Death Charge Alpha StopMyClock So to sum it all up: Be realistic. Am I right? Yeah that's it in a nutshell. Thought so. Dunno why people would think that they could have whatever. Niko/Nick should say in the Weapons: [BE REASONABLE]

Just so we are clear on this: the AK-47 is in fact an auto-semi auto rifle, not a machine gun. MG's such as the M1919 Browning Machine Gun, the M60, or the M249 SAW are weapons with high power and high capacity clips, meant for laying down covering fire. Rifles such as the AK-47, M16A4, M40A1 Springfield, or any SASS rifle are meant for controlled, high powered shots to take out targets quickly and effectively. Don't get them mixed up because there are big differences in them. BTW I live on a military base so I see the Armory quite often and I study the weapons, therefore I know what i'm talking about.

Doesn't really matter. Everyone would know what he means, just like you did. I'm sure plenty of people think of guns like AK's when they think of machine guns. The only difference is that one is fully auto and the other is semi auto.

The only difference is that one is fully auto and the other is semi auto. Well, that being said, I feel that the selection is quite limited, wouldn't you agree? Sure, those are some common weapons in zombie movies, but who's to say during a REAL zombie apocalypse, people wont find more modern or powerful weapons to fight zombies? Who's to say that someone couldn't go to a deserted military base, load up on supplies, and steal a bunch of guns and ammo, and possibly a vehicle? Also, I often see dogs in zombie movies, but they always die. What if someone had a trained attack dog that could actually kill zombies? What IF someone were to be immune to the infection, huh? You guys are trying to play by a set of rules, but your ignoring the fact that in a zombie apocalypse, anything goes. If they wanted to, a kid could fire a 20mm. Not realistic, yes, but it can happen, and your all ignoring that.

Not realistic, yes, but it can happen, and your all ignoring that. I don't really see the point in your arguing because it's not doing much. Sure people can go to a military base and stock up. We had an RP set on a military base. There's no way a dog could chomp down on a zombie's skull and crush it (since we all know that the only way to kill a zombie is by attacking it's brain). It seems like if Ace were to bite a zombie, he would get infected. That's like a person eating a zombie. Seems like there's a consensus that consuming the infected infects you. What makes that immune person so special? Does the infection just not decide to attack him? Is his brain special? Is he not like everyone else? That seems like some sci-fi stuff there. It seems like there's also a consensus that people are made essentially the same and no one's invulnerable to infections. That's like not catching the common cold. That 10 year old (I'm picturing him as a 10 year old) scrawny kid surely can pull a trigger on a big a** rifle that's twice his size, but chances are, it's gonna be aimed at the ground. My friend is having some trouble holding his 20mm rifle here. "Not realistic, yes, but it can happen, and your all ignoring that." We're ignoring these fantasies? Of course and that's because they're just that. Fantasies. In a ZA, you're not gonna see a kid successfully wielding even a .45. Any other questions, comments, or concerns?
