(Sorry if this is in wrong forum..)
Well I'm going to a con in June, and I have no idea what I'm going to do on the 2nd day. I already know who I'm going as for the 1rst day, but the 2nd day I decided maybe Shilo from R!TGO.
I have some items of Shilo's, like the fishnet gloves, the make up, the nailpolish, and skirt. But I'm not quite sure what to do about the shirt and the necklace and shoes.
I'll also have difficulty with the hair. My hair, luckily, will be long and dark enough then, but I don't know what to do about my bangs. They sort of swoop down in front of my eyes, (no not emo..) and whatever I do, I can't keep them back.
So any suggestions? scream

For your hair you can either wear a wig (which I'd do) or use bobby pins to remove the bangs from your face. Half of your bangs on the left. Half of your bangs to the right. As for the shirt. You could wear what she wears in Seventeen. Hope I was of some help. :3

hair: a headband will work or clips and pins clothes: depending on your hight /body type you can use mens shirts to make her short little dresses or white shirt under dark jacket with a ribbon around your neck or long sleved mesh shirt under white tee with black vest (the shorter the better)

Bobby pins would be the simplest way to get your bangs out of your face. I use them all the time in theatre. Just pull your bangs back with one, then cross another bobby pin over the first to make an 'X' shape. A little bit of hairspray and it'll stay all day.
As for the rest of the costume... second hand stores are a con-goer's best friend. They're especially good if you have some sewing experience, because while you may not be able to find a ruffled shirt or even a cravat at the thrift store, you will find miles and miles of lace to make ruffles with.
You could check out a military surplus store as well. Usually they have gas masks for pretty cheap. ^_^
