Tsisqua was doing his usual routines after taking care of his ..crazy.. family and making sure nothing was disorderly. Which, with a family that is half-OCD isn't that hard to do. Since they tended to pick up after all the ADHD ones.. With a huff the large seer glanced around the pride lands. It seemed the usual. Calm, quiet, unmoving. Like it had been all his life within the pride. Which, was all his life.
Not that he had time on his own often to roam away from the misconduct of those who were to hyper to notice when they did something wrong. Tsisqua had already been the father of his family when they all descended into the Juvenile stage and their personalities began to surface. Being the largest of the siblings too it wasn't that hard to act the parent-part. With a shake of his pelt, he would go towards the small waterhole and take a good sip of it. A feeling of not being alone crawled up the large male's back.

There was the watering hole. She was thirsty, of course, otherwise she wouldn't be in this part of the Clan's lands. It seemed she wasn't alone. There was a large male, obviously born into the pride by his elaborate tattoos. Scar supposed she'd seen him around, but the lioness had absolutely no idea what his name was.
You'd think she'd be better about that, given that the Shadow Clan was not the largest in the Ela'wadiyi.
The brown lioness strode to the water and quenched her thirst, but not once did her eyes leave the male. She called it force of habit, but it might have been more than that. He was, after all, a big strong lion, and easy enough on the eyes. But though he hadn't made any threatening moves towards her, or any for that matter, didn't mean he wouldn't. At least, that was what her former life as a Rogue said.
So she kept a silent watch on him.

Watching the female join him after a sip he lifted his head and turned it towards her. Noticing no tattoos on the female he thought of his mother and blinked a little. His mother called them rogues. Or was-once rogues. His mother always seemingly awkward towards the idea of talking on that rank outside in the wilderness. So Tsisqua did the right thing and never asked.
But with a bow of his head he gave her a greeting. The female seemed on edge, which was odd. But nonetheless he shrugged a little and went on his way to greet her. Getting up and sitting close by her. "Greetings, I have been in Shadow Clan long but.. I gather we stay on the opposing sides?" He had seen her at least once. Non-tattoed tend to stick out in the crowd. "My name is Tsisqua Waya, son of Anuli and Nekoda Waya." He said it as formally as he could. It was obvious he was a Hunter. So! That's all he had really. Not one to pick up conversations with those outside of his family.

Tishkari watched as the lion came to her. Her lips twitched as he spoke - obviously this one was no charmer, as his words came like pebbles from his mouth, rather than drops of water. This had the effect of relaxing the lioness, for she was more inclined to trust someone who was clearly shy over the most gregarious of lions.
"I've seen you around," she replied shortly in response to his question. Indeed, he - Tsisqua - was rather hard to miss, what with that green mane and purple tattoos.
"I'm Tishkari," she added after the silence had stretched almost to the breaking point between them.

But Tsis wasn't shy, just.. Nonchalant on life. Maybe that's what was different about his aspects. That he would rather make life not-so-hard. Little things in life amazed and amused him. He was rather laid back and let his sisters decorate him in giggles.
When she said she remembered him, he gave way a bit of a blush and tilted his head. There were a lot of his siblings. However he was the one most decorated in both their parents' colours. His bands a purple instead of red, blue or green. "I have seen you around as well." He prompted. Glancing away at the water for a moment. "I probably seem silly to you. Trying.. to amp up some sort of conversation." His tail flicked. He smiled to her humbly as he glanced down at her body.
His size had always off-balanced and made him feel self-esteemish. Since he was a Seer's height. There was no declining the questions about his sights and his problems with sleeping.

Did his face get darker? Was he blushing? She couldn't tell, his brown fur was so dark to begin with. And he'd seen her too. Well, it wasn't exactly a large Clan, and she did kind of stick out, not having any tattoos. But had he seen her or just noticed her? Tishkari would love to know the difference, but now wasn't the time to ask, she felt. It might never be.
"Nah," Scar replied, waving off his self-effacing comments. "I'd rather not be stuck talking to some lion who thinks he's all that and wants to share himself with the world." She hadn't met quite as many of those in the Ela'wadiyi, but had seen plenty in the world beyond. Self-centered idiots, for the most part, and not worth the effort their parents had put into raising them.
"You're...much nicer than those guys," she finished lamely. She didn't really know Tsis that well, and didn't want to presume too much. Nor did she want to end up burned and spurned later.

When she expressed how nice he was, he shifted his head and his two tone mane moved with it. "But you've heard little from me.." He was intrigued. "Very interesting." Had she been a seer as well? His father told him once with a spurt of father..tism? That his seer side should be a bit of a secret. His knowledge on it an ever more of a secret then the former.
"Mind you, we share the same input. I am not one to converse with those who are judgmental, sleazy and to.." He searched for his word. "Fancy? I think that works. One who thinks to much about his or her self then.. The other." He huffed a little. That made some sense right?
"So.." He noted." Where would you be from? If.. Not from here initially? If that is share-able."

Scar supposed that it was a question to expect in this pride. She'd always be marked as an outsider by birth. And, truthfully, it wasn't as if she had a great deal to conceal on that front. It just got a bit old as far as things to come up in conversation went.
"I think self-centered is the word you want," she offered Tsis. Did it mean anything that he'd had to search so for that term? Was his experience so limited, so naive? She didn't want to think that he was some kind of idiot, though it was another possibility.
"No place in particular," Tishkari answered. She'd spent her life roaming up until the Ela'wadiyi, never staying in one place more than a few moons. There was a stability here, with ranges large enough that even a pride of lions didn't hunt them out before the generations could renew. It was...cozy...not having to worry and fret about where she'd be a moon from now.
"I'm guessing you've not traveled much," she went on, as it seemed the conversation was dying. She was surprised at herself, that she wanted it to continue on.

"Self-centered. Sorry.. I didn't get much sleep last night. Crazy family.. Sometimes one of my brothers never goes to bed till almost dawn and insists I stay up with him.." He smirked into the air a bit. He loved his family. It was all he really had to call his own. Mind you, he always had to share everything with them.
Funny how things are but aren't.
"No place in particular." He never thought about being out there and free. His eyes looked out towards the Clan's edge and tilted his head. "Been away, but not far. Not that I'm not naive about what's out there. I've heard tales of other prides to be honest. And my mother's from outside the pride.. She's told me stories." He looked at her. "I've been to busy all my life so far to be much of a traveler. I also am always in charge of keeping the family in line." He didn't like talking about himself. But she seemed intrigued.
"Someday I would like to see out there. But I have a lot of things leaning against me, really."

She nodded. It was a pleasant surprise that he actually had been outside the pride before. That meant that, however inept he might be in getting some ideas across, he actually did have experience of more than just this place and this pride. It was also interesting to note that his mother had been a former rogue, much like Scar herself. That boded well for her chances here...
"Your mother, eh? Is she comfortable here then?" Tishkari stopped abruptly as she realized what she'd asked, and heard the longing in her own voice. The lioness hadn't even considered that part of the reason she was still so defensive might be because this place, the Ela'wadiyi, were not yet "home" for her. But could it really be that simple?
"It's not worth it," she went on, a bit thickly. "Nothing you need to see out there that can't be found in here."

"She's got a family." He insisted kindly. "She loves my father.. As odd as a couple they are. But nonetheless. Comfortable is a good word." He never heard from his mother about issues pertaining to his father.
He did pick up the longing but he quieted about it when she stopped abruptly. He felt her inner conscience was in a more of a flight-mode then a relaxed one.
Looking to her when she said it was not worth to go out there he steadied himself to sit on his haunches. His muscles pushing up his mane a little as he did. "It's all of a curiousity. Someday you'll have to tell me about it then.. Doesn't need to be today however." He gave her an option. Bending over to lick his newest and last tattoo for some time. It was still aching but he had been so used to it now. He was head to tail decorated in them.

Tishkari got the sense that she'd understand more of what Tsisqua was saying if she knew his family in more than passing glances of lions who lived in the Shadow clan. But she didn't really want to pry. Nor did she really want to know right now.
But...a family. It wasn't something Scar had ever really had. Had a family made this place feel like home for Tsis' mother? And could it do the same for her?
"Someday," she replied quietly, watching him. She couldn't help feeling like an outsider in this pride, though she'd been here for several moons. All she wanted, all she really wanted, was to belong. But she was afraid to let him, or anyone, in to see if they really were the right fit.
Her sense of what would work wasn't helping her at all now, and she wished she could ask someone for that help.

Tsisqua's eyes lifted from his leg and he hummed a little. "You want to question me?" He asked bluntly. Then he noticed what he asked and that his cover was practically blown. His empathic abilities vibrating through his thought process. "...On a few things.. You can go ahead if you want.. I won't bite." He kind of teased her a little to cover up for his empathic waves.
He tensed a little and then exhaled. His weight shifting again. "Do not think I do not want you here Tishkari. You were an outsider before. You are an Elawadiyi now. Do not let my questions about outside hurt you, it is just a meer cub-like thought. To be honest, it intrigues me yet.. I see you as my brethren and my pride. Not as a rogue foaming for home. You have obviously found one."

The lioness looked up, green eyes wide. Why had he asked that? How...how had he known? She'd never ever had anyone read her mind before...usually she was the one who just knew things and disoriented others. Did Tsisqua have the same knack as she did?
And then he went on. About how this was a home - her home. How she was no longer a rogue. She realized that really, the only reason she still thought of herself as one was because she was too afraid to allow this place to be the home she longed for. How screwed up was that for a mindset?
"Tsisqua Waya," her voice came out little louder than a whisper, "will you help me make this place my home?"

He felt her mood lighten and he tilted his head a little. Maybe mere questions helped her out? If so, his job wasn't going to be as hard as he thought. Then he felt it. He lifted his head a little and blinked.
She had that same thing he did. Somewhere under all that, his heart pumped harder. So mother was right. There were other Seers around.
Tilting his head a little he noticed what she meant by that. He felt that and he blinked, his own green widening at the female. "Wow my mother said this would happen fast. But. I gauged it wrong." He blurted again. He thought for a moment. He was usually made up to be a weirdo and his family was somewhat pushed aside for it. Mind you his dad wasn't really the most.. shy of the lions around. He did pounce on a God and proclaim she had freakin' wings before Tsis was even a twinkle in his e-- his mother's eye.
He answered her after a thought. "Are there no other suitors out there? Elawadiyi is a large pride.." He was asking just for closure before he rushed into that proposal..
