I never did JROTC, but my brother did for a shortwhile. However my little brother does JROTC, but you see he is attending a military school (New York Military Academy).

New York, do you mean West Point? No I do not mean West Point (however I do have a cousin who just got into West Point and will be attending it next year. My grandpa also attended West Point). New York Military Academy is a college preparatory military school for grades 7th-12th 3nodding Website: http://www.nyma.org/

Wyvern Knight I wish I could go, but im stuck in the suburbs. Very good school. My little brother enjoys it a lot and one of the biggest reasons he's going to NYMA is because he wants to go to West Point.

Wyvern Knight Hehehe that will be funny when your little brother outranks you as a leiutenant. Yeah it'll be pretty annoying because the kid is only 14. My cousin whose going to West Point has bugged me about it for a long time now since he found out he got in.

I'm in AFJROTC. I am a MSgt and flight commander. I drill my flight on a daily basis. They are mostly freshmen, so I welcome the challenge. We do as every unit does, have a bad apple however, he is dumber than anyone I have ever met. He is disrespectful and indifferent to training. Anyone with questions about AFJROTC please pm me.
