 Theory and practice collide here, where seated officers (sometimes even captains!) take their precious time to show you the ropes for some of the more than basic combat and kidou in a dynamic way...actual combat! Classes transition right into training, sparring matches between fellow students, and the most talented students get to take on the instructor and are sometimes brought along on real missions. Kiddy gloves, training wheels, whatever you call them, they're off now. Try not to die, because more than your grade is on the line here everyday...but at the academy your grade is just as important as your life right? Right?? Only available to top students with recommendation from a seated officer, as approved by a captain. Captains can of course recommend students themselves.

michi stood outside for a moment, catching her breath before pushing, the door open and entering the room, " here sir" she said looking around the room, there was hardly anyone in only a hand full of people " umm can i ask one thing first" she said as she had finally caught her breath " i never received my basic katana upon arriving on the grounds" she stated to him, it was true every student received a basic katana, that was to remain in there room, during classes, the didn't want inexperienced students having there first fight with such deadly weapons, that why the trained with the wooden swords a god 80% of the time, and if she was going to be going on missions to gain experience, then she would hope she wasn't going to have the depend on the wooden practice sword
((i was always told by my sempi's that my kick's where deadly and i used to push them back most the time and the told it got hard to spar with me when i came back from japan XD ))

Greed came out of her shadow. An eerie thing only he can really do, or more like the only one who has done it so far. "Well.. The academy, is none of my concern. Kisukes the one in charge of it, so you would have to ask him." He walked around her until he was in front of her. He pulled out a katana and handed it to her, he then walked away a few steps, and stabbed a dagger deep into the floor in front of him. "Come attack me", he said getting up and putting his arms up, making a T with his body. "Now show me your skill on a blade", Greed gave off a Intimidating look as he waited to be attacked.
  (interesting, I was always commented to being stronger than i looked, but my only strength was dodging and kicking. fighting with my stepdad is why i developed skills in dodging rather than blocking, since if i tried blocking his attacks, id probably hurt myself more than if i didnt XD)

as michi received the katana, she was surprised to find it a lot heavier than she had first through, holding it in her left hand, she placed it in it place to the left of her body, since she was right handed, "Now show me your skill on a blade" she herd greed state giving off an air of invincibility about him, she slide the top of her uniform of her shoulders and tightened the wraps " just in case.... i can't let it get damaged any more" she stated to him, slowly she drew the blade, as she moved into a backward leaning stance, her left hand out for balance as drew her right arm back above her head, so the her blade was a mere millimeters form her check,as her eyes began to gloe a pale blue, and er skinned cooled.
taking a few steps forward, she drew the sword down spinning the sword so that it swept past the left side of her body then the right and with each step she took closer the faster the motion got, but on her last step she spun her whole body as she did in her spin kick attack from earlier, the only difference this time was that she she used the momentum to slash horizontally in front of her
((true... but i've never been one for defending, if i get in the fast enough and go hard enough i'd do enough damage to where i wouldn't have to even bother about evading XD ))

Greed grinned.As she came at him he moved his leg. The on the side the attack was coming from, over his dagger. he moved it first to the side of the dagger opposite to the attack then over the dagger toward the side of the attack, and placed his foot firmly down on the ground. his arm up over his leg at shoulder length, right next to his cheek. Surprisingly, her blade stopped right before being over his leg, as if it were stopped by an invisible string. "oops, My favorite rule of combat.... heheheh".
He smiled softly as he moved the same leg past under her sword and as if pulling a string with it, pulls his leg up. His dagger comes off the ground following the motion of his leg, and flying around her sword as if it were attached to a string. Wrapping around it, until it was basically hanging off her sword. "Have more than one hidden ace, and have flexible attacks so that your enemy is always surprised with your next move". He pulled his hand, the one on the side of the attack away from his body, and her sword moved as well, away from him.
Greed then with his other hand took out another dagger and moved to lunge it into her stomach. Before it got too close however, he turned it so that it would hit her with the hilt and not the blade.
(lol i remember doing a spin kick as my favorite kick, i just spam one kick, mawachi geti, and they just move back knowing the distance needed to dodge it, but then once they are too used to it, I land in closer with one of those kicks and spin kick. BOOM usually in the face... well back then, i cant kick that high with the spin kick anymore, less do it correctly.... T.T... my bros too much of a p***y to spar with me T.T)

he had blocked and countered her attack easily, and the next thing she new was the hilt of his dagger i her gut, she lent forward, dropping to her knees as she clutched her stomach with on hand, slipping her free hand inside her hakama pants for a split second, before she crossed her other hand around her, letting her forehead rest against the floor, it hurt and she was trying to catch her breath " that was dirty" she whispered to herself, taking a few seconds to absorbed the pain.
" BUT I LIKE IT" she yelled, shooting into a sitting position, as she throw 3 small darts at him., they where only meant for a distraction, but if any where to hit it would be a bonus, grabbing the katana, she managed to flip backwards, as she attached a small sheath like case over it's hilt, securing tightly so it wouldn't come off as she wielded the it, she leaped ah him, trusting the blade forward, taking a step closer. throwing 2 more small darts she held, she got even closer to him, hitting a small trigger she had attached to the katana's hilt, allowing a small blade to show, ash she thrusted it back towards him. so only hoped he would stop it, cause she knew she wouldn't be able to

"Well hollows wont play it fair.. and im an assassin" she then got up and threw her darts.. he leaned back and fell on the floor, like if he were drunk.
He then got up, "Hiding tricks are we", Greed moved his metallic arm and blocked the darts then with his dagger blocked both attacks "interesting, you have managed to almost suprise me, my snipers eye is very sharp" he then threw both his daggers at her as he jumped away from her.

michi, pouted at her failed attempts, but didn't have to much time to pound and think of some think else, before he had already made his attack, throwing two daggers directly at her, bring her katana up she managed, to block the on oh the right of her, as the other dagger raced pasted her, slicing deeply into her arm, it stung, and michi dropped her katana, as she dropped to one knee. Blood was running down her arm, and she took a good look at hit, it was a clean cute, which meant it would heal fast, puling a needle, and some thread from under her hakama's she threaded the needle through, before piercing her own skin, sticking the skin back together, with very fine and small stitches.
once the wound had been stitched together, she undid half of her body wrap, ripping it and tightening the remainder that covered her chest, leaving her stomach exposed and the scar showing, a bruise was beginning to form from the hit she had taken before, grabbing the wrap she had torn off, she wrapped it tightly around the wound on her arm, picking up the dagger which now laid on the floor, she sliced a nick in the right side of her red hakama's before tearing it at the knee, her uniform was wrecked any way so this didn't make a difference she would just have to get a new one, ripping the material more she turned her back to greed, as she fiddle with some thing before wrapping a length of it around her arm, grabbing her katana, she stood back up turning to face him, a devilish smile crossed her face " don't stop just cause of this" she said softly to him " i've had worse" she had subconsciously traced the outline of the scare.
a second later she charged at him, running full speed as she got down as low as she could, slashing diagonally upwards, before doing a spin kick, her right foot planted firmly to the ground as her hakama hem covered her foot, sonce she was aloud to play dirty she was sure it wouldn't matter that she had slipped a dagger under her foot she was kicking with, she had wedged it between her foot and the sandle fastening it with the material she had ripped off her uniform

".... Hope you don't plan on doing all that while your in middle of a battle", Greed said as he waited for her to finish. When she cam at him he moves to the side dodging her attack with her sword, and when he noticed the dagger he smiled "you don't get it... my daggers are connected to a thin metallic wire. which are part of it" Greed pulls on this string and throws her to the opposite side of the room, he pulls the strings and his daggers fly back into his hands. "Oh well", he threw both daggers again at her. "This is the form of my zanpactou, and beleive me.. I still have many hiden aces to show"

michi was thrown a great distance across the other side of the room, and many of the other students that where in the room, stop to look, hitting the floor hard, she rolled a few time before springing to her feet, but there was no time to think "DANCE" some one yelled in the back of her mind, as she pulled a dancing fan out some how managing to catch both his dagger as she closed the fan again, she didn't realize she was holding her breath, but she had only just managed to to his dagger that where only centimeters from hitting her.
"Move outside to the edge of the lake" the voice in her head said, she was so confused by it, she knew it wasn't hers 'could he just be playing some kind a trick' she thought to herself, but then the voice laughed " quickly girl you don't have much time", and with that michi bolted outside, heading straight to the lake's edge, location always had its advantages, 'but why the lake' she though, but then it hit her, or so she thought if she cold just get him in the water it might slow down his altered limbs, as long as the got wet all she would have to do is get close enough to him, and breath on him.
if she was to explain that to someone she new it would make no sense, but michi was very different to most, whenever she got pumped up or was in a really good mood, her body temp would drop to temperature that would kill a normal person, even her breath was a below a zero, an average person body temp was around 36ºc where michi's on the other hand was and extremely low of 21ºc, but michi was so distracted with figuring out why the lake, she didn't even notice that the water had risen covering both her feet, not until she felt something grab her foot, looking down she was confused, until it pulled her.
michi hit the ground fast and hard, dropping her katana in the process, she didn't even have time to scream, as it dragged her under and out to the bottom of the lake, she had only been under not even a second before the whole lake, froze over, she was trapped in the ice unable to move or breath, and there was something coming closer to her 'i'm very impatient michi, and i can't wait any longer..... you should know who i am" a voice said, before appearing in front of her, the woman was moving within the ice, leaning forwards the woman whispered a name into her ear " but before you can use me..... i'm gonna take over and have a little fun of my own" she said slipping inside of michi's body, gaining full control of it.
, above the lake was still frozen, and smooth good enough to ice-skate over, but it wasn't like that for long as something burst through the surface, causing the ice to shatter and melt quickly turning back into the lake that it was. a strange girl stood at the edge of the lake, a white bridal kimono and a masquerade mask, where what she wore, but if you where to get closer they would notice, the torn and battered academy uniform, but something wasn't right, the bridal kimono had so much detail to it, yet it was see through, as a sleeve flapped gentaly in the breeze ice fragments glistened, it was made of complete ice, she it moved like it was a fine delicate material, michi's hair was straightly dripping wet as small ice partial's fell from the end's of her hair.
" i just had to come out and play for a bit" the woman said in a voice that was not michi's " lets have some fun" she said giving greed the go ahead to attack first

"......." Greed watched as she ran, pulling his daggers back to his hands. "Running is so....pointless?", He saw the lake and for a second hesitated before shaking his head. "Water... just dont get in" He mumbled right as she went under, 'hell no im not getting in... but somethings not right, she left her katana.. could she be.. drowning??'. He rushed toward the lake but stopped as he saw the water turn to ice, then took a few steps back. "So she was faking it?", He concluded, putting his daggers in an attack position.
Greed remembered his past, the tricks he pulled, the ways he fought. fooling the enemy and gaining an advantage, it was reminding himself of when he had first joined the Gotei.Greed was then proved wrong when she came out, he notice something strange about her, not only in appearance. ".. Could it be?", He threw his daggers at her again, but this time they split. Each one into 10 thinner daggers, which all flew toward her joints, each one attached to a metallic wire which was connected to Greeds fingers.
Greed now wore a grim expression, he knew that there was something wrong with her, '.. could she also be a vizzard?' Greed pondered this alot. It would be dangerous for her to be one, and not be able to control it. He thought that if that were the case, he would definitely have to make her part of his squad.
(sorry if i take too long to post ive been.. doing other things sweatdrop )

the attacks where fast, and the woman laughed, she was 3 times faster than what Michi had been before, she was a zanpakutou after all, but possessing ones master was unheard of, and extremely dangerous, michi's body wouldn't be able to handle the physical strain it caused, she watched as the daggers split, and let out a laugh, she span on the spot as frozen droplets, flew in all direction from her wet hair, the the small and sharp ice, hitting his daggers, before running at greed, slipping past his guard, up and under his arms, so that it would look like he was embracing her " you would have to forgive, michi's hesitation for close range combat..... past trauma with men" the woman said before aiming, a elbow to the stomach, she turned and flipped back, in hopes that she would kick him up under the chin " but i on the other hand don't... allow me to introduce myself.... i'm hanasha, Michi's zanpakutou.... and i would like to thank you for wearing my master down.... it made it much easier to posses her on our first meeting" she said bowing at him, suddenly she dropped to her knees " poor girl doesn't have enough energy left" she said with a pitted laugh, before retreating back into her own world, leaving michi laying soaking wet on the ground as the frozen mask melted from her face
(( doing OTHER things eeey lol ... the vizard thing gave me an idea for later hahaha much much later... how scary that was just her zanpakutou))

Greed was startled to see her stop his daggers, "She didn't even bother dodging them like a normal person... interesting". Greed was surprised at her speed and how easily she went under his guard, but for him no matter were you are, he was the one with the upper hand. Greed took the elbow knowing it would do much damage to him in the first place, but when she tried her little kick flip, he simply grabbed her leg and threw her back. He stood his ground, but when she bowed he couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Wait your her zanpactous spirit??? interesting, I never knew they could do that." Then she hit the floor and her mask melted off, Greed went over and picked her up, and took her back inside the room. He quickly found a place to sit her and after putting her down he took out his captains jacket and placed it on her to keep her warm at least. Greed then went outside and pulled on his string to get his daggers back, " tch..Really wanted to show off my bloody marionette move... oh well".
Greed put the daggers away and re-entered the classroom. "Troublesome girl.... but hey, I'm a troublesome guy", He walked to his desk and sat down looking at Michi and then turned to the class. "OK class get with your sparring partners today, tomorrow we talk about strategy", With that the students all got with their sparring partners and went outside. two stayed inside and sparred in front of Greed so he could evaluate them. unfortunately for them, in the end he was paying more attention to Michi than the students, pondering what to do with her.
(HEY WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT WHEN I SAY OTHER THINGS AHH AHH??!??! >.< as for vizzard stuff.. vizzards are allowed u.u XP)

michi lay limp in greed's arms as he carried her back inside, it was embarrassing, but she had no energy to protest , or even keep her eyes open, she could hear greed giving the students direction, and even assessing some, but she was tired and it wasn't to long before sleep over took her.

"Michi listen to your father" her mother said, as michi and her two older brothers sat at the table, both boy where wide eyed with shock " i will not marry him.... you can't make me do this" she said protesting the request her parents had made " you will do as you are told" her father said in a serious tone, one she had never seen him use before " so all this years you both taught me to follow my heart and find some one nice and so on was juts a load a crap, just because this noble old fart wants to remarry.... no i won't and you can't make me" michi said storming off to her room, her mother not to far behind her, closing the door as she sat with her daughter " michi, your getting older now" he mother started and michi turned her back " this is a great opportunity... you'll be able to eat as much as you want when you want" her mother said trying to lighten up the mood a bit " this isn't about food" michi bit back, her mother sighed " you've always been gifted with spiritual energy even more so then your brothers... and i know how much you love your food, but where holding you back i know you restrain yourself from eating more the hiroshi, and you know your brothers don't eat much more than myself" she said with a soft laugh " leave me alone" michi said burring her head under her pillow as her mother did as was asked, michi let out an annoyed scream.
later that night she laid in bed awake, waiting until she knew every one would be asleep, before she crept out of her room, carrying a bag of cloths. entering the kitchen she grabbed a few things, before taking her fathers savings, and leaving. she had walked for day's and even meet another traveler which kept her company, he was in his early 20's, and he was good comany, some one she had come to trust, until one night at the ruokin 10 mile from her home.
michi had organized a separate room from him, as she had done at other places they had stayed, they had there meal later that night, and he had even let michi drink sake, which had gone straight to her head, he had even helped her back up to her room, bidding her good night as the both laughed at her clumsiness, and it was later that, night that she was taken, beaten abused and rapped over a period of weeks but some how managing to escape.
she had ran none stop for two days putting as much distance as she could between where she had been and herself, but not knowing where she was made this a lot harder, she had no money, no food, no clothes and no where to sleep, and over the next few months got harder for a fourteen year old to find out she's pregnant, nearly killed her but she had managed to find some where to work and stay, and even a small meal, she made made up en excuse about her pregnancy, saying that her husband had been murdered.
nothing else was asked about her past, and michi carried out her work as a seamstress in quiet, but late one night as she sat with the elderly woman, who owned the the small shop, she went into labor, and the pain kicked in,16 hours she it took, 16 long hours, before it was nearly over, but that's when things got complected, when he walked in, the guy she had been traveling with those months ago, michi was extremely stress, and in a lot of pain, the mid wife cursed and said something to the man, as the elderly woman, sat by michi holding her hand tight, he swore and pulled out a small dagger, slicing michi open, the scream was haunting, as she fought to keep away, but she was certain she herd a cry, before every thing went black.
the next day when she awoke, in pain and drowsy the mid wife informed her about the small girl being still born, she was stunned, and confused, as the elderly shop owner attended to her and it wasn't untill a few weeks later that she found out the truth, the reason why had happened over those longs months. It turned out that she wasn't the only girl who had been taken, there where a few other, only pure born souls which where a rarity in rukongai, but by forcing those girl to give birth they would be able to use the children to black mail noble family who where know for there visits to the red light districts
michi was beside herself, and joined the academy when she was well enough to be up and about.

michi' was shaking as cool steam emitted from her body, and the captain hatori was nearly frozen solid " WHERE IS SHE" michi yelled waking from her dream, confused and disorientated, but it was now darker and she had no idea where she was or what had happened
(( ah you know, a bite of THIS and a bite or THAT, and you know a little more of THIS, at least you can't see the hand gestures, hahaha sorry can't help it my mind's been in the gutter for a while now))
