The lion crouched lowly, his ears back. Tesoro's bright eyes flickered around as he crawled about on his belly, looking for something to hunt. His nose twitched some, smelling something fresh near by, before he tilted his head and walked quietly toward a meadow-y like brush that was near by. His head tilted, the lion let out a low growl as he stood there, staring from one end to the other. He wanted something to eat.
Near by, Bellezza sat and grazed on some grass, her eyes closed. Her ear flicked some, before she looked over toward the way that the male lion had gone. Eyes flickering, she got up, and walked quietly that way, her head tilted some. "Tesoro?" She called quietly, her silver hair falling into her face as she walked.

Ab was enjoying the heat, he always favoured the summer, winter was far to cold in his opinion. But thne you never needed to ask it as the colder it was the more of a sour puss he became. Today was however a lovely warm summer day and he was resting in the grass enjoying the sun. He had never really gotten out the habit of laying in the grass, it was more comfortable than the rock or dirt where he would show up better. He wasn't alone however, his companion was not fair away, in fact the rabbit was in easy distance of seeing the resting stallion, the stallion being prone to having disaster befall him, but that was another story.Gallant was in fact looking up at a tree, the little rabbit wishing for a change that he was a squirrel, or that his friend favoured a fruit that didn't grow in a tree. Carrots, strawberries and the like he could find, but no this one had fallen in love with cherries, and so Gallant was looking up at a tree full of cherries and wondering how to get some down for his friend. Though something else caught his attention, he could hear some faint rustling, distracting him from the pursuit of fruit, though he had no idea what it was, his ears upright and moving a little, listening carefully, glancing to his stallion friend as he lowers down to all 4 paws ready to run.

Tesoro growled lowly in his throat, his body lowering to the ground. The tip of his white tail flicked, long strands dragging on the ground. He slowly moved forward, bright eyes locked on the rabbit. He crouched lower, shoulders shaking some as he adjusted his stance, before he started to run forward, foot fall hard on the ground, and jumped at the rabbit. His paws landed over the small form, aiming to pin the rodent under him, roaring loudly.
Bellezza blinked, knowing the noise. She quickly shifted, trotting out toward where the two creatures were. Ears perked, she stared before shaking out her head and frowned, almost in a scolding manor, ears pinning back against her head. "Tesoro! No! Bad lion!" She said, walking forward and leaning nipping his tail. The movement caused the lion to snarl in irritation, backing up some, to eye the rabbit he had been oh so ready to hunt and eat.

Gallant looked up at the tree, pondering the ways in which to get the cherries out of it, and over to his companion. Sometimes he wondered why his friend couldn't have liked something easier to get hold of, but cherries were the stallions favourite, and when Gallant had seen the tree of them near where his friend rested he had come over to get some if he could. Looking over to the resting stallion, most wouldn't notice it as he was always so good natured but the rabbit could tell that his friend was down in the dumps behind his ready smile. Looking back to the cherries the rabbit was more resolved to get some and cheer his friend up.
Looking round hearing the slight growl, it was close, too close, and too late. By the time he had spotted the lion he was pinned under it looking rather terrified. As a green rabbit he had usually been quite well hidden in grass, but the red on his ears could act like a beacon to whatever was near.... And hungry. Gulping, his eyes flicking, having been about to yell for help from the green stallion that was pretty much totally obscured in the grass when a mare appeared and scolded the lion. Scurrying off behind the tree and eyeing the large cat before looking at the mare. Keeping an eye on the lion again, not sure it wasn't going to attack him again. "I'm not for dinner, there will be trouble if I get eaten." Betting they hadn't spotted his companion, few did, which is why the fellow often woke to being kicked or trodden on when he rested in the grass.

Bellezza snorted softly toward Tesoro, her nostrils flaring somewhat, before she shook out her mane, and looked down toward the small rabbit. He was cute, small and green, with little red ears. And he seemed frightened beyond belief. Well, if she had to keep a tighter leash on the lion to make sure he didn't do anything wrong, she would. Her eyes locked on the lion scoldingly, staring him down, before he let out a low noise, and moved to stand behind her, away from the rabbit. He laid there, somewhat huffing, before laying his head over his own paws, ears pinning back in an almost angry fashion.
She turned her attention back to the little rabbit, her head lowering some as she took a small step forward, hoping she wasn't being too intimidating toward him. "I'm sorry about Tesoro, little one. He can be a bit rough sometimes. The little lion doesn't know the difference between food and friends. Are you all right?" She said, her voice soft like silk. Her head tilted somewhat, causing the bangs to shift over the not marked side of her face.

Gallant found himself looking at the pair, not quite as forgiving as the mare seemed to want him to be, but then he had almost been dinner. Not really answering but instead bounding off into the grass and hiding as best he could under the stallions mane. Wiggling and tugging till he was as hidden as the shorter hair could make him, though his red edged ears still poked out.
Abloec woke to tugging and a lot of wiggling, his head lifting to look round, the rabbit dangling from his mane a moment before hopping to his back. Yawning and looking round, seeing the mare and her familiar but looking to the rabbit on his back as he stands. "What's going on Gallent, you don't usually act like that?"
The rabbit felt safer now, it was on the stallions back and the stallion was a little larger than the average. "That lion was going to eat me!...." Almost falling off the stallions back in horror as he wandered close to the damndable lion.
Ab smiles at the mare and looked at the lion and sighed. "Don't eat my friend please." Lifting his head again regarding the mare through his read tinted shades. "If you saved Gallant thank you, usually I'm the one in need of help so this is an unusual change around of fortune." Smiling still, he was a cheerful laid back sort unless he had to be otherwise... or it was cold...
