Essence was heading back to her birth place. For the past months she had been a student studying at Eden to pursue her dream to be a Midwife and now her basic training was over she was heading back to catch up with her family. To get back to her field however she had to pass through the forest. Even though she had been down the winding path before she had not really spent much time in this kind of terrain, she much preferred to reside in a place where the skies where easier to access. She loved flying more than anything in the world, a passion she had inherited from her father’s flutter blood. A soft smile came onto her face as she wondered, her gentle blue eyes examining the twisted routes and branches as she walked. She wondered if her home had changed much, she remembered flowers of every colour blooming just so wonderfully she could not describe. All the different smells and textures had indeed been a very hard thing to forget and she was looking forward to experiencing them all again as she did as a foal. She could not wait to catch up with her family and tell them about all the progress she had been making with the Imp Herd. She had never quite understood why she felt so strongly about her career path, it seemed like something deep down was telling her it was what she was meant to do. Pregnancy and child birth had always fascinated her and she loved foals; which might sound odd from a girl who was in her teenage years, however she was born with a motherly instinct and she knew she would never tire of being around the younger generation.
The mare had truly gotten herself into a pickle. She snapped out of her daydream and looked questionably down the path she had followed. Had she just not walked past that tree? I mean she was in the forest so all there where trees everywhere however something about that one looked very familiar. She wondered towards it and looked at some track marks in the ground, placing her clovered hoof next to them to compare. She had walked in a huge circle! Her face dropped as she gave a nervous chuckle. Great! Now what was she going to do! The trees did not even provide her with enough room to seek a exit from the skies. Looks like she was pretty lost, she bet her brothers would find great pleasure from hearing about their sisters misfortune.
