War rode in on Ruin stopping just alittle short of were Akari landed. He jumped of Ruin's back the horse continuing to gallop but seemingly running downward a strange portal opening at the horses feet engulfing it. War walked up to were Akari was and stood behind her watching Edmond not sure if the man was friend or foe. He stood ready to attack at any moment though he was in a relaxed stance.

War nodded relaxing alittle and nodded at Akari's words."I am War. I was sent here to restore the balance in any way I can."War said the rough tone of his voice slightly echoing through the forest. He still kept his guard up even with the forest silent. He knew the forest harbored creatures that may try to attack them heartless possibly amongst these beasts.

You'll be surprised how fast they can swarm in dark areas." Akari said as she observed the surroundings for a moment. Suddenly, something caught her attention. It was moving rapidly and crept in the shadows. She drew her Blade of Undying Flames and stood at the ready for a big fight. "Where there's one, there's a lot more waiting to come after you... stay on your guard and don't let the Darkness get to you!" Akari said in a serious tone. gaia_nitemareright

gaia_nitemareleft "We can't fight them... there's far too many to fight." Akari said in a concerned tone as she turned to Edmond. She could sense that he was half werewolf and half dragon, but she was unsure of his abilities. "I'll get you out of here if you can't fly, Edmond. It's better if you have someone to escort you, anyway." Akari said as she revealed her wings and sheathed her blade. She then picked him up in her arms and flew toward the Vampire's Covenant, carrying him there as quickly as she could before the Heartless followed them. gaia_nitemareright

War walked through the forest slashing anything that got in his path making a very easy trail to follow. He stopped in the center and awaited heartless to come to him. Once they did he charged them slashing them to pieces smashing them together and blowing them away. If the heartless had been people one would feel sorry for them as War continued to slaughter the creatures. When all of them were reduced to nothing the rest in the forest fled from him in terror. "Come and fight cowards." War said as he shot some that were still trying to get away. He then punched a tree hard enough to cause it to fly from the ground roots and all. He then jumped and punched it again. Sending the tree flying through the air and crashing to the ground maybe a mile away a loud boom could be heard and a crater was most likely were the tree had landed. War then sat down on one of the fallen trees he looked down at the ground and at his hands. "I have been a fool to think such things as happiness could come to a monster like me. Half angel and half devil the Nephilim are truly a cursed race." War said looking at his giant hand the sight of it sickening him.

War grasped Akari's hand in his and wiped away her tears. "It's not that nobody loves me it that I feel it. Love is alien to me I almost cannot understand it. When I felt love for you it confused me and ...scared me. I fear nothing yet this untouchable feeling gripped me and shook my core." War said he was being fully honest War knew what fear was but never felt it. "I never had a father myself I am a Nephilim half angel half demon. A creature not meant to exist. Though once one of us came forth more began to appear. My kind were strong and fierce warriors but when our leader threatened all of creation me and my brothers took up arms and it was us four that ended our race. So only we four remained as it should be." War said recalling the memory of that day were he had spilled the blood of his kin. It hurt him but his brother death was the one to fully feel the guilt of their deeds. "I am honored that you would call me your father. Though I don't know much of how to be one i will control myself better knowing what i do now." War said as he caressed her cheek lovingly looking at her with the eyes of a loving father.
