In the Immortal City, not all of the citizens are human. There are several races in this great kingdom. Just a few are listed below...
{{Note: Try to keep your races somewhat...old-timey. Elves, mages, maybe some dragons for pets, etc. And try to keep shapeshifters and vampires out. Like in "The people~" thread, the races below are just suggestions. You can choose what YOU want.}}

The HumansWe founded the Immortal City, therefore it is ours... The humans make up a majority of the Immortal City's population. After all, they were the original inhabitants of the city. Humans are really...nothing special. They're regular people, who, if they have the right ancestry, can learn limited magic. However, humans tend to be treated as if they are the best. It's almost a fact that humans are the best leaders of the races. Yes, they are easily corrupted, but if you find a human with the right heart and personality, even an elven king will bow to him.

The ElvesThe most intelligent of all... The Elves are a very talented race. They are quick, smart, and some tend to have great strength. Several of them are also able to use magic to its full extent. However, in the Immortal City, they are to be treated as any other commoner.
There are two types of Elves in the Immortal City, Natives, and True Bloods. Native elves are those who think of the city's queen as their ruler, and place her above all else. However, most of the Natives were born inside the walls of the city. The True Bloods are those who are still loyal to the Absolute Elven King, even if he lives far away. These are usually the foreigners, or those who still cling to the old ways.
Elves are very versatile. You can see them performing most any job in the Immortal City, from knight to thief, and everything in between. And not all elves are honest and true. Though they are thought to be noble creatures, everyone knows that each race has its good people and its bad people.

The MagesThose who are the most skilled in the mystic arts... The Mages are truly a mystery. They appear human, yet they are their own special race that can use magic even better than the elves. Nobody knows where they came from, and they're mostly independent, seeing as they don't have a leader.
There are two types of Mages, Elementals, and Universals. Elemental Mages are those who use the magic of only one elements of nature. Fire, Lightning, Water, Wind, etc. Universal Mages are those who did not choose one element at birth, but chose to master everything. Universal Mages can use many different spells, but their spells tend to be weaker than the Elemental Mages.

The Beast HumansThe lowest of the low... The Beast Humans are considered slaves throughout the Immortal City. They are neither human, nor are they beast. They aren't a hybrid, they are their own species. Originally, people feared the Beast Humans, for they had great power. So, to reduce the "threat" the Beast Humans were enslaved. The only free Beast Humans in the Immortal City are those who are thieves or who have escaped their masters.
There are three types of Beast Humans. The Dracos Beasts, the Tauros Beasts, and the Kaios Beasts.
The Dracos Beasts are usually the hardest to control. They are said to be descended from dragons, mostly because of the straight horns that rest atop their heads. They usually are able to use fire magic, and a generally physically stronger than other Beast Humans.
The Tauros Beasts are said to be descended from rams, for on their heads they have horns that curve backwards. They usually are able to use earth magic, and are generally the sturdiest of the Beast Humans.
The Kaios Beasts are said to be descended from wolves. Where their ears should be are wolf-like, furry ears, and the ears are always on the side of the head, never on top. They are usually able to use wind magic, and are said to be the fastest and the most flexible of all Beast Humans.
