And he got his bold, show-friendly nature, alright... In red. Normally, King would have been sold off to whoever would take him, but upon a visit home, Noah saw him and immediately fell in love. He couldn't see why his father wouldn't; color variations were a glorious thing to behold, and if one was lucky enough to have one, then good on them! Noah paid top dollar for King Marshand, and brought him home to Utopia, the breeding ranch. While there, they saw advertisements for a pokemon shelter that gave homes to unwanted pokemon. Like anyone would ever NOT want a pokemon, right? But on one of these flyers was a beautiful, beautiful electrike. Noah was certain she was already taken, but was roused into hunting down the shelter in hopes that the shiny electrike was still there. And as luck would have it, she was; the pokemon wouldn't leave her kennel for anyone. Upon meeting Noah, Victoria was coaxed from her kennel, and Noah took her home to Utopia. He watched the Beaumont children grow up, and watched as they all wandered away. All but the Girl. And he worried, because The Girl was like her mother, and he did not want The Girl to fall into the same trouble as her mother. When The Girl moved away, far, far away, he was sad, and so was his trainer. When his trainer passed away, Jabir was packed into a pokeball he hadn't seen the inside of for years, and arrived at the doorstep of The Girl, ready to serve his trainer's daughter and protect her for his trainer.
