How To Play
The overall idea behind this game is to align yourself to the proper aura (light or dark) depending on what the Val'kyr are trying to do.
REMEMBERFjola Lightbane is LIGHT ALIGNEDEydis Darkbane is DARK ALIGNED.At the begining of the game, the Val'kyr begin with 150 total Health points. They share a health pool.
At the begining of the game, everyone starts with a Light or Dark alignment.
I will post a list of all the players with their current light/dark alignment.
Then the game will begin! I will announce the start of a round, and the game will progress until there is a winner: The Val'kyr, or the Players (see next post).
RoundsEvery round will have Two main parts:
1.
Energy Spheres - Six Energy spheres (three dark and three light) will be sent out and strike players. I will randomize a player for each orb to strike.
* If an orb of the SAME ALIGNMENT hits you, nothing happens.(ie, if a dark orb hits a dark-aligned player).
* If an orb of the OPPOSITE ALIGNMENT hits you, you die, and are out of the game. (ie, if a dark orb hits a light-aligned player).
I will make one post per orb.

Special AbilityAfter SIX orbs have been sent out (keep an eye out after I have sent out my 6th orb!)
I will announce that one of the Val'kyr is using a special ability!
Each of the Val'Kyr has an option of Two special abilities.
Only ONE Of them will use an ability per turn, but you don't know which one it will be or which of their two abilities they will use.
Energy Blast I will announce that "X is Charging an Energy Blast". This is the val'kyr's attack!
You have until I make another post saying that "X shoots out a beam of [Dark/Light] Energy" to change alignment/aura to the proper one IF YOU NEED TO.
Their energy blast will hit EVERYONE. In order to survive (and continue playing) you have to make sure that you are aligned to the
SAME alignment as the val'kyr that is attacking.
If you are already the proper alignment, you DO NOT NEED TO POST.
Healing ShieldI will announce that "X Has Thrown up a Defensive Shield".
If this happens, then in concept, everyone has to make sure that they are the
OPPOSITE ALIGNMENT of the val'kyr that has put up the shield, so that they can focus their attack on her before she is able to heal herself and her sister.
If more than 25% of the remaining players are NOT aligned properly by the time I post "HER SHIELD DROPS", then the val'kyr gain 30 Life back. (This will not go above their maximum (starting) health).
If you are not the right alignment, you DO NOT DIE. However, your allies might be upset at you if the Val'kyr succeed in healing themselves

If you are already the proper alignment, you DO NOT NEED TO POST.
** END OF THE ROUND **
I will make a post of the survivors, and how much remaining health the Val'kyr has. They begin with
150 LIFE.
For each Player that survives until the end of the round (after their special ability goes off) 1 point of damage is subtracted from the Val'ky's health pool. If all 40 people are still alive, 40 damage is done to them, etc. The Val'kyr share a health pool.
In Sum:
You can ONLY switch alignments between the warnings for the Val'kyr special abilities and when the ability goes off.
((if you try to change alignment at some other point, your post will be ignored)).
In fact, this is the ONLY time you will ever need to post.
If you do not need to change your alignments, you DO NOT NEED TO POST.
If you accidentally switch to the WRONG alignment, if you can get another post in switching back before their special ability goes off, then you may.
DO NOT EDIT YOUR POSTS. Anyone caught editing their posts will be both eliminated from this game, and suggested action against the player will be reccomended.
Damage is dealt to the Val'Kyr after each "Round"
Then a new round begins. I will start sending out energy orbs at random players. IF they switched alignments during the special ability phase, then that is their new alignment for the following orb phase.
