Vincent: Oh what starry night has blessed us with such joy...My lady...I must covet and cherish these moments of coming life...life...thickets...oh my. Um....I think I may need a woman's perspective on how to handle all this. Sara...yes my sister would know! *bounds off in search of her wisdom*
Saraiyu: *walks slowly through her favorite butterfly meadow, humming quietly to herself until she feels a sudden surge of excitement and happiness* Vinny... *she whispers under her breath and turns around to search for him, quietly wondering what has her brother in such a tizzy*
Vincent: *stumbles through a shrubbery in front of Sara with a goofy and shocked smile on his face* Sara! Oh my beautiful and wistful sister you...today...My lady she...well we...I mean...what must I do for her?
Sara knew her brother well- so well in fact that she almost felt as though she knew what his entirely incoherent statement had attempted to share. "Vinny..." she said quietly and softly, a small smile playing along the corners of her mouth, "You will have to be a little more specific... who are you doing what for and why?" Sara asked the question simply to give him the chance to say it out loud, for she was pretty sure she already knew the answer.
"Oh Sara..." Vincent dropped down to the grass, the rustling blades urging nearby butterflies to find better refuge. Sprawling on the ground, he looked up into the blue sky scattered with fluffy white clouds and sighed heavily, "Sister of mine you could not believe what is happening...or suppose you can with your womanly wiles? I don't know...All I know is that my lady of the sky has reached up into the heavens with her heart and coaxed the gentle twinkling stars to come to this earthly place." Closing his eyes, his goofy smiled remained as he looked back to Sara with questioning eyes. "What must I do for her....for them? How long must we wait? Is she as pleased as me...as scared? If I had a brush I don't think I could even paint..."
Sara chuckled softly and came to sit next to her brother, nestling against his side, draping a wing over him. He never was very good at speaking plainly. For a second, his flowery prose confused her, and she wondered if in fact she had not guessed his feelings correctly. But after wading through it all in her head, and with a little help of a pair of mating butterflies flitting by, her smile turn into a broad grin. "Oh dearest brother... you and your love are bringing new life into the world! And I--- I am to be an aunt! Vinny..." she exclaimed happily and hid her face in his neck, so happy for her brother that it was hard to contain. It took a few moments for her to master herself before she could lean back and look in his eyes, which so mirrored her own in color, "She will simply want you to be there for her. Help her carry things, bring her food, for she will not just be feeding herself anymore... Make her smile and laugh, and speak to the little ones through her skin so they will know your voice even before they see your face."
Vincent nodded as Sara did indeed know what was going on. "I suppose I will have adapt...yes. All my foraging for paint materials must now be for her. At lest these silly hooves know where to find them...and to speak Sara? What would I say? While i spend my days talking to bugs and the sky one would think I'd know exactly what to say to a belly..."
Sara nodded along as Vinny spoke both her and to himself. Would it be hard for him to stop painting, if only for a little while? She knew how he could be overcome by the need to capture something in all its glory- but she could tell how much he loved this hind. Perhaps with a love like his, pausing a passion would seem like an easy feat. Giggling quietly at his questions, she insisted, "Well... aren't you excited to meet them? Don't you want to tell them how beautiful the world is? They can hear and feel... the more love you fill them with, the more love they will have to give when they emerge..." Sara wouldn't admit to herself that she had little idea what she was talking about... she was just saying what she would hope for if, in fact, it were her having the fawns. At these thoughts, her look of certainty faltered a little- was she giving him the right advice? Oh... she hoped she was.
Vincent smiled and chuckled a bit, perhaps if someone had spoken more to Sara in the whom...she may of had more confidence. "When I found out...my heart leaped from chest like a shooting star and soared through the heavens as if I could meet them there." Nodding he turned to her with conviction. "Yes...words of prose will paint for them what they can not yet see...You always know what to say Sara."
Sara couldn't help it, she beamed at her brother's compliment. To be told that she always knew what to say--- from someone who was so good with his words, was probably the nicest thing she had ever heard. She fluttered her wings and laughed, yes, laughed. Usually all she could muster was a small giggle... but all of this good news and her brother's infectious happiness bubbled up inside of her until it could come out in no other form than a full-throated laugh. "I hope your heart didn't go too far, Vinny... I liked it right where it was. In your chest, spreading happiness and love to everyone around you. Oh, my dear brother... can I ever meet her? This beautiful hind of stars?"

Motherhood is nothing more than a blessing. To bring life into the world is one of the greatest gifts & she was one of those lucky hinds. Nayyara is going to be a mother. She was excited & nervous all at once. It's only feels like yesterday her dear Vincent came into her life. A life of hers where she lived in fear due to others picking on her for the way she looks, living her life only at night. Nayyara was still scared to come out during the day, but having Vincent around gave her comfort & safety.
Today she stayed in the observatory, as soon-to-be mother Nayyara wanted their home to be ready for them. Even though it would be quite some time before their little ones would wander around here. Things need to be warm & clean. She was thankful to have such an understanding mate to when she has her nesting moments, especially them coming at such odd hours throughout the days.
Nayyara steps outside for a moment. Closing her eyes as she enjoys the breeze blowing by gently. She smiles to herself before turning her head to look down at her stomach. It was starting to show, Nayyara had to have Vincent help her find a new bag to hold her pretty stars due to the other one getting tight around her. Smiling more she looks back out to the open field in front of her. She was curious to know where he went off too. He left in such a rush.

Vincent nearly jumped a foot off the ground when Sara mentioned that the two best women in his life had never even met. Once. "Oh I...Sara you're right! Again...Sister of mine you have to meet her...and I...I left her alone! Already a horrible father!" Completely distraught he began to nuzzle Sara up and take her off to the observatory.

Sara flinched and almost threw her wings up around herself in surprise when Vincent suddenly jumped to his hooves. She still startled quite easily. With a deep sigh, Sara ruffled her wings back into place and rose to her feet with quiet grace. "Oh Vinny...! I am sure she is fine... but you are right, perhaps we should hurry..." Sara said, slightly nervous. Would his mate like her? Or would she be repulsed by her ugliness?
As they began their way to Vincent's den, Sara grew more and more uneasy... oh, she hoped she wouldn't embarrass her brother. What if she said something wrong...? After a while, what started out as a quick paced trot, slowed to a hesitant walk. I can't do this. Sara was perfectly comfortable and happy around her brother, but meeting strangers would never be a strong point of hers. She didn't want Vinny's mate to know he had such an ugly sibling... what if she began to worry that her fawns would be ugly as well? Sara almost wished there wouldn't be fawns after all- if they were ugly, it would be her fault. Oh Sara, why didn't you think this through?

Nayyara grazed outside of their home for a while as she knew she had to eat more then normal now. She wasn't just feeding for herself now. Feeling excited when she found a few delicious flowers to eat for herself. Nayyara wanders back inside the observatory & into her favorite room where the star ornaments hung from the broken ceiling. She wanted to find the perfect ones for their little ones as she knew her darling Vincent would spoil them with paintings, she wanted to be able to give them something herself.Finding a few ornaments on the ground that didn't completely shatter, Nayyara picks them up gently & places them into her bag.

They had arrived outside the observatory, the beautiful building nothing in comparison to the beauty inside. Nearly prancing in place, he turned to guide Sara in only to find her just visible. Had he been going too fast? he was rather excited...and she had said she wanted to meet her right? "Sara! Sister are you allright?"
Trotting back a few paces he tried to smile reassuringly and show her just how bubbly he had become at this prospect. It was as if he were a newborn spring, or his own personal fountain of youth burrowing up through the earth. "She will love you Sara! Love you just as I do!"
Trotting back towards the observatory and then towards Sara he thought he must look rather foolish. An odd excited way of pacing perhaps. "Lady! Oh my Lady I have brought you the beauty of my Sister!!" He called out to Naya hoping she might come meet them.

Sara slowed so much that by the time they had reached the observatory, she had come to a complete stop. Standing at the end of the woods, looking at the large building, she began to shiver. Everything is going to be okay... Vinny will make sure it is okay... he would never love someone who wasn't nice... even if they find me repulsive... she thought as she watched her brother prance back and forth between her and his home. Taking a deep breath, she tried to strengthen her resolve... this was her brother! He had never asked her for anything, and all he wanted was for his sister to meet his mate. She could do that for him! With another deep breath she willed her hooves forward... but it felt like they were filled with lead.
As he called for his mate, Sara's heart dropped to the ground. "V... vinny.... sh... she might be.... sl... sleeping..." Sara managed to stutter out as she dragged one hoof forward. It didn't get far, however, before it rooted itself to the ground again. Oh no... I'm going to embarrass him in front of is mate... I'm sorry Vinny... my hooves won't listen to me!

Was that him? Hearing his voice again. It was him! Her ears perked up quickly at the excitement her love returning. Picking up the last star off the ground & into her bag, she makes her way to through the rooms to the entrance. If she heard him correctly, someone was with him. It was family. She was quite excited to meet her, from all the stories Vincent has spoken. It was like she already met her. So being nervous wasn't a factor for her. Even with it being daytime, he was around now so it was safe, even having his other family here made it safer even though they haven't met. The entrance wasn't that far now, getting closer she wanted to trot out but knew better too. Poking out slowly, she could see Vincent being silly which caused her to giggle, glancing behind him she could see his family, his sister. Her wings were glorious. Nayyara stood by the entrance still.
"There you are! I was wondering where you wandered off too!" Giggling aloud to herself. Looking over him at his sister. Nayyara steps out some more.
"Welcome, your brother always talks about you so much, I'm happy to put a face to all the stories he's giving"

Vincent nearly swooned as he saw Naya standing there. He wondered what she might begin to look like, how far she could travel, how long it would take...His mind just swirled with questions and possibilities. How many would there be? Girls? Boys? Would they have Naya and Sara's beauty? Would they be silly like him? "Naya I'm sorry I vanished...I just had to share....I was bubbling with excitement and...wonder...and...oh Sara! This is my gorgeous Sister Sara!"
He turned and pointed to her with his hoof, Vincent not understanding how hard this was for her. He was simply too excited. "Sara...this is My lady of the sky! Naya...come meet her!"

Sara simply stood and shivered as her sensitive ears caught the sound of approaching hoofsteps. There was no avoiding it, and it took all the power she had not to simply turn and bolt. That was the last thing she wanted to do-- to run, when her brother wanted this meeting to happen to badly. Attempting to control her anxiety, she tried to breath slowly. It was going well until the glorious form of Vincent's mate appeared in the doorway ahead of them. In an entirely instinctual reaction, Sara dropped to the ground and threw her wings up around herself protectively. "L... lady Naya! I... I'm s... sorry... t... to .... i... intrude... I... hope we d...didn't... r... rouse you!" Sara stuttered out haltingly, the squeaky voice coming out muffled through her thick feathers. Then the self-berating began... she couldn't even great someone like a normal doe... she shouldn't have agreed to this in the first place... now she's gone an embarrassed Vinny and probably frightened poor Naya... If she weren't shaking so violently with nervousness, she might have even began to cry. But she didn't-- to give herself credit, she at least kept herself from doing that.

Nayyara giggles softly at Vincent's excitement. Walking over to him, she nuzzles his neck for a moment. She was happy to see him by her side again, even if he wasn't gone for that long. Blinking for a moment, she noticed Sara hiding behind her feathers & stammering. Poor dear, was nervous. Nayyara of all people knew that feeling all too well. Walking over to her slowly, not to scare or frighten her more.
"Don't be scared, you two didn't intrude at a bad time, I was just roaming around inside."
Nayyara moves closer to her sister-in-law. She then gently nudges Sara's feathers. Hoping to coax her out of hiding behind them. Sara was beautiful, Nayyara wish she had beautiful wings like her & her love. But she knew her children would have them, she only hoped so.

Nuzzling Naya back, he turned to follow her and introduce his sister properly...only...Sara wasn't standing any more. "Sarah?" How many times had he seen her like this before? Afraid...embarrassed. "Oh Sarah...please...you mustn't get so down on yourself!"
Trotting over to her, he laid down in front of her and scooted forward enough so his nose stuck through the edges of her wings. "She's right Sarah...it could never be a bad time to be graced with your presence. You are my sister...the other lady of my life and as such...my beautiful family member"

Sara shivered under her voluminous wings, wishing so much that she could just be brave like the others, that she wasn't so much of a disappointment. As the pair came over and began nuzzling her wings, she took a few deep, calming breaths. Just the way mother had taught her. After a few moments of rustling, Vinny's nose poked through the thick feathers and gently bopped her own. The gesture was so innocent and cute, Sara couldn't help but give a small, watery giggle. Her ears lay back at all the compliments, unable to accept them any more than she ever had. "I... I'm sorry I embarrassed you Vinny... I tried to be brave... like you..." she whispered quietly to him.
After a few moments of hesitation, she moved her wings slightly out of the way so that she could peek up at Naya. "I... I'm sorry I cause s... so much t...trouble..." she whispered as she finally got a good look at Vinny's mate. Well, it was easy to see why he loved her. Naya was beautiful, and Sara could tell she must have a lovely soul song. With a little hiccup, she spoke a little louder, "Y... you're so pretty..."

Happiness spread across Nayyara's face as she saw that her sister-in-law was slowly getting coaxed out of her "hiding" place. Laying down next to Sara hoping it would ease her more out of hiding, her cheeks flush a light red which make a light purple on her instead.
"Thank you, you are beautiful yourself. I hope our little ones have beautiful wings like you & your brother have." She giggles softly.
"You are not causing any trouble at all Sara. If anything your brother is the one who does that"
Glancing over to him, she smiles hoping he didn't mind her poking some fun at him. She wanted Sara to feel at home here like her brother has. It was quiet & safe. She nuzzles sara's wings once more, gently still.
