Rules

arrow Read THIS thread. It will most likely have other questions you have answered as well as an example of how to do an RP Event (even though it is incomplete, it gives you the basic idea). If you are still confused after reading this over, PM or Quote me in thread.
arrow Sign up on time. Do not PM me last minute asking to sign up when you have had the whole week to. If you are not sure what time you are available, just sign up for all the rounds, but keep in mind you are only allowed to attend one round. I'm very picky on this because I create these obstacles. I need to know how much to plan for. I also need to take into account if someone's Stats is higher than the other so that the game can be fair and fun.
arrow No shows will not be tolerated. Lately there have been a string of players who sign up and then don't attend at their chosen time. That wastes my time and as a college student with a part-time job, I do not appreciate that. Therefore, as of now (September 27, 2011), if you sign up for a game and miss it three (3) consecutive times without a proper excuse (deemed proper by myself), you are not allowed to attend RP Events for one (1) month. A second infraction (another three consecutive months) gives you three (3) months. A third infraction (another three consecutive months) give you six (6) months and so on. I do this to make sure that you are absolutely positive that you will show up to the game. I don't need to waste a Sunday afternoon if I don't need to. The player has up to one month from the missed game to send me a PM of their excuse.
arrow Keep an eye on the time. I'm human and I may forget to start game. Quote me or send me a PM reminding me of your time.
arrow Read the post. Nine times out of ten, the answer to your question is here. If not, quote me in thread or PM me.
arrow In calculations, decimals do not count. I understand that not everyone's stats can be divided equally by five. So here is how it works - if it's 0.1 - 0.4, round the number down. If it is 0.5 - 0.9, round the number up, I will be checking math to make sure everyone does it correctly.
arrow Do NOT cheat. This includes deleting posts with dice rolls or editing the math to work it in your favor. If you are found out, depending on the severity, you could easily lose your chance to participate in RP Events for the rest of the month.
arrow Questions or Concerns? PM me. I am not a mind reader therefore I do not know when I have possibly done something wrong. If you believe there is something going on (unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, harassment, etc.) please PM me or send me an instant message on AIM.
arrow Have Fun. This is the most important rule really. Have fun with your posts and RPing with each other. Even if you don't win, you still have points and you had a great experience.

Tarma's time in the woods has been enjoyable. She chased some birds, watched bugs crawl all over the ground, and even got to follow a butterfly weaving through the woods. As the young filly turns to find her way out of the forest, she realizes she took too many turns and went too far! Tarma thinks for a moment before coming to two options: She can either pick a direction and run as fast as she can or she can attempt to follow her faint tracks back from where she came from.

2 Strike Rule before disqualification. Last Azrein standing wins.

First Task - Either go blindly into a direction OR carefully pick your path back out.

Formula - Roll between 20 and 30. Then calculate - Speed OR Intelligence/5 = Y. Y x 2 = X.

X + Whatever you roll = Final number. 33 or over, you win.

Tarma paused and looked around at the forest pressing in all around her. She had chased a pretty butterfly without paying attention to where she had been going. She had grown tired of the game and watched the butterfly flitter away, then nosed around some interesting mushrooms for a bit. She heard a bird call in the distance and looked up... that's when she had realized she was in trouble.. she was lost.

Her first instinct was to panic. Her nostrils flared and she turned her head this way and that, taking frantic steps in all directions, heart pounding. How was she going to find her way out of here?

Taking a deep breath, she told herself to calm down and think. She could find a way out of this place. Should she take a chance and just run for it, hoping she would break free of the trees eventually? Or should she try and track her way back out? She didn't know how far she had come, or how direct the way back would be if she tried to follow her own trail.. but that seemed like a better option that running away blindly.

She put her head down and started to search for signs that would show her the way back out.

12 / 5= 2.4 --> 2
2 x 2 = 4
4 + 20 = 24

((Hope I did that right!))

[[ You did wonderfully! That's exactly right. ]]

As much as the young foal tried, she could not perceive her hoof prints in the dirt. However, she did manage to come across a fork in the woods. Tarma distinctly remembers that she did come from one of these paths..but which one?

2 Strike Rule before disqualification. Last Azrein standing wins.

Second Task - Pick a trail, any trail!

Formula - Roll between 20 and 30. Then calculate - Luck/5 = Y. Y x 2 = X.

X + Whatever you roll = Final number. 25 or over, you win.

Tarma searched and searched, but was unable to make out her hoofprints in the dirt. She must had trampled over any evidence of her passing during her panicked episode. Sighing softly, she began to walk in a wide circle, struggling to find evidence of her passing.

She came to an area that looked mildly familiar.. she thought she had seen those bright flowers as she was following the butterfly. Head held low, eyes searching the ground, she found a small path. Maybe she had come along it? She decided to follow it for a bit, and eventually came upon a fork in the middle.

Frowning to herself, she struggled to remember which way she might have come. There were red and orange flowers down one path, and those interesting mushrooms down the other. Pondering for a minute, she decided to go down the right hand path with the flowers, thinking that maybe the butterfly had flitted from flower to flower.

10 / 5 = 2
2 x 2 = 4
4 + 29 =33

Tarma's choice of going down the flower path seemed to be even more familiar to her. There were a few flowers that looked like she had tramped through them. It was clear that she was on the right path. That is, until she reached a block in the path. A small tree had cracked and fallen over due to old age. It looked large but maybe Tarma could push it out of the way enough for her to get by or by the looks of it, jump over the thing. That is, if she was strong enough.

2 Strike Rule before disqualification. Last Azrein standing wins.

Third Task - Push the tree out of the way or jump over it.

Formula - Roll between 20 and 30. Then calculate - Strength/5 = Y. Y x 2 = X.

X + Whatever you roll = Final number. 28 or over, you win.

As Tarma walked down the path, it did indeed seem to be more and more familiar to her. She was almost certain she had followed the butterfly through these flowers. She noticed a few smashed and crushed flowers, that appeared as if something had walked through them.

Growing more confident, she raised her head pricked her ears forward in anticipation of actually making her way out of this forest maze. She walked faster, glancing around to make sure she was still on the right track.

Everything seemed to be going fine until she came upon a small tree in the middle of the path. She furrowed her brow and frowned. She didn't remember having to pass a fallen tree... although as she got closer for a better look at it, the tree appeared to have broken recently, so maybe it hadn't been there when she came this way the first time.

But how to pass it? She pushed against it gently with her head, then her shoulder, testing how heavy it was. It seemed to be a little heavy for her, but she might be able to move it. She stepped back and tried to judge how high it was as well.. maybe she could jump over it? She reared up on her hind legs and placed her small hooves on the tree trunk. She was able to see over it.. it didn't seem too high to jump.

She stepped back again and thought about which would be more logical for her to attempt. She was a small foal, but sturdy. She was also pretty fast when she wanted to be... She decided to try and jump over it, but backed up so she could get a running start.

Putting a great amount of effort into it, she began to run forward as fast as she could go. When she got close enough to the tree, she gathered all her remaining strength and leapt, praying that she would make it over.

13 / 5 = 2.6 --> 3
3 x 2 = 6
6 + 21 = 27

The round is over. Tarma eventually makes it home with a few scrapes and bruises, but most unharmed.

Thanks for playing and I hope you had a good time! Please add 2% to one attribute.
