The grass was still damp with due as the young brown foal, wondered around looking for his parents. His mother had left him with his older brother, when he was still a basket and hadn't returned for him. Shoshan's father had not come to get him either.
A strong wind blew past Shoshan, as he slowly made his way along the edge of the forest. His ears pinned back against his head and he grunted in annoyance, at the wind. He glanced right and noticed a dark shape just inside the forest and moved to see what it was
When he got closer he realized that it was a cave, that he had been staying, but much larger and rather scary looking. Thinking that maybe his parents or one of them lived in this cave, he decided to explore it.
"Uh, errm hellooo?" Shoshan yelled into the cave, A noise caught his ears and he inched his way into the entrance. He trotted in place for a bit, then ran back out, a several bats flew out of the cave causing him to let out a shrill.
"What are those things, I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know" he whined out as he shook his head back and forth.
Shoshan moved away and glanced around to see if anyone happened to be outside, thinking maybe they might want to help him look in the cave, for his parents. Since it was a bit too scary to do himself.

While wind was usually a good thing when it came to those who could take flight this was not the case for a certain foal who laid pinned down close to the ground. She had been told by her mother to stay by the bushes while she went out to go find a safer place to stay, and maybe a good place to graze on the way there.
However, it seemed like that was forever ago, and Aisha was starting to get bored, worried and not the mention it felt like her legs were falling asleep on her.
That was soon passed her attention though, for the sound of a nearby voice had caught her attention. "That doesn't sound like mother."
Ears perked, and a curious smile on her face, the Flutterangicorn quickly raised her head to peek over the bushes she was hiding behind. She could clearly see a lone colt near a cave entrance.
"Why are you talking to a cave? Are you lost? "

Louvia certainly loved getting herself in trouble with her mom; every time her mother told her not to wander too far off, she would. Gladly, she always made her way back before her mother had a heart attack from worry, but Louvia would never reveal what she did during the day. Sometimes it would be just by herself, but other times she'd meet people. Louvia was friendly, so it was easily done.
Today, she was wandering around a mountain side. Her mother was back there... somewhere. Her family was boring her, however. Louvia would randomly hit the rocks with her hooves, climbing up whenever possible. She'd get a little bit of height, feel scared, and then come back down. Oddly enough, she was still bored.
Her wandering lead her to a turn where, behind it, she could hear some voices. It definitely wasn't her family since she couldn't of gone all the way around the hill. Louvia peeked around the corner with only her head sticking out. Her ears twitched with wonder while her glowing eyes stared at another filly like herself that was in a bush as well as a colt in front of a large cave opening.

Hathi had been playing with Koko, his best friend ever ever, but then he hadn't wanted to be talked at anymore or keep playing, so Hathi had reluctantly left him alone.
Which left him with a problem. He was all alone, and had nobody to play with! Figuring that if he walked long enough, he would either find a nice mare to take him back home (like Koko's mama!) or something to do.
As the wind picked up, Hathi fluttered his wings hesitantly; he still wasn't good at flying, and he didn't know how to get better without help. He'd tried to learn with his other friend, Santi, but she didn't know either, so they'd both been stuck. Maybe if the wind was stronger he could fly better...? Deciding he'd have to try that sometime, Hathi continued to walk, spotting a cave in the distance. Ooh! Maybe if he could get on top of it and jump, he could fly!
Grinning at that idea, Hathi kicked himself into a gallop and went running toward the cave, only to trip head over heels on himself when he got closer: there were other foals and fillies there!
"Hi!" Hathi greeted from his sideways position on the ground. "Whatcha guys doin'? Can I play?" He grinned widely, then started righting himself until he was standing back on all four hooves, wings quickly to get the dirt off of them.
Hey! That girl had wings just like him! "Can you fly with those?" They were so weird...part of them looked sorta like his, like a butterfly that Sheppard would've loved, but another part was really...feathery. Like a bird! If he was a horse-bug, like Santi said, did that make her a horse-bird-bug?
