After her last run in with a monster, Danika crept along the shadows more cautiously than before. The glow she gave off was completely hidden for both her eyes and her charms. She clutched her wounded arm and whimpered, just barely audible to anything nearby. The bite was still pretty fresh, but she realized her magic must have helped it to heal properly.
Now she tiptoed through alleyways, carefully scanning an area from all sides before moving on. This time she wouldn't let another catch her completely by surprise, especially not from above.

Athanasios moved silently and alone through the small town. He has planned on hunting with his son Marq, but the other vampire was no where in sight. Which, if you ask Athanasios was probably better, since Marq did tend to be a damn messy eater and frightened their pray away most of the time. Yes, tonight Athanasios was determined to eat and eat well.
Lets see what delectable treats we can find around this part of this pathetic excuse for a town he mused to himself before heading toward the alleyways. They where the dark, lonely parts of the town, perfect hunting ground for any vampire. After hunting for only a few minutes, unmistakable scent of blood found its way to his senses causing the vampire to purr with delight. This night, it seemed, was a good night for hurting. He moved swiftly towards the blood smell "Well l what is a nice girl like you doing in a dark dangerous place like this?" he asked the pink Majerae he was now standing behind.

Danika whipped around and glared at whoever was behind her. This time, at least, the figure seemed pleasant. "I'm trying to get out of the city," she mumbled, unaware of who to trust during this mass chaos. She kept her eyes glued to the being as she slowly stepped backwards, still clutching her wound. "I need to get out of the city," she repeated, then turned around quickly and darted forward. If she could only get down another alley, she had hoped he wouldn't follow her. Maybe he was slow like some of the creatures out there. Maybe he wouldn't know which direction to turn. Maybe...
Just then, she slipped and almost lost her balance, falling forward and splashing in a puddle. She scrambled to her feet and started off again, this time slower than before as her legs starting aching.

The vampire looked the pink colored faekat over, after she turned towards him. Well she's nothing very cute looking, but she does smell delicious. Looks can be deceiving. Lets just see how this little game plays out he thought as he looked her up and down. He smirked slightly as she repeated her words and seemed to be frighted of something, other then him. Not that he thought she was frightened of him, mind you. He wasn't scary looking to regular faes at all. In fact, he could blend in easily with them.
Athanasios watched her retreating back as she darted down another alleyway. He took a moment to pull his long pink hair back and tie it into a loose ponytail behind his neck. After all, his new found pry was wounded and it wasn't' as if she was really going to escape him. Then he moved swiftly to catch up with her. "If you wish to get out of this city, then I suggest you try another route. I heard that there are some Faekats in that general direction. I would be happy to help you, find a safe way out" he purred out to her.

The majerae gasped as the male had suddenly reappeared. She didn't expect that in the slightest. Sighing, Danika decided to trust him enough to take his word about the way ahead. Clutching her wounded arm, she thought about her position and the only option she saw. "Alright," she said quietly. "If you know a safe way, will you show me? I don't expect you to accompany me the whole way, but if you want to help, feel free."
Although she wanted to trust him, she definitely kept her guard up. There was no telling of who she could or could not trust in this god forsaken city right now, and she knew it. But having a companion would be useful should something else try to attack her.

A slight smirk graced Athanasios face, as soon as his 'little snack' agreed to have him take her safely out of the city. He was also most pleased that he didn't have to persuaded her in an uncouth and ruff manor, well yet anyways. Playing the rescue happened to be rather thrilled, to him.
"It would be rude and ungentlemanly of me to escort you only partway, so I will do it fully. Besides, it seems as though there are a quiet a few dangerous faekats looming around town, this night," he informed her as he glanced around as if he was actually looking around for anyone who dangerous and attempt to attack them. "You are also injured, though not too bad by the looks of it, but still. I wouldn't feel right leaving you until we got out of the city. Now come quickly." he added before offering his paw for her to grab.
( Yay I know no fight yet... XD I don't want him just biting her though that would be silly)

Danika listened to every word the male said, taking it all in slowly. The darkness could easily play tricks on her of which she was well aware. While they talked, she constantly looked about, making sure no dangers were lurking nearby. When the male mentioned her injuries, she consciously covered her arm more. As afraid as she certainly was, she decided his words sounded genuine enough for her to go with him. "Alright," she whispered. Carefully she slipped her paw into his and let him lead her away.
