moment but if more prey happened to find it's way toward her, well, who was she to pass it up? With a grin on her face, Kayla walked the street, a eerie tune being hummed from her lips. She kept her senses sharp as she listened to screams.

With her bat familiar swirling above her head, Amethyst stalked the city hoping to come across a good fight. She held tightly onto her dagger that hardly ever left her side and carefully scanned the area for any creatures of concern. Oh did she love the darkness of the night, but she despised those that corrupted it. With a bit of anger and determination in her eyes, she spotted another figure coming towards her.
The calmness of the other being and the odd tune it hummed made her weary. She decided to stand still until it came close enough for her to get a good look.

Kayla paused in walking as her tune came to an end. She could smell the blood of another only a few steps away. Sometime was odd about the smell to her, while it was not the smell of another vampire te smell was different from that of any mortals she had ever encountered.
She looked toward the owner, grin still on her face as she took in the other. "Well, hello there girlie," she said in a greeting of sorts, looking at the dagger the other had. "Looking for a fight, are ya?" she grinned, her claws extracting. She had yet to meet anyone who seemed to be so well prepared and she was excited. Even if the other's blood smelled tainted she couldn't help the feeling of excitement at the idea of a challenge. Kayla loved a challange, especially of this sort.
She help her paws ready to strike, she didn't have a weapon like the other and she knew when it was best to observe and lt the other make the first move.

"I suppose you could say that," Amethyst snarled at the vampire. She ran a finger along the edge of the blade, allowing the smallest trickle of blood to drip down to the tip. She changed her stance to one that was ready to pounce, but held off for a moment before doing so.
"Your kind are abusing this night," she called out to the other. "And my kind does not appreciate that one bit. Oh well, it gives me a chance to get out and do what I do best." Amethyst grins, practically mimicking the other. She braced herself before sprinting towards the female.
Darting left then right, she attempted to catch her dagger in the vampire's side as well as scratch with her claws on her upper arm.

"Abusing the night? How so?" Kayla spoke before being forced to dodge the dagger aimed at her. She managed to miss getting hit with the dagger but the other's claw still caught her arm. She did not allow the injury to distract her though. She used her claws to attempt a scratch at the other's face, hoping to catch one of her eyes. One of her paws attempted to grab the paw that held the dagger. She knew the tricks of this game. If she managed to get that dagger she thought perhps the upper hand would be hers.
Using her prey's, or enemy's would be more accurate in this case, stregths against them was one of the best ways to win anything.

The vampire's claws did manage to scratch Amethyst's face, but only just missed her eye. Blood dripped down from her brow and she blinked rapidly to keep it out of her eye. As the other grabbed for her dagger, she pushed it forward, trying to slice into her opponent's paw. The enemy may have gotten a hold of her paw, but she would not let go of the dagger without a harsh fight.
As they froze for just a moment, locked in this awkward stance, she growled at the other. "Using other undead filth as an excuse to attack is low, even for such vile creatures as yourselves."
Amethyst attempted another attack with her other set of claws, aiming for the face or neck of the vampire. Again she had to blink to keep blood from her eye, causing her a slight disadvantage.

The dagger sliced Kayla's paw but she didn't back down. To her this was fun, it had been a while since she had this much of a challange. She was supprised someone other then another full-blooded vampire could even draw blood from her.
"I don't need an excuse," she said with a grin, doing her best to ignore the pain n her hand. She was annoyed that her aim was of, she didn't scratch the other's eye but the next best thing. Watching as the other blinked repeatidly in order to keep her vision blood-free Kayla was able to find the time to attack.
When more blood ran down and toward the other's eyes Kayla attempted to strike the other's right side, her cheek still getting scratched by the other's claw but it would all be worth it if her plan worked. At the last possible second she switched the target of her attack.

Amethyst yelped as another attack had successfully scratched her. This time she felt the pain just beside her eye, catching the very corner. More blood trickled down her face. Her vision had blurred which was certainly a great annoyance. The vampire had managed to gain the advantage over her, at least for the moment.
"Vile!" she yelled at her enemy, just as she struggled to free her knife-paw from the other. With a quick movement, the Zamphir attempted to kick her foot out and slide it underneath the other's feet, hoping to knock her down to the ground. At the same time, she twisted her body to one side to loosen the vampire's grip on her dagger and make her lose her balance.

Kayla managed to avoid the feet attempting to knock her down but in the process lost her grip on the dagger, the twisting of the other's body throwing her off slightly as she was jerked toward the other for only a moment.
Regaining her balance she quickly jumped back into a stance with her claws ready to strike. She held still for moment. No longer having any control over her opponates weapon she was once more at a disadvantage. She moved her foot back slightly once more an bumped it into a pole or stick of some sort. Perhaps it was something broken off of a machine. Either way she now had a weapon, she just had to wait for the perfect time to grab it withut tipping the other off on her plan. "I can't say I've had this much fun in a while," Kayla grinned. "You definantly are fun to play with."

When she was able to stand up straight, Amethyst wiped her brow and flicked the blood off of her paw. She listened to the words of the other before growling. "I'm not something to play with," she mocked, "but rather something you should fear." It was true that Zamphirs were not as strong as vampires, but they worked hard to be able to match them in combat. Thus, Amethyst thought she was a damn good fighter and loved to hunt these undead creatures.
After taking a deep breath, which was just as much of a rest that she needed, she blinked away the last bit of blood still flowing. Then she charged at her enemy, dagger held tight in her paw and claws ready to slash at her skin. "To hell with you!" she blurted out, attempting to strike her.
((I do believe it is, which makes this post 4 for me as well.))

Kayla stepped away, attempting to dodge the other's dagger. She clenched her teeth together when she felt it dig into her arm. Fighting was one of her favorite games. To Kayla that was all this was, a game, one which she was determined to win.
The dagger dug in her arm, Kayla attempted to use her lower paws to kick the pole up. She grasped it in one of her paws, noticing only momentarily that it was a piece of a child's broken toy. Despite it's toy-like nature it was still metal. She swing it with all her strength at the other, hoping it would be enough to knock her out, or at the very least give her a better opening.

Amethyst cackled as her dagger managed to pierce vampire's skin. With her moment of relief and a mixture of sweat and blood messing with her vision, she did not notice the enemy grab the weapon that she had. When it suddenly appeared out of the corner of her eye, the Zamphir managed to back up just enough to tug her dagger out of the other female's arm. But when she straightened again, she hadn't realized the other had swung the metal around.
Unfortunately for her, the metal had hit her square in the temple causing a horrible pain to rush through her head. She quickly turned her body and attempted to claw at the enemy's face once more before sprinting off into the shadows again. Her head ached horribly and she knew she would not be able to continue the fight at this time, so therefore she retreated, needing to rest.

Very nice fight, I enjoyed reading it! I think the vampire got the better of the Zamph, though, so I'm giving Reia a 5 and Evil a 4
