Imryn wasn't quite sure what this place was, but it didn't seem quite real. The wisps floating all over amongst the never ending mist gave it a quiet, almost gentle, feeling to the place. She was still a bit suspicious as to what might be lurking just out of sight, possibly behind one of the trees that started appearing the farther in she floated. Everything seemed to be dead as far as the eye could see. None of the trees had leaves, and no animals or other creatures seemed to be around at all. It was beginning to creep her out just a little bit when Imryn arrived at a rather large silver tree, towering over the others, though it was just as bare as they were. Was that... a heart beat...? To be frank, it wasn't the oddest thing she'd seen on this journey so far, especially with the goddesses tasks before. At last... At last, someone has arrived to hear my tale. It has been so long, I have been silence too long, taken and hidden, my power feared but not respected, cultivated until I am barren and empty. This is all that remains of my Legacy, but I am not finished, not yet. As long as my powers remain, my children will prosper after me. They will take up my mantle, to protect, to serve, to remember, and to grieve. Men like the Great King will rise again, and fall just as easily, but I only wish to serve. Come now. Help me fulfill my last desire. Now it was talking too. Lovely. Imryn couldn't help but wonder what or who the tree wanted to serve, but just sighed and made her way farther into the forest. "Alright... lets see where this one takes me." So optimistic this one.

Eventually the forest clears and Imryn finds herself at a lake surrounded by even more trees in the distance, though with all the light from the floating orbs, it makes tham a bit difficult to make out. There was a soft humming coming from some where inside the lake it seemed, though it was difficult to make out if there were actually words or just noises. So Imryn placed her head in the water, not really sure if it would help or not, but hey it was worth a shot. "Heal my children," it chimes, "And when you do I will give you a gift of immeasurable value. That is my only wish and my only desire. Take these waters and carry them to my children."Ah... there it was. The voice was clearer now and seemed to be pleading almost, for her to help its children. Which she assumed were seeds or saplings, if the living tree earlier was any indication. After surfacing, Imryn looked around for a moment to see if there was anything around to carry water with, but it looked like she was going to have to make due with just her hands right now. Cupping as much water as possible in them, she carefully made her way back to the tree and poured the water on it, surprised to see a acorn dropping in front of her before the tree withered away. "Ok then..." (Seed: 14 mm)

Quote: Your character is a wizard that goes to Pigfarts, the most prestigious wizarding school of them all. It is their first year transferring into the school, and they are scared they will be sorted into Serpentarius, the rumoured "bad group" among the four sorted groups. You secretly hope you will either be part of the Pegasi (hard working, but not very intelligent), Leo (Brave and noble), or even the Capricorns (Intelligent). If you are a horsemen, hunter, or student, it doesn't matter, you are a student of Pigfarts. You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from. Imryn had been estatic to find her acceptance letter to Pigfarts in the morning post and spent the next week or so gather up the required items and clothing on the list they had sent. Though now that she was actually there and sitting in the great hall, waiting for be sorted along with all the others, it was more than a little intimidating. She wasn't the only first year there but with the sea of people, it certainly felt like it. So she stood there quietly and listened to the chatter all around her, of people catching up, siblings wishing each other luck as the younger ones now joined their older brothers and sisters there at school. Her parents had wished her luck and slipped a little good charm into her luggage, which she wore underneath her robes. If it really worked, then hopefully she wouldn't get sorted into Serpentarius. There had been too many rumors about that house and it seemed difficult enough as a first year without having the weight of that on ones shoulders as well.

Quote: Your character has been a minipet their entire life. They grew up in the Scarefari, where their parents told them to go to Minipet Battle School. Their hopes is to one day breed with a big, strong minipet and create beautiful children. However, on the way there are many adventures, including being bullied by stronger minipets in the Battle Arena, and nearly being sold to the Black Market, or taken to the Altar of Sacrifice. It's a cruel world in the minipet world, and not everyone is out to help them. If you are a horsemen, hunter, or student, it doesn't matter, you are a minipet, in the minipet setting (anywhere on the site is fair game for interpretation "icly"). You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from. This wasn't how things were supposed to go... was it? Imryn had been out of the scarefari less than a month, headed off for some great adventure in search of new places and people to meet. Oh how naive she'd been. While on her way to the Minipet Battle School, she'd gotten side-tracked by promises of fame and glory and found herself trapped in some kind of feline themed circus. Well a circus by day anyways. At night, it turned into a freak show of sorts, where creepy and unsettling minis took part in shows that were meant to frighten their audience. Now she was there, cleaning up after the shows and being a slave to those who considered themselves the 'stars' of the different shows. fetching this and that or dealing with the brunt of their anger if something didn't go just right. Oh how she wished she'd listened to her parents...

(Previously rolled a 7, so choosing prompt 8 instead.) Quote: Your character plays This is Halloween, the greatest online MMO ever created. While in reality they may exist as their somewhat boring, ordinary selves (with jobs, or school, or whatnot), online they can be whatever they want. Part of the noble (but human) faction of Deus Ex as a Hunter, or the more neutral faction of Halloween, or even the feared Horsemen faction. PVPs, raids, and even some roleplayed events occur for your character to get loot. Basically, they are humans ICly playing their actual TiH incarnations, feel free to interpret as you please. You are only writing your character's POV but you can borrow NPCs and any players characters you got permission from. Ok, homework done, dinner cleaned up and cat taken care of for the evening. Time to hop online and see if she'd be able to get into a decent raid or something. 'This is Halloween' was the hottest new MMO out there and had attracted quite a large player base right off the bat. Imryn had found that she rather prefered the Amityville faction to that of Deus X or the Horsemen, and had taken to it quite well. Last night though hadn't gone so well, as the party she'd joined up with tried to go on a raid into the Holiday areas and ended up being defeated fairly quickly. Though that was partly due to their healer not realizing that the JOY creatures loved to agro as soon as you entered the instance, and they had decided to go AFK. And as luck would have it, Sandy Claws had taken that time to spawn and defeat them all before they could say Ho-Ho-Ho. Not one of their finer moments. Needless to say, the evening was a bit soured for her, and IMryn had eneded up logging off without trying again, as she'd spent the last few hours before that trying to find a decent party that hadn't used only chat-speak that made her want to claw her eyes out. Though, if tonights shouts were any indication, it wasn't going to be much better. With a heavy sigh, she headed out to see if someone was up for a few recon missions. Those she knew she was good at.

She'd fed the little sapling a few memories, pleased with how it had grown. It was small and delicate, but alive, and that was the important part, wasn't it. She turned and headed back towards the lake, though it wasn't a lake anymore in the distance was a castle. Water poured from the rocks nearby and pooled in different areas, each one a little different from the other. "Take some of this water, and my blessing. This is my last request. Show my children your world so they will grow each unique and different." Hmm, well alright. There were so many different ones to choose from, was there a right or wrong one? Imryn reached out and scooped up water from the warm pool, taking it back then to the little sapling as fond memories of her life bubbled to the surface. Bright wisps began floating around the little tree as it grew to it's final stage. "Are you satisfied with what I have become?"Imryn just smiled a little, pleased that the thing had lived at all honestly, and very thankful that this didn't turn out to be something else that would have attacked and/or eaten her.
