RP LOG "DO YOU FEAR DEATH?" PART 2!
Davy Jones looks around for his hat, finally getting the seaweed off of it.
Melodie nestled under his coat, having pulled it around her to keep from sea's chilly breeze. She felt at home there, laying on the shore. She even peeked over to watch him look for his hat, smiling a little. "Finally got that seaweed off eh?"
He smirked slightly, putting his hat on. "Aye and it looks like I might not get my coat back....yet...." Davy goes over to Melodie, hugging her close.
Melodie kissed him soft and tenderly before snuggling in his arms and his coat. She grinned and shook her head mildly. "Nope. Not for a while."
"Glad ye like it, though I may have a question to ask ye...how do ye feel about traveling through the Worlds?"
She sat up slowly, keeping the coat close. "Worlds?" She tilted her head just a little, looking puzzled as to what he meant.
"Aye, this world and the next...I have to travel between both to fullfill my duties to transport souls from the sea to the other side...."Davy looked worried, not wanint his newfound love to be seperated by his duties.
She started to play with her hair, frowning in thought. "What about your heart?" It layed within the chest she kept hidden... She didn't trust her family well enough to keep it safe...she wasn't sure about the rest of the herd either. It remains hidden but if I go with you I do not want to leave it behind."
She nipped at her lower lip wondering.
Davy nodded, kissing her lightly. "So be it...I do not want my duties to transport souls to the other side tear ye from me..."
"So we both go? Taking the heart with us?"
"Aye...as if I leave ye behind." Davy then picked her up, coat and all as he started to carry her to his ship.
Melodie grins, slipping her arms around his neck, under his tentacles. "I wonder if there's an easier way of keeping your heart safe..."
"Cant put it back in me...the hole where I tore it out of never heals.." Davy replied sadly as memories of that event visit his mind once more.
"We won't put it back in...We'll.. just make it easier to keep with us is all." she ran over her mind trying to figure who would be the best one to go to with this scenerio. Most of her family were dark arts or illusionist or weapon masters. not much good for trying to make something alive into something portable.
"Or...we could just keep it in our cabin on my ship..."
Melodie thought about that. It seemed simpler and much easier to just keep it with them in the cabin. After all..who's gonna come after it with everyone there?
She nodded, playing with his beard. "Okay. We keep it with us on the ship."
Davy smiled, some of his tentacled apperance morphed back slowly into what he used to look like.
She smiled up at him, content with both his appearances. It was sometimes nice having the Seer ability she had...other times it bugged her. She rested her head on his shoulder, pulling the coat up more but keeping one hand always in his beard be yet hair or tentacles.
"Where will our first world be?"
"The World inbetween the living and dead, it feels more Im needed there now...."He held her close as he transported themselves to his cabin.
"Oh.. my world of gray." She smirked before wiggling down and slipping his coat on. He wasn't getting it back for a long time. She slipped over towards the window, with only one concern in her mind. The ship has to dive under water at some point...
"The ship has to go underwater to travel sometimes...right?"
"Its taken care of...if ye place the pearl necklace on ye, it give ye the ability to breath underwater."
The organ stood in the middle of the cabin with the large, beautiful bed on the far left with the carved kraken along its side and bedposts.
She withdrew the strand of pearls, looking at it twinkle and shimmer with something not mortal. She fastened it around her neck, frowning as she didn't get it quite yet before success was allowed.
Having never been to sea before, she was a little uncertain how everything would go...yet she was a big girl. She could handle anything...right? After all, she was her father's daughter. Strong blood flowed in her veins like sweet music that a siren would sing.
She glanced around the cabin, taking a mental picture of how everything was, before she seated herself on the bench to the organ, facing it and running her hands along the keyboard as if she was memorizing it by touch.
After placing the chest carefully in his cabin, Davy walked over to Melodie as he hummed. "This instrament has seen many a sad tune....for now on it shall play a different type of tune.." He sat down next to her, playing an eerie familiar song.
She listened quietly to the melody he played on the organ. Watching his hands move across the keys, she moved her own hands in tune, adding to the song to make their own.
