I just joined an eight man/woman band. I'm on vocals/cow bell/maracas/triangle(I know, I'm super talented.) I'm wondering how it's going to work considering everyone in the band has different tastes in music.

My (young) uncle might be starting a band, and that's pretty much the position I'd be filling. I fail at playing instruments XD Anyway, congrats, and it sounds like fun. People with different styles can work well together, and you can come up with some pretty awesome things if that happens.
