Jaded, cynical... Not the nicest guy on the block. Beware of teeth.
History:
Born the eldest of a litter of five, Lazaros has always shouldered the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings. Naturally calm in the face of adversity and unafraid to use his size and strength to solve his problems, he became the protector of the lot.
In his adolescence, he was sold to a budding musher along with two siblings, each chosen for his or her individual traits: Lazaros for his large size and brute strength, Layla for her quick wit and speed, and Lochan for his adaptability. In this new environment, the three siblings thrived.
Then, early on in their adulthood, tragedy befell the trio. While out for a walk one day with Lochan, the two encountered a pack of strays. Eager to defend their territory, the strays attacked the two huskies, ganging up first on the weaker of the two. The humans nearby did nothing to break up the fight until too much damage had been done, and Lochan died two days later in intensive care.
The incident drew Lazaros' attention to the inherent brutality and apathy of both mankind and dogs, and he grew disillusioned with the world, learning to see only the worst in others. And having failed in his mission to protect his family, Lazaros now lives for nothing other than to keep them safe.
