It was another quiet day and Nova was yet again alone with the two butterfly friends she had made while growing up. She shuffled her shimmery wings as she walked along, following one of the little orange butterflies while the other rested on the tip of her muzzle. Nova giggled at the feeling of the butterfly kisses as she walked along, wondering what would happen with this day.
Her silver eyes glanced around, taking in each tree she passed and every flower that was beginning to bloom. Spring time was her favorite. It was a time that everyone seemed to be more relaxed and the weather was just right, not too hot or too cold. Even though it rained once in a while, it was still a beautiful season, she thought.

Landing with a bit of a thud, Astrophel sighed. He was worn out, trying to keep Asty at by when the children were around wasa really tough situation... The other him seemed to be agitated as of late... Possibly something that the skinwalker had said got him... But he had to wonder what she said.
Fluffing out his wings and a bit of a snort, he needed to not let this get to him. and he set off down the the path all determined like.

The mare kept her glimmering wings tucked at the side of her body. Her orange hooves carried her along slowly. She glanced ahead of her now, taking in the sights of the trees on one side of her and a clearing on the other side. Her path was curving more towards the clearing now. She smiled at the flowers that were blooming and the butterflies that were fluttering about.
The mare then noticed a large blue object ahead of her. She squinted slightly, then smiled warmly when she noticed the angeni stallion. It had been a while since she had seen another soquili around that wasn't part of her family. As she approached him, she bowed her head and spoke in her usual soft voice. "Hello sir." Her wings shuffled as she watched the orange butterfly that was leading her now rest on one of her wings.

"What do you want?" Asty snapped out, before a quick shake of the head came, and Astrophel smiled. "Oh excuse me, how are you on this fine day?" That was a close one... He was to sure if he could handle Asty for to much longer, and trying to get away to be alone, was his only resort. His eyes watched the butterflies that surrounded her. There were two, and it was an interesting sight.
The mist ends of his hair started to gather before he moved again, and it evaporated. He hadn't run into anyone new in some time, usually the same horses roamed this area. His winged fluttered slightly, before settling back against him.

Nova's head tilted slightly at his reaction to her greeting, but she shrugged it away. "I am very well and yourself?" She asked as she glanced at the mist gathered around the stallion's hooves. What an interesting sight... The purple mare couldn't help but glance at his markings. It seemed he was blessed with the coloring of the night sky.
Her silver eyes looked up into his coal colored eyes. She shifted her wings and watched as the butterfly seemed to shift along with her. Suddenly, she looked back at the stallion with a warm smile. "Have you ever just watched butterflies?"

"Ahh, I can't say I have." Astrophel thought about it, and he couldn't really remember a time when he stopped to watch them. They were a bit of a girlie thing. He personally never found them very interesting. But his thought process was a bit different then the norm. He enjoyed watching other horses, because they had more deliberate movements.
"Its nice to have some good weather finally." He looked over at her. He had never seen butterflies follow a horse around like that, but then again, he never found another with the same hair as his. "Are you from the area here?"

Nova looked up at the stallion and smiled. It was her father who taught her how to enjoy the butterflies, so she didn't find that it was a 'girlie thing' to do. "You should sometime... It is very peaceful." She grew up with the butterflies and had become peaceful, because what she learned from them... or at least that was what she believed.
"Yes, the perfect day to just walk around." She said, as her wings shuffled position slightly, but remained folded neatly at her sides. "I am. My family should be roaming around here somewhere." Nova said with a warm smile. She liked to stick close to her family, but wouldn't mind wandering off if something sparked her interest.

He found it strange that for the years he visited the area, he had never seen her, or her family. His ear twitched, and she pushed the thought off. He stood there in silence for a few moments before he looked past her. He wasn't in a huge rush, but he did want be moving. It wasn't to often that he was able to get the foals mother to take them, so on his free day he wanted to on the move. He doubted that his missing sister would just stumble upon him.
Not wanting to be rude, Astrophel would invite this mare to walk with him. "Would care to join me for a walk? I'm trying to find something."

Nova's ears flicked at the stallion's voice when he finally spoke. She had never seen him around before, nor had she seen any of his family, if he had any family that was. Her silver eyes looked back towards the direction he had been walking and she smiled then nodded her head. "I would love to join you." It wasn't as fun walking around all alone. At least she could have a conversation with the stallion and he would actually answer aloud, unlike the butterflies.
"Maybe I could help you find the something you are looking for?" Nova said simply as she prepared to follow him in whichever direction he decided to walk in.

With her nod Astrophel turned, and a harsh voice could be heard, but it wasn't speaking to her, but to himself, asking why he was talking along another horse. But it soon disappeared and his gentle tone returned.
"Ah, yes well... I'm looking for a mare that looks a lot like me I'm assuming." He glanced back to the mare. This was around the area that the usdia found him, so he tended to always come back to this area in search of his missing sister, one that he only recently found out he had.
"My name is Astrophel. What might yours be?"

Her light silver eyes looked over at the stallion quizzically. He seemed to be talking to himself and unhappy that she was joining him. The young mare shuffled for a moment then walked along his side, her purple ears flicking back and forth at the sounds that surrounded the two of them.
"You are assuming?" She was trying to put the pieces together. A mare that looked like him that he was searching for. A mother? A sister? Obviously it was some female family member he wanted to meet.
She looked at the stallion when he introduced himself. "Oh! How rude of me. I am Nova."

"Yes, I have never seen her before, so I would think we would have something in common." His sister, the one he only recently learned he had.
"Nova? I've met another named Nova, a long time ago. It's a nice name."

Nova looked up at the stallion and nodded her head as she tried to put together the little puzzle he was giving her. "So we are looking for a mare that has stars over her body." She smiled and nodded, it shouldn't be too hard, right?
"Thank you, I like your name as well." Nova said as she looked around for a star spotted mare. Her ears flicked back and forth as she listened to the sounds that surrounded them as they made their way along the little path he was walking along. "So, what is your family like?" She asked, looking up at him with a sweet smile and hoping it wouldn't be a touchy subject for him.

Astrophel looked down at her, and had to think. "Well... I don't know. I don't remember them." Hos memories were still severed in his mind, and wouldn't become whole again until he found his sister. But he had heard from an unlikely source that he had one. "I ran into this skinwalker that seemed to know me, and she talked about my sister... All I remember was being raised by Usdia."
"Do you have a large family?" He felt like she might have... But he has been wrong before.

Nova watched the stallion with light silver eyes as he spoke about how he learned about his sister. Her purple ears flicked back and forth, listening close to his voice. "Raised by Usdia?" She was still a young mare and hadn't met such a soquili before.
"My family is a tad big, I suppose." She said, thinking about her mother's side of the family. "I know I have many uncles and aunts roaming around the soquili lands and I'm sure I have cousins." Nova said with a large smile as she thought about one day meeting a cousin or two.
