A bitter chill seemed to form around her body and she woke up to a rather cold and chilly morning air. Her soft green eyes scanned the area around her as she tucked her tail close to her body trying to give herself a little more warmth. As she exhaled her breath she had not been realizing she had been holding, she realized that she could see it in front of her. It was not very clear as if it was a cloud of her own breath but just a mist of sort that was expelled from her body and formed from the cold air. She became curious as to how it could be possible, maybe it was due to her warm body and the cold air around her. Her fuzzy brown ears twitched with extreme curiosity as she continue to let the air escape from her body through her mouth. She watched a light cloud form before her eyes.
She caught herself becoming entranced with this strange oddness and continued to let the air escape from her mouth for several moments. Taking a deep breath, holding it in for a few seconds and then letting it out through her mouth and then watch the same strange thing form. After a while though, she became bored with it all and got to her hooves. She let her tail twitch away from her body and rest between her back legs. It swayed there for a few moments as she contemplated what it was she would do for the day. Her eyes traveled back to the ground and she picked up her little wool and cotton mouse toy carefully.
Bella never traveled without it, she couldn't remember exactly how it came into her possession but she would never let it out of her sight for long if at all. She traveled away from the teepee to wander away from the forest. An adventure was in store for the day, she decided because it was rather boring seeing the same surroundings all of the time. She traveled for what seemed like hours, her hooves traveling through fields of flowers and just fields of grass until she reached a water source that seemed like a flowing stream.
She set the little toy mouse down, having an extreme thirst after having the dry toy in her mouth for so long and not even stopping to rest. Nothing had caught her eyes or sense of adventure yet and she was starting to become disappointed. She bent her head down and drank water until she felt that she had satisfied her thirst. Her head went up and she scanned the area for some sort of a food source. She found some apples hanging low on a branch from the apple tree close to the stream and decided that she would make a meal of those.
It didn't take her no time at all to eat a few apples, get a little more to drink from the running stream and then she was ready to leave again. Her soft and fluffy long tail swayed behind her as she became a little annoyed in not having found anyone to play with or speak to yet let alone a place that seemed worth her time to venture through. She walked back over to the little toy and picked it back up in her mouth carefully. Bella wandered out of the grassy area and headed west towards what she would hope to be something worth her time.
Within a few more hours she stumbled upon a somewhat dark and almost eerie kind of woods. It was in the middle of the day now and the sun should be casting its glow on this place but the woods before her was set in darkness and shadow it seemed. She was rather curious as to why it would be so dark when the sun was rather high in the sky. Her interest was piqued and she decided that this was the place she would investigate for the day. With no hesitation and only curiosity plaguing her, she started her journey into the woods.
There were dead trees as well as living trees surrounding her and making her feel just a little bit on edge. This was a little foreign to her, she had no idea as to what kind of creatures if any she would run into here. It made her a little bit protective of the toy in her mouth, more so than normal. Her eyes scanned the surroundings constantly as they changed and she wandered what seemed to be deeper into the woods. Her heart seemed to beat faster as she began to become a little scared and a bit jumpy as sounds began to fill her ears. They were sounds she was not familiar with, and it really set her on edge. Her tail was tucked tightly against her body, she wasn't enjoying this as much as she thought she would.
