►► Ally and Meli stood on Route 205, staring back at their hometown, Floaroma, in silence. Melie took a deep breath and released it slowly.
"Wow...we're really doing this, huh?" Meli said in a hushed tone, her gaze fixated upon the beautiful and tranquil town she grew up in. Ally turned to her best friend, a wide smile spread across her lips. "Hey! We're going to have so much fun, Meli! This has been our dream since we were kids!"She enthused, her growlithe Fang giving a confident ''woof'' to back his Trainer up. Meli's somber and pensive face lightened to a smile. "You're right! Let's do this!" She exclaimed, thrusting her fist thriumphently into the air before setting off down Route 205. Ma reeeeeep~ Peaches baa-ed, ambling behind her Trainer.
"Atta girl!" Ally giggled, running after her friend to catch up.

xxx►►xx Kostya walked through Eterna City, his hands shoved into his pockets and a bag slung over his shoulder. Today was his first day back in town after a short Haitus. Ugh. I'm going to have to go back to work now even though i really-- Kostya's thoughts were interrupted by a soft rummaging that came from within his bag. The gym leader's eyes widened, quickly darting into the nearest Alley way so he was away from any one's line of sight. Kostya quickly peacked around the corner, making sure the coast was clear before opening up his back. "Mew~" Mew squeaked, floating out of the bag, hovering over towards Kostya's head where it pearched. The gym leader gentley picked up his pink pokemon, lowering it off its head. " You know you can't be seen..." He whispered softly, offering Mew a rare smile. Mew~ It declared happily, nudging Kostya's head softly before lowering itself back into the bag. A muffled 'mew' escaped from the bag. Kostya peered around the corner once more before starting off again down the busy Eterna City street. "We're almost home..."

►► The two friends skidded to a halt at the end of their route. Surprisingly, it had taken Ally and Meli a lot less time to reach the end of Route 205 then they had planned. Fang and Peaches remained at their trainers' sides as they stopped for a rest. With a sigh of relief, Ally plopped onto the ground besides her loyal pokemon, scratching the canine behind the ears. The growlithe kept a stern and alert face as his trainer showed it affection, trying not to show any emotion even though he enjoyed the scratching. Ally giggled softly, kissing Fang's forehead before turning her attention to her poke-gear. "Hm. Eterna City is the next stop, but it looks like we need to go through the forest up ahead...Eeeew~ I don't like forests! They're always filled with Bug-types! Yuck!"Ally made a childish face of disgust as she spoke before she sprung to her feet, ambling over to Melie's side. "It looks scary, Mel. Can't we go around it?"She whined with a pout. Meli smiled softly at her friend before turning her attention towards the direction of Eterna Forest. "Our first city is just beyond this forest. Aren't you the one that said that this has always been our dream? We can't give up now, Ally!"Melie enthused, grabbing Ally's wrist before darting off, pulling her friend behind her as she ran. "Waaaaah! Meli, Waiiiiit! I don't like bugs!"The blond-haired girl cried as she was pulled into Eterna forest, forced to run with Meli as she ran. Fang and Peaches darted after their trainers, following close behind.
"Eeee!"
Meli skid to a halt and released her friend's wrist, her eyes frantically darting around the forest in an attempt to locate the source of the strange sound. "Did you hear that?" She breathed, still looking around for what the noise might be. Ally let out a ''Eep!', latching onto Meli's back like a scared child. "Don't let the bugs get me, Mel!"She cried, squeezing her eyes shut and burying her head in Melie's shoulder.
"Eeee!"
Melie's attention snapped to the side. "There it is again!"
"Baaah! It's a giant icky bug, i know it!"Ally whimpered, her clasp on Meli tightening. "Faaaang~!"She choked out, her voice muffled by Melie's shoulder. At the sound of his name, the growlithe slid into a protective stance between his master and the source of the odd sound. A low growl rumbled under the fire-pokemon's throat.
"Peaches!!"
On command, the mareep fell in line next to Fang, its eyes focused ahead towards the source of the sound.
"Vee...Vee.."
Two eevees stumbled out of the bushes, cautiously inching towards Meli and Ally. Meli immediately called off her pokemon.
"Oh, Ally, look!"
Slowly, Ally opened her eyes. "OH MI GOSH!"She exclaimed happily, her face brightening with pure joy. Ally broke away from her friend and ambled over towards the two eevee brothers, careful not to scare them. She croutched down several feet away, slowly extending her hand towards them to show she meant them no harm. "Aw...They're so cute! Hey there little guys~"
One of the eevees inched closer towards Ally and licked her hand. It took every fiber in Ally's body to keep herself from exploding with pure-joy. The girl trotted back to her friend's side, a giant smile spread across her face
"Oh...!! Can we keep them, Meli? Can we? Can we pleeeeeeeease?"
Mellie reached into her bag and pulled out two pokeballs. "Who says we can't try?"She replied, handing one of the balls to Ally. The two exchanged grins before turning their attention to the eevee-brothers.
"Go, Pokeball!""Go, Pokeball!" The friends exclaimed in unison as they tossed their pokeballs at the eevees. The spheres hit the pokemon, causing them to glow red and be sucked into the container. Ally and Meli leaned in closer, watching intently as they two pokeballs rocked back and forth.
"Come on..."Ally muttered encouragingly. Suddenly, the two pokeballs stopped moving and the button in the center ceased glowing. "We did it!""We did it!" Meli and Ally cheered, jumping with joy.

►► Ally and Melie trecked through the forest, their main pokemon ambling along behind them. "Aah~ I'm scared, Melie!" Ally whimpered, clutching to her friend's arm as she walked, her body pressed against Melie's side as her eyes darted around, paranoid.
"Ally, calm down. We haen't run into any bug--ah!!"Melie's sentence was cut off when ally's hand slapped over her mouth. "Shhh! you'll jinx us!" she whispered urgently to her friend before glancing around the forest once more. Melie simply smiled softly, rilling her eyes before she resumed walking. Ally pouted, watching in silence as her friend walked ahead with peachez. The bug-phobic girl turned to Fang, "You'll protect me from the bugs, right boy?" She asked in a quivering voice. The growlithe gave a stern but assuring nod. "Ark!"
Ally's face brightened with a smile, affectionatly petting her pokemon's head.
"Come on, Allychuu!" Melie called out down the path, waving her friend down. "Coooooming~" She called back, singing her words. Ally gave Fang a cheerful smile before darting off down the path to catch up with Melie. Fang sprinted after her.

Ally and Melie stared in awe at Eterna City from the entrance. Even though the two girls lived in the town before the city, they still had never been-- Allychuu's mother wouldn't let the girls. Sure, the girls had seen footage on the TV, but the actual real-life city was... amazing. Melie and Ally had grown up in a small town focused on Berries, flowers, honey and nature; so, to them, this town seemed almost futuristic.

The two girls started down the city's main road with their pokemon ambling behind them as their eyes glanced around the scenery. "Woah..." Ally breathed, her gaze slowly rising to meet the top of a tall building. The girl blinked. "I wonder who lives in there..." "It says here that its a business building of some sort. " Melie relayed after reading the building's sign. Ally's eyes skimmed around the city once more before focusing on a tiny shop. " BICYCLES!" She exclaimed happily, her face glowing as she spoke. Melie gave her friend a soft smile, but shook her head. "Not now, Allychuu. We have to get on over to the Pokemon Center, remember? Nurse Joy said that the Eterna City Pokemon center had something for us."
Ally pouted, crossing her arms against her chest like a child. "Fine.."she sighed before starting off towards the Pokemon center. Melie smiled, rolling her eyes before following after her.

►► The automatic door closed behind Ally and Melie as they steppd into the pokemon center, a soft bell echoing through the room, signaling their arrival. The two girls approached the counter. "Excuse me, Nurse Joy. I'm Amelieon and this is my friend Allychuu. Nurse Joy of Floaroma Town told us there was something here for us." Melie says. "Oh! Yes! Just a second please!" Nurse Joy replied happily before walking to the back of the pokemon center. Mareep ambled over towards the counter, nudging her trainer's leg with its head. "Reeeep" it declared softly, staring up at Melie who smiled back. The girl's attention turned back to Nurse Joy, who had returned to the counter with two Eggs. Melie stared blankly at them. "Whooooooa~" Ally breathed, a huge smile plastered on the girl's face as she leaned over the counter to get a better look at the poke' eggs. "Are these for us?" She asked the nurse, not able to take her eyes off the eggs. The nurse smiled, nodding her head softly. "Yes they are! Your fathers sent them over as a gift." The girl's smiles immediately vanished off their faces, instantly replaced with frowns. Melie and Ally exchanged glances, both trying to force a smile on their face for the other. One of the many things Melie and Ally had in common, was that their fathers were part of the Elite four. While this might impress and awe many, the fact that their fathers were neglectful ''meanies'' (a word commonly used by Allychuu) towards their daughters and wives, canceled out the ''coolness'' of it. The two men were almost never home, and left their wives to raise their children without any help. Amelieon's father, which the two have both agreed upon being the worst out of the two fathers, even left his own daughter alone after the death of his wife. No help, no comfort--nothing.
"You two also have money from Allychuu's mother, which has been sent into both your accounts, and a note." Nurse Joy explained, placing the note next to the eggs. Ally and Melie stared at the eggs. Their fathers were notorious for sending gifts--like that would make up for lost time. Hesitently, the girls took the eggs and the note, and left the pokemon Center. "What do you think it is?" Ally asked as she gingerly slid the egg into her bag. Fang tagged along beside his trainer, curiously sniffing the bag with the foreign egg. "Not sure...What did your mom write?"
As the two walked down the road, Ally rumaged through her pockets, pulling out the letter she had just recieved. "Eh-ehm, Mom wrote: To my dear Allychuu and Amelieon. I realize you two have just embarked on your adventure in becoming Pokemon Masters, but, i miss you. The house is empty and quiet rather than filled with your laughter... I'm sorry for complaining, but you know how i worry. In another matter, i've sent you girls some money to help make sure you take care of yourselves as well as Fang and Peachez. Look after each other, and please visit soon. I miss you. xoxoxoxo --Mom " Ally cited before putting the letter into her bag. "We should catch mom a pokemon!" She exclaimed, figuring the company would do her mother good. Amelia nodded in agreement. "Yes! Like a Blissy or Mr. Mime!"
With that said, the two girls hurried over towards the Poke-mart to buy pokeballs and other supplies in order to catch ALlychuu's mother a companion.
