I am pretty much in love with shoegaze. I'm a big fan of the classics like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Spaceman 3, Yo La Tengo, and Ride. I also enjoy some of the lesser appreciated bands like Hum, Space Team Electra, and Swirlies. I particularly love Space Team Electra. It's a real crime they never went anywhere in terms of success.

Check out Cocteau Twins, Pale Saints (anything on the 4AD label from the 80's/90's), and newer acts like Autumn's Grey Solace and Resplandor!

Ashley Larkspur Check out Cocteau Twins, Pale Saints (anything on the 4AD label from the 80's/90's), and newer acts like Autumn's Grey Solace and Resplandor! There were a lot of phenomenal artists on 4AD. Scott Walker is on 4AD. Anyways, No Age is probably my favorite new-ish shoegaze band.

too lazy to look it up, but somewhere on youtube is a video of a guy playing an acoustic-electric through a Devi-Ever Shoegazer pedal... Quite awesome indeed!!
I know this doesn't really have anything to do w/ shoegaze, but.. Acoustic Guild... Shoegaze topic.. Shoegazer pedal by Devi Ever.. Just jogged my memory ;P
