[ OOC: THIS IS SLIGHTLY MATURE - IT IS GAIA SAFE, but please, PLEASE don't read if you're not okay with some heavy duty making out and some leering and possible insinuations of things! ]

Shuffle. Shuffle. Shuffle. Pause.

One terrible and very much unwanted witch eater lurked about somewhere he definitely was not supposed to be. Not that this was of any issue to him, obviously.

Shuffle. Shuffle. Oh, what was in here? There was a very soft, almost inaudible 'swoosh' as a refrigerator door was opened. Quickly followed by the examination of the contents within. Nothing very interesting in there, sadly. Nor in the freezer. Or the cabinet drawers (except a hidden stash of something sweet that would probably give him a sugar high). Thus, the kitchen was checked out and deemed: BORING.

Which was pretty much how every other room went. Remiel moved silently around, curious about the living space of this particular man. Except nothing really caught his interest long enough for him to linger in any one room. At least not until he finally entered the one he'd saved for last.

Xander's bedroom.

Slipping in silently, Remiel took a moment to look around the room from where he stood. But his eye kept coming back to the bed. And it's occupant. Didn't he just look delicious laying there, all peaceful like - or at least not trying to kill him with a glare of death - sound asleep?! Oh there was a fantastic grin along Remiel's face as he walked slowly to the bed. A finger traced along the edge, feeling the soft fabric beneath it. Nice. Not as nice as his own bed, but not bad.

Wonder where he keeps his snake at night? Maybe somewhere I can search for it? Like under the covers~

It was a personal skill of his, being able to crawl onto a bed without the occupant being aware. A skill he'd had a....long time to perfect. It allowed him to sit and stare (like a creeper) at the form before him. So...vulnerable and unaware of what lurked about his home...

Since he was not one for being good with time, Remiel wasn't able to say how long he sat and stared before moving into a much more comfortable position. Except his face was much less serious as he gazed at the sleeping form of Xander.

How long has it been, my black rose, since you had a warm body lay beside yours?

Really, he amused himself way too much with his dirty jokes and terrible ways. At least Xander wasn't waking to a naked body straddling his. As tempting as that might have been. Though Remiel did debate wriggling under the covers...

The day had been a long one - too long, at least in Xander's mind. He had spent the better part of his morning trying to sort out a much-too-large mess in his classroom (due to some students of his deciding they were going to practice their magic in the corridors and things had gotten out of hand rather quickly), and the better part of his afternoon grading the papers he had been putting off looking at for weeks now.

Needless to say, when Xander returned home to his apartment later that evening, he was utterly spent.

He lived in the Academy Town - it made the commute easier - in a small townhouse by itself. Xander had managed to weasel it for himself for a better price than it had originally been offered, and it was rather nice. All dark paneling and cherry wood furniture, the fixtures subtle and quiet. There weren't many decorations - Xander wasn't exactly known for his decorating prowess - but it was neat and tidy all the same, and there were a few paintings hanging here and there.

The bedroom matched the rest of the house, with a single large, king sized bed in the middle of the room and about a dozen pillows stacked neatly across the top. He may have been a cold, selfish b*****d most of the time, but Xander did enjoy sleeping a great deal when he got the chance of it.

Now he moved tiredly across the room, pulling off his tie and discarding it on the dresser, followed by his coat. He changed into a pair of sweatpants, not bothering to put on a shirt, and climbed into his bed, pulling the luxurious silk sheets up and promptly falling asleep straight away.

It was, perhaps, a little past midnight when he felt it. Xander's eyes flicked sleepily awake, blinking blearily, but the room was dark, and he could not make out anything - except for the feel of someone next to him, someone behind him, in the bed with him.

What the hell...

Xander's fingers slipped silently beneath his pillow, curling around the small metal object he habitually kept there.

One...two...

Quickly he flipped over, the dagger in his hand flashing silver in the moonlight from the half open window. In the blink of an eye, Xander was sitting on top of the intruder, the knife pressed against the throat of -

"Remiel," Xander hissed, his breath low, the tip of the blade tucked beneath the blonde man's jaw. He did not know long the witch eater had lain there, but it disgusted him, and Xander kept him pinned where he was, pressing the knife further down to keep him from moving.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

He was both bored and quite comfortable. This bed was still not as nice as his own, but Remiel had to admit it was a good second. The boredom came from the fact he was just...laying there. Doing nothing. He'd already managed to braid a small section of Xander's hair - the strands closest to him that weren't trapped beneath the man's body. In fact, aside from that, Remiel had not touched the other at all. Just lay there. Next to him. Occasionally looking over and staring at him.

Normally, he might have been able to just lay there contentedly, using his presence alone as a means for disturbing one's confidence in themselves. Especially when it dawned on them that they had no idea how long he may have been there or what he could have done. That look was always his favorite part. The small flicker of fear that crossed their eyes. The rational part of their minds faltering. Yes, he enjoyed being the cause of it. And enjoyed having the ability to do that by just being there, having done nothing.

Except tonight. It had to have been those damn sweetie things he stole. Remiel was having difficulty just laying there doing nothing.

At least when Xander finally woke up, things got more exciting.

"If I didn't know any better, Xander, I'd say you enjoy ending up in such...tasteful positions with me." Remiel grinned lazily, hands curling around the back of his legs, nails lightly pressing through the fabric of the sweatpants to graze skin. Once again, there was complete disregard for the fact he had a knife under his jaw.

"I came to visit, obviously." This said in a dry voice. "And see where you lived. You really should add a little more color and decorations to your home, Xander." He tsk-ed, eyes slowly moving from his face down that very much exposed chest. "The moonlight does wonders~" He murmured, quite enjoying the view. And having Xander sit on top of him. One tracked mind, he had it.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:37 am

Trust Remiel to make an entrance in his own way. There was nothing that ruffled the blonde man - or at least, nothing that Xander could remember (which wasn't much). No matter how many threats he issued, no matter how many cuts he made, the damn b*****d was relentless when he found something that interested him.

And apparently Xander was one of those "things." He wasn't sure whether to feel flattered or disgusted.

He settled for the latter.

"You're the one that starts these little positions," he said, in a low, dangerous voice. "Last I checked, you were the one that keeps invading in places you shouldn't be."

Xander could feel Remiel's hands against his legs, but he was studiously trying to ignore that, instead moving the blade in his fingers back a little, pressing the tip against the base of the man's throat.

"Get a good look, then," he hissed quietly. "Because this is all you're going to see for a very long time."

Sitting back, Xander let himself rest a bit, the knife still in place as he asked "What do you want Remiel? Why did you come back?"

Maybe it was something that a creature of his age was able to develop, or it was just a sign of some of the things that were clearly 'wrong' with the witch eater. There may have been, at some point long ago, when the young Remiel was much more normal. But that Remiel was long gone, lost to time and the horrors he and his twin had faced...and been the cause of themselves.

Remiel snickered, shifting a little under the man in a teasing manner. "True." He agreed, a sly curl forming along his lips. "But I had nothing to do with it this time. This was all you, my lovely black rose." Really, those low and dangerous hisses and tone of voice were doing nothing to help Xander out.

The hands against his legs had curled nicely around said legs - nicely muscled legs, he noticed - to a point that should Xander move, Remiel was most likely moving with him. Probably switching their positions. And wouldn't that just be fantastic!

"Oh I have gotten quite a good look. And probably will get more~" The last was murmured almost too softly to hear. Probably the only warning the poor man was going to ever get to expect Remiel to pop up unannounced again. And again. "Hmm...I wonder if my white lily would look as beautiful bathed in moonlight?" Now he was talking to himself, with a knife at his throat and a pissed off Xander sitting on top of him.

Mismatched eyes flickered back up to duel colored ones innocently. He shrugged a shoulder casually, answering truthfully. "I was bored and curious about you. You, who's older than you appear. Like my twin and I." Remiel paused, as if a sudden understanding had come to him. It was always a bad sign when his cheshire smile appeared.

"I think I know what your problem is, Xander my dear?! You just need to get laid, and thus won't be so cranky!" He laughed.

He should have just slit Remiel's throat right there, get it over and done with. If anything, it would make it so he wouldn't have to listen to the idiot blathering about whatever it was that went on in that mysterious, crazy head of his. But Xander's questions had not been answered, not yet, and he could not just kill him without getting at least a little information.

That, and killing him would make such a mess and he did not want to get his bed covered in bloodstains.

He couldn't stop the flinch that flashed across his face as Remiel shifted, the palest red dusting very briefly over Xander's cheeks - but it was quickly replaced by a dark, dangerous expression, anger dancing in his dual colored eyes. He wanted to reach down and move Remiel's hands away from his legs, but doing so would leave an opening for a potential attack, and he could not afford to let his guard down - not after he was already in exactly the wrong place to do so.

One black eyebrow rose.

"You came to visit me because I'm old?" said Xander, and gave a snort, shaking his head. His hair, which was unbound, fell across his shoulders and bare back in black and red waves, slightly mussed from sleep. "Your priorities are messed up. Just because I'm older than I appear doesn't have anything to do with you."

Really, he had not kept track of just exactly how old he was. He'd lost count over the years, but his age was irrelevant anyway, and Xander had more pressing matters to attend to in his life. Occasionally he found himself thinking about it, but since it did no good to dwell, he usually tried to refrain.

And unfortunately for Remiel - his last comment hit exactly where it shouldn't have.

A dark red flush covered Xander's face, which felt hotter than it should have. His fingers clenched so tightly around the dagger that his knuckles were white, and when he spoke it was through clenched teeth, the words hissed out.

"Not everyone is as free loving as you are, you b*****d," snapped Xander, pressing a hand flat against Remiel's chest, shoving him hard back on the bed. Why did he have to touch on THAT of all things?

His love life - or lack thereof - was, unfortunately for Xander, the one thing in his life that he had no control over and therefore it was severely unused. He did not have the luxury of finding someone like that, nor had he ever even given himself the chance - or, as he had told Althaia, he was married to his work, after all.

But even Xander held regrets he wished he did not.

"Don't," said Xander. "Bring that up."

One blonde eyebrow mirrored it's black counterpart. And there was a little more shifting beneath the man, because yes, Xander was not lucky enough for Remiel to have not noticed the very faint color that came to his cheeks. It was his job to notice these things!

"More or less." He shrugged again, a strange and sad smile falling across his features. "Perhaps you are still too young to understand why my twin and I would want to get to know another with the same curse of time." Huh. Now he was starting to sound like Miusa. Maybe he needed to go visit her next. And see if she had any cookies! Or if her bed was as comfy as this one and his own! Not to mention she, unlike Xander, had boobies he could grab.

Terrible. He was terrible.

Oh he'd hit that one right on the mark, hadn't he?! Remiel watched the dark flush that covered his black rose's face. To say he was expecting something like this reaction was partially true. Really, the idiot had been expecting to get his head bashed into something again. What he hadn't been expecting was what Xander actually said.

He was shoved hard into the bed, blinking up at the man with a blank look. Remiel was oddly quiet, mind obviously piecing things together like a puzzle. And then he was rolling them, hands holding tightly to the others legs until he had Xander pinned against the headset of his own bed. With Remiel still between his legs. Except now, one of his hands was placed at the base of Xander's throat, merely there to hold him in place and nothing more.

"Let me get this straight..." There was that odd look in his eyes and he was unusually serious. "You've never had a lover?" He shot him a dirty look as an afterthought. "And put the knife away. I promise I'll give you a free shot to stab me later."

Like it was any surprise, he completely ignored the warning of not bringing it up. Ooooh no. Remiel was on a mission now.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2012 8:37 pm

He didn't want to understand Remiel. In fact, the last thing Xander wanted to do was try and figure out the inner workings of the blonde haired man. There was something in it that he was wary of, something that made him uneasy and unnerved. The witch eater aspect played a large part of that unease, but there was something else as well - something that Xander could not put his finger on.

He did not like not knowing things. He hated not knowing things. Especially since the smile that Remiel flashed up on him was not his normal, leering smirk but something else entirely, something with actual emotion written in it. Xander's eyes narrowed slightly, noting this little detail, but he had no time to figure it out, nor did he particularly want to at the current moment.

At the current moment he was trying to figure out how best to proceed with the witch eater he was currently sitting on.

Why did he have to go and touch on that subject, of all things? Xander thought, his face still crimson. It wasn't that he was a prude - hell, he made jokes that were worse than what Remiel was implying - but the idea of having just that - having a lover, having someone he could confide in, share his life with, was so incredibly ludicrous, so incredibly distant that he had not even allowed himself to have those sorts of thoughts.

And then Remiel had had to come back and shatter all of his carefully made facade.

"What the - hell - "

He didn't have time to fight back, since one second he was on top, and the next Remiel had rolled them both sideways, and Xander was on his back, his head slamming a bit painfully against the headboard. One of Remiel's hands was pressed down against his throat, and Xander stared daggers up at the other, his fingers clenching around the small knife in his hand.

"I never said I had never had one," he snapped, flushing. "And what part of don't talk about it, did you miss? Do you have a hearing problem?"

He was not about to admit that it had been several years - decades even - since the term lover had even crossed his mind.

Remiel just sighed, looking down at the man. His black wings unfurled slightly to steady himself while those blonde strands formed a sort of 'blanket' around them both. Had Xander attempted to fight back, he'd have found it slightly difficult to throw the witch eater off.

He probably should have made some remark about the way they were so conveniently positioned now. Or the fact that yes, Remiel being...Remiel, enjoyed it. But here was proof that even the perverted witch eater was able to ignore that part of his mind.

Mostly.

For the first time since he'd returned to Makai, Remiel directed an annoyed look at the man beneath him. "Really? Are you really going to act like a little girl about this?" He huffed, then added absently in response to his question, "I have selective hearing~" And then he went in for the kill, kissing the man for a second time. The only difference with this kiss was the distinct lack of drain on his power. This was purely a simple (...somewhat simple) kiss.

A test. Let's see what you do, Xander dear.

He was quite determined to get Xander to fess up and admit that either he hadn't ever had a lover. Or was in desperate need of some assistance in that field.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:06 pm

The wings on either side of him made Xander more than a little uncomfortable. Besides not knowing things, his other pet peeve was not having an escape route handy. And Remiel sitting on him, with his wings curled around them, did not make things exactly easy when it came to escaping.

And what was with that clearly disgruntled look? Xander scowled up at Remiel, his face equally annoyed.

"I am not," he said, "a little..."

But Remiel was leaning closer now, and suddenly his lips were on his again, and Xander's protest was completely dissolved. He froze abruptly beneath the blonde man, waiting for the inevitable drain, but -

There wasn't any. At least not this time.

It's been way too long since I -

No! No, this is wrong, what the hell is wrong with me?!

Xander pulled his head away, just a little, trying to get some sense back into his head. His thoughts felt sluggish, and he felt tired and weary.

"Stop," he muttered angrily, but even to his own ears the word did not sound nearly as strong as he had intended it to. "Don't."

He felt it. Felt the way the man froze beneath him. How that slowly started to ebb away. Even the protest before had been pretty much forgotten. And Remiel had his answer in the responses of body verses mouth.

Although Xander's mouth was enjoyable...

Remiel stared at him with hooded eyes that held a glint of mischief. That had been a pretty lame 'stop' coming from Xander. Considering how thunderous everything else he'd said before was in comparison. He wanted to lean in again, keep the man from talking at all, but that was not his intention now. A wicked grin split his face, black wings disappearing to fold against his back. With a bounce, Remiel was no longer on top of Xander and wasn't even on the bed anymore. He stood next to it, hands twisting his own hair up in a partial bun.

"Right then. Get up, you little girl." He teased, though his demand was serious. "We're gonna play a little game here." Remiel tapped his chin, debating on how to go about this. "Don't be fussy, now c'mon!" He tugged at one of Xander's feet to encourage his movements.

"Now, I want you to try and seduce me. And don't give me that look!" He waved a hand, glancing around the room. "Look, would it help if I made you try and seduce me and your snake?" Remiel crossed his arms, a challenging look appearing. "Not that I think you can do it~"

And so, his game had begun.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:27 pm

And just like that, it was over.

Xander was not happy - either with Remiel, or himself. He felt humiliated that he had actually enjoyed the kiss - he really shouldn't have, and he kept telling himself that he didn't, that it disgusted him - and he would never admit it in a million years. But truth be told, it had been...longer than he had ever thought. Years. Decades.

Time flies, doesn't it?

There was a small whoosh as Remiel rolled off and disappeared from the bed, standing beside it. Slowly, warily, Xander sat up, pushing his own mussed hair back away from his face.

"You want me to...seduce you," he said flatly, in a tone that completely screamed are you utterly insane? "Why..."

But he was too tired to argue. Xander reached a hand up, rubbing his face.

"Fine," he said. "Fine. I'll play your stupid game. But what do I get if I win?"

Remiel just stood there, arms crossed and one blonde eyebrow slowly raising as he watched Xander. His dark counterpart in looks. "Because you clearly need a gentle 'push' in the right direction. Or are lacking...something." The last was not even said as a jest! He was actually serious about all this. Though there was no helping the amusement.

"And I still don't think you have it in you anyways." He sighed, almost sadly. Mocking the other man. Reissuing his challenge.

And then those magic words were said. The ones where Xander agreed. And asked that dangerous question. Remiel's eyes narrowed and that smile! It was dangerous. And not in the 'I am a monster' sort of dangerous. No, this was the kind that could probably make a few hearts skip beats and pull a blush out of others.

"What do you get if you win?" The blonde tilted his head slightly in thought. "Another kiss?" He teased, chuckling in a low tone. "And 'whatever you want' is no fun either." Remiel let his gaze flicker over Xander's features. He could see the weariness there. But the man had a spark in him, that was for sure! "You will gain the confidence and knowledge that you can succeed in finding what you desire. When the right one comes along." He paused. "Oh alright fine! You can stab me. Or do whatever you want."

"Now. Let's see what you can pull off. I dare you to seduce me."
PostPosted: Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:05 pm

Awkward. This was very awkward.

The look Xander now gave Remiel was a completely blank one.

"I am not," he said. "missing anything, thank you very much."

A slight pause.

"At least, nothing of importance."

This was only half true, since Xander was well aware he was missing several things - like the ability to give a damn most of the time. And apparently a lover, which he hadn't really wanted to admit. He had no qualms about whether that lover was male or female - though he definitely preferred the latter, and had never really done anything with the former (thank heavens).

And now Remiel was mocking him. Purposefully. Xander glowered at him, hating him for goading him and knowing that he could not very well step down from a challenge once it had been issued.

And the thought of stabbing Remiel was very tempting.

"Fine," he said again, and gave a sigh.

...what the hell am I even supposed to do? he thought, running a hand through his hair and eyeing Remiel, letting his gaze sweep up and down the man's figure. He was attractive, certainly, but trying to seduce him?

I'm getting too old for this. Which was not even that true, since he knew that Remiel was quite a bit older than he was. With another small sigh, Xander pushed himself to his feet, looking agitated as he pushed his hair away from his face. He stood there for a moment, arms folded across his bare chest, and then, slowly, hesitantly, he stepped forward towards the other man. Quietly, his lips pressed together in a thin line, an annoyed look on his face, Xander reached out, letting his hand rest against Remiel's hip. He let his fingers rest lightly along the waistband of his pants, trailing them over the top and lifting his eyes to meet his, his face a little flushed.

But still annoyed. Xander threw up his hands in exasperation. He stalked over to his dresser, where he yanked out a simple black button down shirt, threading his arms through the sleeves before turning back to Remiel.

"What the hell, I can't do this," he snapped, attempting to button up his shirt. In his irritation, he kept missing the actual buttonholes and wound up having to start all over again. "I don't know how to do this."

He was now just lightly twirling a stray strand of blonde hair. Watching first the blank look on Xander's face. Then the glower. Followed by the blonde man giving the other a look that clearly said he called bullshit.

"Uh huh." Remiel said with a roll of his eyes. "Keep telling yourself that and you'll fail."

Okay that glower was really starting to look sexy on him. He was starting to understand (after how many years?!) why Sariel thought his brooding was sexy to watch.

His lips twitched, though Remiel didn't smile. Not yet. He wanted to see what Xander could do. And if he could pull it off. So he merely nodded and waited. Studying his movements. His facial expression. Everything. Each would play it's own part in this little game. And being able to understand how to use each one to your advantage would make it all successful.

Good, good. He thought as eyes traveled up and down his body. A start anyways. Remiel almost sighed himself at the look on Xander's face. That needed to loosen up. Not be so full of scowling. It would just make someone uncomfortable. Unless you were Remiel of course. He didn't move...much...when a hand rested against his hip, fingers teasing along the waistband of his pants.

That flushed face is really amusing and lovely. He mused to himself, not quite falling for that touch.

And then Xander ruined it and Remiel sighed heavily.

"That would be a fail." He said dryly, turning to stare at him. "Ah, finally something honest admitted." Which he'd totally known from the beginning.

"Xanderrrr~" He purred out in exasperation.

Moving carefully and with fluid like ease, Remiel approached him. He snatched one of his hands gently in his own, halting the irritated attempt to button up the shirt. "First rule," Remiel murmured, his other hand reaching up to lightly trace along Xander's cheek and brush strands of his dark hair behind an ear. "Relax. Now, come here." He flashed a lazy smile, both hands grabbing his and dragging the poor man into the middle of the room. Where Remiel fussed with Xander's hair and buttoned a couple of the shirt buttons.

"Let's try this again, shall we? First, I want you to think about something that actually calms you. Makes you less cranky and scowl-y." As he spoke, his eyes traveled along his body. "And don't stand like a pole! Let your movements loosen up. It's less intimidating. Now try again."
