Alexa was outside with Apolla. She had been training Pyrrhus recently but Apolla demanded some grooming time. So Alexa had a brush and was grooming her Ninetails.
Apolla was enjoying the brushing. She was currently laying down and allowing her trainer to brush her tails. The warm sun was a plus.

Alexa was nearly done with one tail when suddenly a burst of water came at them. She sputtered for a moment but didn't have to say anything. Apolla was not happy.
Apolla was not happy indeed. She was soaked and her grooming was completely ruined. She stood up in a rush and ran towards Virgilia. She attacked by shooting flames at the lopunny.

Apolla was getting really mad now. She hissed at her opponent and moved back. She then shot some flames at Virgilia.

Apolla was fried by the last attack. With all the water and then the electricity.... she didn't stand a chance nor her coat. It poofed up instantly.
Alexa sighed and recalled Apolla. She then walked away hoping the wild pokemon would leave them alone.
