Howl. The chief had called all the pack to a howl. Lode had sent to Constellation to let her know... But there was no way she would get back that soon. She had to trust her sister to let her know what had happened. In the meantime, she was just...wandering the woods. She knew he father's pack had welcomed them in, she even had suspicions who her father was, yet.... she never felt fully comfortable there. And she knew her mother felt the same. She had left because she needed some time, but away from the chaos of the holt.... sh realized... she was lonely.

Feng had escaped his mother and father's watchful eyes, trying to get away from his annoying sister. She was constantly trying to get him in trouble even when he wasn't doing anything. He had gone a little too far and was now lost in the woods. It didn't bother him one bit though. It was new and huge and would provide a wonderful playground for him.
His mother had been teaching him how to work his wings, saying that with practice he'd be able to learn how to fly. He wasn't one to wait and she did say practice was the way to do it. So he spread his wings and began flapping them. He was able to lift off the ground several inches. "Yeah!" He shouted before falling to the ground, "Ow!" He was loud enough that anyone nearby would have heard him.

She heard the sound and froze. Her first instinct had been to rush to the sound of the voice, to see if the person needed help. However the pack had filled her with so many fears of humans that she froze. What if it was a human? Of course, she had no clue what a human was, and no one had ever explained it to her well. Finally the desire to help and curiosity won over fear of the unknown. She slipped into the trees, moving silently, not stirring so much as a branch. The pack had taught her well. When she saw the baby, she felt stupid for her caution. It was a cub, and more, he had wings like mother. She dropped from the tree behind the little one. "Are you alright?" she asked. She hoped he was. She didn't like ponies or elves or whatever anyone called themselves to suffer, but more, she had a feeling those two quiet scary ones back at the holt would skin her alive for bring a stranger back.

He scrambled up from the ground and looked at the starry female. "I'm fine.... Just fell a little. Must of stopped flapping my wings." He sighed, "I'm Feng. My dad says you should always tell a lady your name right away." He settled his wings against his back studying her. She was very pretty, making him think of the night sky. "Um.... you have a pretty necklace. Dad also says you should compliment a pretty lady." He struggled saying the compliment screwing his eyes upward as he said it.

He chuckled a bit. "An interesting sire you have, cub. What is it, however that you wish to say?" She asked.

He nodded. His father certainly was interesting. "Uh... it was that you have a pretty necklace." Didn't that count as a compliment?

He thought about it for a moment and nodded slightly. "Yeah I would have said it. It is a very nice necklace.... I don't know if I'd be able to come up with another compliment. Dad didn't get very far in explaining them."

Feng, unable to stand standing still any longer, began to prance around her. "Could you please? It'll take forever before I can get Dad to explain it to me." It didn't help that the young boy had a hard time staying still and in one place for long.

He continued to prance around. "Oh yes please! I can't stand staying still!" He began moving away from her, never too far away. He was too interested in speaking with her to wander off.

Feng was still keeping close to her. "Why do you call me cub? I don't look like a cub.... do I?!" He paused slightly and looked at her, "I'm sorry.... I never caught your name...."
