Wrath: He found himself on duty once more scouting out the two-leggers camp. Kouga seemed to be pushing it more and more, or at least that was how it seemed to Wrath. With a lazy stretch he took his time finding a good area to simply watch the two-leggers... yet as his eyes drifted over the strange structures that they came in and out of all day and night long, he found himself looking for something else... a certain wolf that had wlel and truly caught his attention. It was silly really, he knew nothing of her.
Sayen: Had been out running, her mother had been up late birthing a pup, and as she had woken and found herself restless and a little hungry she had gone out, she knew that when mother woke they would have food. She never wandered far into the forest, unlike her sister... So she skirted along the path, brushing against fragrant herbs as she walks.
Wrath: His ears twitched at a noise to his left, it sounded like the noises of a wolf and for a moment he wondered if Kouga had decided to come back for a second look... stubborn wolf. The breeze offered him no help, all he could scent was herbs and berries. With a shake of his head he decided to go in search of Kouga and make him go back... at least rest for an hour or two first. Yet as he wandered towards the spot his ears lead him he froze.... it was a wolf alright, but it wasn't Kouga.
Sayen: Frose as she comes nose to nose with a white wolf, gasping and stepping back, she had never met an outsider wolf before, she knew her pack viewd them as dangerous. Her eyes running over it, wincing at the stump that had been a tail, that must have hurt. Sniffing delicately, smelling him but not sure what to do.
Wrath: For a moment he did the same as her, simply stood there wondering what he should do. It didn't bother him that she was scenting him... if anything he rather liked it. Yet as he stood and watched her he realised he suddenly hated his lack of voice.... of all the things to lose... an eye he could have continued to see with... but his voice? He only had one. Unable to do much else he lowered his head to the ground in a mock bow, his eyes never left her though... he didn't dare... it was against the rules to approach her but this accident had happened on it's own, and it was too late now.
Sayen: Blinks in surprise as the wolf bows to her, not sure if it was some outsider thing, she bows back to him in return. Shifting unsure on her paws. "You're not goinf to attack are you? Mother warns agaisnt outsider wolves..." In truth her moter said different things about the outsiders, though sometimes she laments that they had never found a male pup, just the 3 sisters, a male would have meant the blessing of pups to their pack... There seemed to be a desire for furred pups among her pack, but only furless ones were born.
Wrath: At her question he shook his head, he had no intention of hurting her... Kouga... well that might have been a different story though he suspected even the brown wolf wouldn't have done that, if anything he would have teased Wrath that he had got to speak with her..... he shook his head once more, but this time it was to displace his thoughts, he wanted to focus on her, at least until this moment passed. Rising once more he simply looked at her again, his red albino eyes shining bright out of his white face, he was glad he wasn't bloody right now, having bathed after his earlier hunting excersion.
Sayen: Meets his red eyes wth her violet ones, relaxing a little, smiling at him, he could be lying, she knew this, but she didn't think so. Stepping close she scented him again, her fur was a little longer than most wolves he had seen, it looked soft and clean. She sat in front of him, the pouch hanging around her neck smelling of herbs and medicine, but underneath the smell of the herbs was her wolf scent, subtle as she washed so often and was smelling more like herbs but there. "I'm glad...."
Wrath: He couldn't help but watch every move, as if she was an enchanting little nymph. Yeah, he had it bad. As she scented him he couldn't resist doing the same to her, her scent was hard to locate though, almost outwashed by those stinky plants around her neck... perhaps that was why she wore them. He wrinkled his nose at them but didn't back off. Although he couldn't talk he decided he would at least try to communicate a little. With a tilt of his head he looked at her, a question shining in his eyes though he wasn't sure she would understand it... 'who are you'?
Sayen: Tilts her head, looking at him, laughing a little when he wrinkles his nose. "You don't like herbs?" Moving to the side where a patch of lemon thyme was, leaning down and setting the pouch on the ground, wiggling the strap from around her neck. Walking back and sittign again, still smelling a little like herbs but not as badly, and the smell of the ones she brushed against like the lemon thyme were sweeter and added to her own scent. Looking at him still, at his questioning gaze. Don't talk much do you...
Wrath: He watched her move and wiggle the 'herbs' off, they hadn't bothered him too much but he was thankful they were gone, he would rather smell a more natural her.... but that was dueto a part of him that wanted to commit it to memory. This mistake wasn't one he would be allowed to do again.... not with the whispered plans of his pack, he almost wanted to warn her. Pushing it aside he looked at her a little as she asked her question before shaking his head. Then he looked at her, opening and closing his mouth silently in an effort to express that he had no voice.
Sayen: Watched him, moving closer. "Oh... I see... hmmmm... Cant talk, thats a shame." Looking genuinely sad, not asking if it was new or always, just accepting that he was silent, but then he was only a blip in her life for the moment. "I'm Sayen...."
Wrath: He opened his mouth automatically to offer his own name only to have nothing come out. He growled silently and looked away, how was he meant to talk with her? This seemed silly....!
Sayen: Moved closer, within touching distance. "Hey, its ok, I'd like to know your name but its no disaster... I take it though that you could speak at some point as you tried to answer..."
Wrath: Nods roughly. Yeah, he had once been able to speak and howl just like the rest of them.... with a silent sigh he turned to look at her again, it wasn't as if his name was even one he could act out or describe, so he didn't try. Instead he simply decided to change the subject... plus the urge to touch her, even if only briefly was nearly overwhelming. And so, Wrath acted on pure instinct, moving towards her and nosing her neck for a moment before bounding away and winking, using his head to indicate she should follow.
Sayen: Turns as he goes past her, feelig the brush of his nose agaisnt her fur, diving and snagging the pouch, tossing it over her head as she follows him, never leavign the pouch behind, knowing mother put thigns that could do harm if taken without special information.
Wrath: He knew the forest well now, having little choice but to learn it in order to hunt, stalk and survive, and so he lead her to a spot he liked to wander... getting low on the ground he moved forward slowly, the long grass covering his white form as he came to look down into a hole.... inside was a family of rabbits... and he often found himself watching them whenever he had time and wasn't hunting. There was no need to kill them simply for fun, only for food. Waste not, want not. Wrath wasn't entirely sure why he was sharing this... but it was too late to think about it now. In the back of his mind he was shouting at himself, he had wandered away from his duty, and he knew it would be his hide if either Kouga or Wolf found out.
Sayen: Crawled along the ground after him, not used to moving like this, but then she had never had to hunt for herself. Crawling up to the hole and looking in, her eyes going wide and looking at the wolf, finding it a little odd, did he plan to kill the rabbits? Was he hunting? Was this something else. She had no wasy way to get an answer so she stayed quiet and watched.
Wrath: He watched the rabbits for a moment, finding their ways strange and curious... but when he turned to look at Sayen he couldn't help but frown... she seemed confused... was it really such a strange thing to do? Probably.... most didn't watch their food like this did they? Embarassement washed over him as he backed up out of the grass only a moment later. He frowned and looked to the ground... he should get going. They were too different, if nothing else this reminded him of that.

Sayen: Looked up as he scurried back, scurrying after him, trying to be quiet. "Whats wrong?" Pouncing round, blocking his escape, looking concerned at his haste to leave. "Did I do something wrong?"
Wrath: He looked at her for a moment and shook his head before trying to slip past her again, he couldn't explain so he didn't want to try. He had stuff to do.... he needed to get back to her 'home' and watch those two-leggers she was so friendly with. They were different, nothing about them matched. He felt a twang of sadness in his heart at the very thought. No matter his feelings... he could never claim this female.
Sayen: Steps back, not sure whats wrong, her ears flattening, feeling like she did something wrong. "I'm sorry... I should get back." Brushing against him as she spins and passes him, giving him a wiff of her unmasked scent. Pausing by the trees, looking back. "There are ways to bring a voice back if you weren't born this way...." Not sure what else to say or do she started into the trees to go home.
Wrath: Watched her go, cursing himself... especially as she rubbed against him in a way very much like a wolf against their mate, an exchange of scents.... he bit his lip, wanting so much to follow her... there was something about her that simply drew him. And when she said her parting words he stared in disbelief... there were ways to bring back his voice? Did he dare try to take them? Hesitated had him planted to the spot... and had he been 'off duty' he probably would have followed after the hot fluffy wolf.... instead he forced himself to go the other way, his plan to scope out the far end of the two-legger home and hopefully avoid Sayen altogether.
