On the surface: She spends a lot of time inside her own mind, and may have little interest in the other people's thoughts or feelings. Her main interest in dealing with the world is to make decisions, express judgments, and put everything that she encounters into an understandable and rational system. Often many describe her as having a very evolved intuition, and are convinced that she is right about things. This tendency caused her to over time, dismiss others input too quickly, and to become generally arrogant and elitist. Circe has a massive dislike towards messiness and inefficiency, and anything that is muddled or sloppily done. She has a strong value in clarity and efficiency, and will put enormous amounts of energy and time into consolidating their insights into structured patterns. Though on the outside she may seem as aloof and reserved. It is because she is not overly demonstrative of her affections, and is likely to not give as much praise or positive support as others may need or desire. That doesn't mean that she doesn't truly have affection or regard for others, they simply do not typically feel the need to express it. Others may falsely perceive her as being rigid and set in her ways, but nothing could be further from the truth, because she is committed to always finding the objective best strategy to implement their ideas. When under a great deal of stress, Circe may become obsessed with mindless repetitive activities, such as over-drinking. She may also tend to become absorbed with minutia and details that would not normally be considered important to their overall goal. But it should be known that although all of this is true there is one thing she will not forgive: Repetitive Failure, which is punished by abandonment.
But deep down: Circe was born as the daughter of two very well respected scientists. The lovely Circe once had a wonderful life and despite her young age was a well respected scientist just like her parents by 15. Her intelligence was unmatched and she was making progress for the good of people and pokemon. At age 18 her parents were killed by a rabid pokemon in front of her and she snapped. Circe became a horrible person. She experimented on and tortured Pokemon just to find out how they ticked and what made them work. Her work broke through so many walls of Pokemon mystery but at the cost of her reputation.Nightmares of the incident haunted her and it drove her thirst for knowledge that led her down a path so dark that no other known scientist dare tread. Her research led her all over the world to study different Pokemon. The entire time her lab was on the move as she avoided the law and walked the fine line lingering near being arrested, but in due time it all caught up to her. Her final bit of research allowed for ones consciousness to be thrust into the body of a Pokemon. The price of course was the conscious and subconscious of the Pokemon itself. She was about to test it on a Psychic pokemon when things went wrong.
The Pokemon not only subdued her but also wiped her memory of her past deeds. She was left with a clean slate and her rather immense knowledge on Pokemon. She was left with a fear of Tyranitars, and also keeps her knowledge on the one experiment that went wrong. It was shortly after that she began tending to Pokemon and healing them as was her initial purpose. This led her to adopting her first two Pokemon which were a shiny ditto and shiny seviper. She took the two everywhere with her on her travels and found them to be amazing partners. It wasn't until that they aided her in capturing and Absol that it seemed her family was once again complete. The professor wasn't finished there though. She continued on to catch a complete team and enjoy her life making positive advancements int he Pokemon world.
