A Herd is a group of horses who roam the land together, have the same Alignment, and just generally have a liking towards one-another. They can all be in the same family, or from different ones! Herds are a way to have fun for all of you RP-Lovers!●●●●xxx> > What's this "Alignment" you keep talking about?/ / . First, go read the METAPLOT.
"Good" Alignment are those Azrein and Humans that are fighting on King Azreth's side.
"Evil" Alignment are those Azrein fighting on the Six's side [no humans can be played.]
"Neutral" Alignment are those that are indifferent, instead choosing to be Wild Azrein. [no humans can be played unless Alignment changed to "Good"]●●●●xxx> > So, what's the difference between a Herd and a Journal?/ / . Well, a Journal is for you to keep track of your horse's personality, RPs, relationships, etc. A Herd is for you to keep track of the more action-based side of RPing with other horses involved!
/ / . Herds also help us keep track of the ebb and flow of the three Alignments, letting us adjust the Metaplot as necessary!
/ / . A Herd holds your horses, and other player's horses that share the same Alignment. Stats, territories, alignment, herd-related RPs / RP Events, allies, enemies, and information all go in your Herd.●●●●xxx> > How do I apply to make a Herd?/ / . Post the form below in this thread, then PM HoA Herds the form as well. Herds must have at LEAST two different users to be created.●●●●xxx> > Are Herds player-run?/ / . Yes! You tell us the basic info, we accept, then you set up and run your own Herd!●●●●xxx> > Can Herds fight each other over disputes, Alignment, and territory?/ / . Currently, not right now. BUT!!! In the near future, once more Herds are created, there will be fights based on the Stats of the Azrein in your Herd...cool, huh?!
I mean, technically they can fight right now...but in the future, we plan on awarding STAT BONUSES to victors of these skirmishes!●●●●xxx> > Can just anyone join my Herd?/ / . That one's up to you -- you can either have an Open Herd, where it's Open to the Public, or you can have a Private Herd, where it's by invite-only. But remember! Have fun! Don't make it a bad experience for anyone!> >How do I add members to my Herd?/ / . Well, if your Herd is Open, anyone can apply by filling out the form you have in your Herd's Thread!
If your Herd is Private, then you MUST ask the Herd Leader's permission to invite people.●●●●xxx> > Can only my horses be in a Herd?/ / . I mean, if you really wannnnt. But remember, Herds are places to socialize!! Make alliances, break alliances, whatever! BUT REMEMBER! Only Azrein that have the same Alignment can be in a Herd together! [[So that means a horse that has an Evil Alignment can't join a Herd with a Good Alignment.]]●●●●xxx> > Can I leave a Herd I'm in?/ / . Sure, if you'd like. Just make sure you notify the Herd Leader.●●●●xxx> > Do all of my horses have to be in the same Herd?/ / . No way! If you have one horse who is good, and another who is allied with the Six, they would not be in the same herd together, considering they're enemies!●●●●xxx> > Do I need to put EVERY horse I have in a Herd?/ / . Nope! Only the ones you want to SERIOUSLY RP with. Pick two or three favorites, if you don't want to have too many. You can always add more horses to different Herds later!●●●●xxx> > Is there a limit to how many Azrein can be in a Herd?/ / . Nope! / / . You need to have at least two members to start a herd. There is no maximum number of people in a Herd.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on Herd Leader
/ / . The User who owns either the Alpha Male OR the Alpha Female will be the Herd Leader. You MAY co-own a Herd; just be sure to include that in your form.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on Herd Alignment
/ / . EVERY Azrein in your Herd must have the same Alignment - so choose wisely!
/ / . Alignments are as follows:
●●●●1.xxxGood: You fight against the Six. You are allied with King Azreth, and will fight to protect the Bonds between Azrein and their Chosen. Only Azrein with a Good Alignment may Bond with a Human.
●●●●2.xxxEvil: You fight with the Six. You want to sever all ties between Azrein and Humans, and you will do everything in your power to ensure that happens - even if it means murdering your own kind. Azrein with an Evil Alignment cannot Bond with a Human.
●●●●3.xxxNeutral: You are a Wild Azrein. You have no Alignment either way ; you are nor for or against the Bond between Azrein and Humans. Azrein with a Neutral Alignment choose not to bond with a Human.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on a Name
/ / . You must name your Herd. Try to make it have the same feel of your Alignment -- if your Herd is Evil, please don't name your Herd "Herd Rainbow"....it will be rejected.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on Herd Territory
/ / . Decide over what Territory your Herd roams.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on Herd's Background
/ / . How your Herd was formed, why they chose their certain Alignment, etc. The more detail, the better, as this will be your Herd's description.
●●●●xxx> > Decide on Herd's Allies / Rivals
/ / . Obviously, Herds of your opposite Alignment will be Rivals. Neutral Herds can either be Rivals or Allies. You can always change / update this as you Roleplay.
●●●●xxx> > Fill Out the Form!
/ / . Fill out the form below - please be as detailed as possible. When finished, post it here AND PM it to HoA Herds.

Jacques was tired of spending his life simply hunting. He was looking for a purpose in life. He had a few views he never acted much on. Such as a hatred for humans and a general like for torturing those he consider lessors. He hoped in finding members to his herd he can make ground of ridding some of the world of its human population while having fun doing it. The herd is only active at night seeing as their leader can not see the sun.
