User ImageWil was not amused. She left the showers fully changed into her uniform, somehow still looking pressed and perfect, her hair without a strand out of place, and boxing gloves hung around her neck. She was headed straight for the student counsel room to have a bit of a 'throw down' if you would with the dear treasurer. She'd met up with a woman that....well just thinking of the rather buxom lady she flushed a little. The woman was purely shameless with her....'goodies' as the woman had mentioned. And yes, it had come up. Frankly her eyes couldn't help but be drawn to the monstrous mounds of flesh laid out with rather drapey clothing that didn't do its best. In all honesty she'd been a little curious if the clothing would slink down to show a nipp--BAM!

Ouch, walking and heavy thought, never good idea.

She rubbed her nose and gave the offending wall a fleeting scornful look before she hunched her shoulders and walked off, thanking her lucky stars there was no one left to have seen that rather embarrassing sight. That way, if anyone asked....she got a punch to the nose, hence the slight nose bleed and possible bruise.

Regardless of all these little distractions, she needed a word with their dear treasurer. Apparently she was supposed to....work WITH the pres to fight evil or some such s**t. She was all for smacking a b***h around that deserved it, but she could do it alone! Why would she need to work with someone else? Well, that answer had actually been given, she'd been told that she and the treasurer had 'aspects' that...meshed well. She flushed a furious red at the idea. Match? With that incompetent? There was no way she would work with someone like that! That being the case, it was the most likely cause of her spending an extra half hour pummeling the stupid out of her juniors....and seniors, though usually the juniors were the only ones stupid enough to step in the ring with her. Now, she didn't know what her aspect was just yet....just that she already hated it.

Wil thrust open the door to the student counsel and stood with in all her glory, eyes set on the treasurer. "HEY!" she roared.

Liam should have expected Wil to burst into the Student Council office with a loud exclamation, and he did to an extent. He just didn't acknowledge her. In fact, he hadn't even said much to the treasurer upon walking into the office. He was off in his own little world like all ways. With earbuds in his ears and his iPod playing music into them, the Vice President of the student council was too busy working on his next dance routine to pay attention to the more important things: the girls, for example, or the work they needed to talk about for their weekly student council meeting. All of that came second Liam O'Connor. Having to deal with schoolwork was enough, in his mind. The last thing he wanted to worry about was governmental issues.

Yeah; his music was the most important thing at the time being. It allowed him to escape, if even for a short while.

Eventually, though, the song came to an end and the senior turned off his iPod without hesitation. Wil was here now, and if he had it on for too much longer, he'd probably get an earful. A quick grimace flashed across his face at the thought. What was it with women sometimes? Or maybe it was just Wil? She took her job as the disciplinarian of the Student Council too seriously. Way too seriously, he might add. If he had kept his iPod on then it wouldn't have been the first time he had gotten a suckerpunch from the girl in the jaw. Come to think of it...Liam was the one who got the brunt of all the physical attacks not just from Wil, but from all the girls. Especially during that --...that time of the month. A shudder ran down the Vice President's spine as he thought of that. That was what he got, though, wasn't it for being the only male on a Student Council full of females.

"Hello Willy," he said cooly, smirking at his own pet-name for the boxer that he knew would annoy her to no end, "how are we today?"

There was a cool, smooth sound that might have been mistaken for maniacal laughter, if it weren't for the fact that Shin-lu's face didn't change expression much at all and her only noticeable reaction to Wil's outraged greeting was an adjusting of her glasses. Certainly she was not enjoying this, Shin-lu was not some horrible person who got off on torturing Wil. No. Never.

She was holding the student council's budget book still, jotting down something into a perfectly ruled column. Unlike some, Shin-lu was diligent in her chores. She had almost finished the budgeting and future-predictions for not only the council, but also some of the main claimers of student funds. Like the soccer team, who would be wanting more balls soon. And the tennis club for new rackets. So far; the budget was looking good. Shin-lu had reasonably good grades too, and she was generally meticulously groomed- today was no different. And She was usually up to something. Something terrible and evil.

"So nice of you to join us. Please, sit here." The table was mostly empty, with a good dozen or so seats, but Shin-lu indicated the seat right next to her. She was always so polite and friendly. And up to god knows what. Shin-lu smiled, and something, somewhere came together perfectly... or a fairy died.

User ImageShe was about to pass by that 'whatshisname' without notice, but froze when deemed Willy. She glanced back at him a moment. "I'll deal with you later," she hissed. "I'm hunting for bigger game." She snapped around and stalked by him, eyes finally locking on that....that...terribly evil creature. Her face went red and contorted into a new rage. Why damnit?!

Once standing in front of her she planted her hands on her hips. She looked as though she believed it was entirely Shin-lu's fault. That smug look plastered over her face really was not helping that fact. She was enjoying poor Wil's turmoil far more than she should. Actually Liam was the same, but she'd deal with him later, she'd torture him over a prolonged period of time as opposed to blowing up all at once. Besides, Wil was on the warpath for Shin-lu's blood. Maybe Liam could....give a hand with training the newbies to the club, no one was willing to fight her any more and it'd be easy enough to lure him in with some music and offers to let him borrow half of their club room for dancing. Just let him assume she wanted him to lure in people to join boxing.

That aside she slammed her hands down on Shin-lu's desk, glaring at her with all she could muster. "Why you?" she bit out. She hadn't waited around to hear about the others she'd be partnering with, she just had heard that her power would work well with that damned treasurer. Apparently they were the best to clean up after one another, fire could help her get to any water she could use, the two together could destroy most material with heating and cooling....DAMNIT! Of all people, why her? "You met with that skanked out tart, right?" she asked, hands moving back to her hips. She refused to take a seat, preferring to stare downwards at Shin-lu.

Shin-lu brushed a piece of hair behind her ears, picking at some sort of imaginary crease from her skirt. "Because we're compatible."

She was answering the question as it came, but her calm features betrayed a slight hint of amusement. Shin-lu had been very centered over the past few days, learning abut their strange connection, between the student council, and the magical elements.

And to say that she had been excited about the connection between herself and Wil, was to understate the fact. Wil was... so sexy when she yelled like that. Shin-lu wanted to grab the poor girl and... it was like Christmas had come, knowing that they were bound together. To fight evil.... or something.

She shifted finally and stood, reaching out to take Wil's flailing hand and pressing it between her own. "Can't you feel it? Our connection?"

Well in this state, there wasn't a whole lot to feel, aside from Shin-lu's heavy, soul-searching gaze.

Wil stood in a moment of stunned silence, not pulling her hand free. Her mouth hung agape like a freshly dead fish, eyes glazing over in her stupefaction. There was so no way someone would honestly have the audacity to touch her short of an attempted punch. Not even her fellow club-mates touched her needlessly...the most she allowed was a pat on the back for a good hard work out...but to have the....the gall to grab her hand!

She finally came to her senses and stole it back, face red and contorted into a look brimming over with rage and embarrassment. "Compatible!?" she snapped, voice taking a higher pitch to accentuate her rage. "How in the HELL are WE compatible?!" she demanded, apparently assuming she had all the answers. "There's no...connection between us! You're just...and when I.....NO CONNECTION!" she snapped, again her voice raising in pitch around the end of it, sounding a bit frantic to avoid the idea.

She stole a glance over to Liam, face brightening again as she did her best to settle down at least enough that she didn't look like a complete lunatic. "I am just going to....talk to that....tart!" she said finally. Yes, she knew she'd never get a straight answer out of Shin-lu. Shin-lu always just gave Wil those....weird looks whenever she thought Wil wasn't looking. Rather she just tried to pretend she didn't notice. The only explanations for those looks she most certainly didn't want to hear any more than she wanted to hear about their....bond.

It was all she could do not to grab the explosive little thing and bend her back, locking her lips with Wil's, her hands almost ached to grab a hold of those delicious hips and pull Wilhelmina against her body in a smooth, sharp motion. That scent of hair-dye and the audacious look to the outraged girl... oh god, Shin-lu was melting.

She smiled impassively. "And tell her what? Please, it's not like I asked to be your partner, the least you could do is be a little more polite and try and get along with me." Playing the sad hurt act was easy and Shin-lu twisted around, "Do you really... hate me that much Ms. Jones?"

And she looked sad, even depressed, like 'what have I done to make her so upset' which was exactly how Shin-lu probably lured in all her victims. But it was impossible to tell with Shin-lu; she was conniving and tricksy, and most would say 'no way Wil could rattle 'Lu that much' of course, Wil didn't necessarily know that. After all, what had Shin-lu ever done to her... aside from the obsessive stalking that might not have been obvious to Wil. They did have a lot of classes together... and all the antagonizing, where Shin-lu always seemed to be behind the other kids picking fights with Wil, and all the boys getting transferred if they liked Wil and....

Really, Shin-lu was a delicate innocent flower. Butter also would not melt on her lying tongue.

She melted a little, her brow knitting together. "I.....no I......I don't hate you exactly." Wil fidgeted slightly, looking a little uncomfortable at the thought of her just doing something like that of spite. Okay, so she had been unnecessarily bitchy, she really could tone down the bitchy a little, it couldn't hurt. She sighed and scratched her head awkwardly, unconsciously smoothing her hair over her neck.

"Look...I know we need to get along but..." she broke off and grumbled slightly. "We can get along I guess...but I still want to try to get out of it.." she mumbled. Maybe she could talk to the woman about how to get her own powers useful on its own. She'd asked up front but most ways she wouldn't be able to actually get to any water on her own. The suggestion the woman used was fire and wind to heat up clouds and cause it to rain. Or melt a hole in a water tower. Or earth could move away enough ground to get to water.....damnit, why did she get something so useless that couldn't stand alone? For someone like her it really did not suit. She wasn't gentle as a steam, she wasn't dainty as water trickling over rocks, maybe as rash and violent as rapids or a waterfall...but water wasn't exactly the element that personified her...

If a judge had of been keeping scores then goal would have just flashed across Shin-lu's side of the fence. Like a cat she almost purred.

"Then lets try and get along, Ms Disciplinary committee." Shin-lu stood and took Wil's hand, raising it like a lord takes a lady's hand and kissing the boxer's very defined knuckles. A lock of black hair fell over her shoulder and brushed against Will's fingers as the treasurer claimed her victory.

Oh, she loved teasing Wilhelmina. She wanted to watch her features just drain to red. Embarrassment, mortification, she'd milk it all out of Wil.

And then she was back to her usual self, the creepy moment passing as the dark look in her eyes was replaced with a cheerful smile.

"Besides, you're the only one who can temper my fire, right? What would happen if you left and I couldn't control myself?" Like that WOULD happen. Shin-lu played the part though, concerned, worried. Butter. Mouth. Not melting.

She made quite a face, a grimace with red coating her face all the way up to her ears. Wilhelmina looked away and jerked her hand back, still looking rather displeased about.

"God you're so weird," she muttered.

Wil turned away, attempting to hide her blushing red face. "A-anyway I've got like....stuff to do..." she mumbled. By that she meant she needed to escape from being anywhere near Shin-lu. There was something about her that made Wil feel.....uncomfortable. That Aphrodite woman said something about them being...soulmates or something, that their souls were on the right wave length whatever that meant....she thought it was a load of crap. Besides, two women couldn't....you know.....right? NO! Slippery slope! Those were definitely thoughts she didn't want roaming her head.

She paused and looked back at Shin-lu, this time with an even worse unhappy look, her mouth stretched unhappily. "S.....so uh....what did she say your beacon was?" she asked, a bit curious if everyone was like her and had some hideous school defying tattoo like her. The only thing she was happy about was it wasn't on her lower back...God help her if she'd gotten a tramp stamp....

Shin-lu smiled and tried to hide her nosebleed at the adorable way Wil was stammering, it brought to mind all sorts of fun things in dark rooms and Wilhelmina groaning 'no, don't touch me there~'. Her composer regained as Wil backed up and that pressure in her ears receded a little. She got all hot and bothered by the idea that Wil was her other half, her calm, serene water. Even if Wil was explosive on the surface, she was like the currents of a rapid, bubbling and lashing out. Shin-lu was the flame of a long burning volcano; calm on the surface and raging within.

She stood and moved, following Wil. "You... want to see my.... beacon?" The words rolled out, a little too delicately, it was in a strange place, and she wasn't sure if she wanted anyone really seeing it. "I'll show you, since it's you Wil." And Shin-lu's blush wasn't /totally/ fake. Just mostly.

She started taking her ribbon off.

Wil looked curiously at her, wondering for a moment. But when she began to undo the ribbon she immediately jumped a bit. Oh she was not....oh lord....once again the colour began rising in her cheeks. "NONONONONO! I don't need to see it! Geeze, don't start stripping at school!" she snapped, clapping her hands over the ribbon to keep it firmly in place. Horrible! Shamless! Soft! ...waitwhat? She jerked her hands back quickly realizing just what was soft and squishy.

"Igottago!" she said, again turning away and trying to make a break for the door. Not right! She was so not thinking those slippery slope kind of thoughts about that woman's....soft....areas. GUH! Why would she want Wil to see in the first place? Was she an exhibitionist? Wilhelmina was so worried about the thoughts raging through her mind. These things hadn't cropped up before that dirty....tramp came to tell her that she and Shin-lu were...made for each other!

Shin-lu was actually blushing now, a blush that spread down to her chest. She touched her breast where Wil's fingers had been and her smile became the cat-eating-canary. Wil panicked and fled, and Shin-lu pouted a little. Her tattoo had even gotten hot with excitement.

"he. She touched." Retying her ribbon in a very business-like manner, Shin-lu flicked her hair over her shoulder, practically sparkling with goodwill and gentleness.

Biggest trap ever.

Someone was going to start a fight before lunch the next day and give Shin-lu a chance to close in on her prey once more. Mwuahha.

Her evil laughter carried out the room and down the hall some. The student council treasurer's work here was done.

She'd gotten Wil to accept her as her partner, AND touch her breasts. Good job for one day.
