Well, hello there everyone, and welcome to the Fundraising Committee! I'm your fearless leader on this quest for funds, Kala Kirya, and I'm honored to work with all of you.
It may be a long and arduous journey, but I have faith that we'll make it through to the other side with our skins intact and the Ball's wallet fat with gold. Past the Perilous Peaks of Peril, the Treacherous Tropics of Terror, and the Awful Abyss of Alliteration will we go, and come out victorious on the other side! We shall prevail, fearless questing group that we are! (strikes a pose, cape flapping in the sudden and inexplicable wind)

Oh, by the way, we're totally Power Rangers.
Okay, silliness done now that I've set a ridiculous theme for our fundraising thread (what, last year in the Art Committee we were pirates... XP). I really, truly am looking forward to working with all of you, I think that we're going to make a great team.
I'd like to start out with some introductions, so we can get to know each other a little better before we start to work. I'll go first, to give you an idea of what I had in mind. *wink* We may be working, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun!

Hello, my fellow comrades! My name is Kala Kirya, your stalwart and rather silly leader. I am the Red Ranger, because that's the one that's always in charge. Although, I'm of half a mind to say forget expectations and jump on being the Green Ranger, because I'm like that.... And it's my favorite color....
Haha, but seriously, I'm a college student going into my Junior year. I'm currently working on a major in English, and am a devoted bibliophile. I love movies, and spend entirely too much time on the internet. I really enjoy video games, even if I suck at them.
More to come when my brain is less fried... XP

 - Hey ho everyone! cool to be working with you all! i'm an illustrator by day and a groovy bassist by night, i'm about to do my final year at university and i'm currently working on a graphic novel which is ultimately awesome >.< I'm from england and i'm on gaia way too much! I love to set up threads and make crazy layouts with lotsa pretties in 3nodding
If ever there is an artistic emergency, i can be summoned with a giant spotlight shaped like a bat

I love like.. Everyone and everything that moves, unless it's a spider.

urhurhur. I'm an artist, and currently messing around with animation. (I'm NOT good at it yet, mind you~!)
I love roleplaying, a lot. OTL I'm like addicted to it.
So maybe that's a bad thing, I dunno. I'm a sophomore in High School, and Dr. Pepper makes me very, very happy.
It can bring me back from my virtual death. 8DDD
Kay. Well I'm friendly and I don't bite, I like talking, and I might be spazzy but all-in-all I think I'm okay~ heart

also, check it out, power ranger outfits! click on the images and feel free to join me in being suited up >.< it would be a good laugh to have us all in outfits 3nodding , i think it only costs about 12k in total to do and the pink and blue ones are even cheaper >.< - *go go power fundraisers!*
