Hello and wellcome all to the Immortal Thief RP OOC chat forum! A special place for only those who are in the Immortal Thief RP, or interested in becoming a part of it, to chat in with one another! Just a please to keep in touch, share ideas, brainstorm, ask questions, make friends, and just get to know the people behind the thief RP!

Alright, as with every good public fourm, there are rules, I do ask that they are followed. But not to worry, they won't be a complex as the ones for the roleplay itself, for obvious reasons.
This area is reserved for those involved with the thief RP, if you want to join, you could allways post your asking here, and those already in the RP are very wellcome to chat here, but this isn't social central. Unless you're a part of the RP, then you're not to be spamming our neat little chat area up.

Please do mind your language, just because this is OOC doesn't mean you can be potty-mouths. No severe swear words, or frivilous use of the milder ones, let's keep this place looking nice, hmm?

Yep, I took a good idea from someone else and used it here. Thankyou PerilousBard, this chat, in my opinion, was a great idea and I bet we all will like it lots. ^^

{Manga... Uneless it's Fullmetal Alchemist or Gundam SEED, where the manga's are just copied off the anime and look really bad in Gundam SEED's case.}

Both have there ups and downs.
Like it was said already, some Manga look really horrid, while others look exceedingly well done.
I'd have to say it's a 50 / 50 split between the two. The pros and cons of each just seem to offset each other... making each good for its own purpose.

In most cases, I perfer manga, especially for shoujo. I don't get the same pleasure from owning a dvd as I do from owning a manga. Manga is so tangible, so copyable, and manga smells good too. ^^ There's nothing like manga, it's just so damn good. I can only think of one manga that is worse than it's counterpart of anime, which is dragonball Z.
In the manga, it is impossible to tell what's going on, whereas the anime is very nice with the action scenes. I'd most likely agree with Mary that Gundam Seed manga is boring except for the fact that I don't read the manga, nor watch the anime [unless I'm making fun of it] ^^ because I haate Gundam seed.
For the case of mangas like FMA, the anime is very nice because of the voices and music, for instance, that song that plays when Ed and Al are talking about home, you know, with the children singing, that song brings tears to my eyes. But, you know, manga just doesn't have that.
However, I've got an idea that manga-makers should seriously take into consideration. You know how some birthday cards, when you open them, they play 'Happy Birthday' or something like that, in MIDII format? Well why can't it be the same way for manga books? Open up an InuYasha, and there's the MIDII format version of 'I am' or open up an FMA manga, and there's the MIDII format version of 'Ready steady go'.
I mean, seriosuly, we already pay 15-17$ per book as it is, the least they could do is throw in some of the crappy little musci bozes.

When it comes to things like Love Hina and Chobits, Manga is extremely better. In fact, in most cases, the only thing that could possibly make an anime better than a manga would be action scenes.
It can be difficult to show action in still frames.
Very few, even the most talented artists cant' do it.
*cough* CLAMP *cough*
Like, Bow Boy BeBop for instance, the action is the best thing about it.

Ok, I have to admit. Trigun, FLCL and Cowboy Bebop are better animes than they are mangas.

Cowboy Bebop is an amazing anime, so full of action and excitement, Spike Speigel is da man. razz Also, I've never seen Trigun, but it's looks good. One day... one day.

eek eek eek eek eek You've never seen Trigun?! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! That's horrible. Ok. If I say nothing else that matters in this whole guild, I have to recomend Trigun. It has got to be one of the all-time greatest animes EVER!!!

Everyone's very energetic today, hm? ^^ Well, I got a new manga about half a week ago called Loveless, and it's a bit scary (( Souhi is a freak, scary. )) but it's a very good story line. Because it's so new, the media hasn't messed it up by turning it into an anime yet! ^^
